Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1540].

2. Now as we find, while there are many conditions that are very good, and the vitality and resistances of the body are very good, there are specific disturbances that cause a great deal of the nervous reactions that make for the inability of the body to function nominally, normally in its mental and physical reactions.

3. These as we find are the source of the cause of the general nervous irritations. We find these as specific conditions.

4. However, there are those affectations of a general nature to the glandular system that produce the tendencies for the overweight, those inclinations for the body to store the weight-producing factors through the system.

5. Then these COMBINED produce the general irritation to the MENTAL REACTIONS concerning conditions about the body.

6. These we find the disturbing conditions with this body, Miss [1540] we are speaking of, present in this room:

7. In the blood supply we find the indications of the activity through the glandular system for the overproduction of the red blood cells. This as yet has not caused, does not produce any organic disturbance either through the heart, the liver or the hepatic circulation.

8. But without the proper precautions for the gradation as it were through the diet to bring about a more normal balance in the supply to the corpuscle system, this inclination will continue.

9. Hence we must reduce the activity of the glandular forces so that we may bring about normal forces for the body, WITH the corrections of the specific conditions in the areas between the first and second sphincter muscles in the lower

1540-1 Page 2

portion of the alimentary canal - or the conditions that are producing a form of hemorrhoids, with the condition in the sphincter centers which need expanding; and with the treatments or applications to reduce the folds that tend to make for this pressure upon the nerve system.

10. The pressures upon the nerve systems, then, as we find, are the specific conditions in the areas indicated; and with the activities that result from the mental attitudes make for the conditions such that the rest is continually broken.

11. Yet apparently the body continues to increase in the weight or in the activity of the system; however, we are gradually - through the inclinations - storing poisons in the system from the reactions of the hemorrhoid condition; thus causing greater irritation to the sympathetic nerve system.

12. As has been indicated, we do not find the organs involved as yet to any great extent that would not adjust themselves with the carrying out of these corrective measures which we will indicate.

13. First, then, we would bring the removal of the conditions that cause the irritation; not exactly by operative measures but by the EXPANSION of the sphincter muscles and centers.

14. Such applications for the removal of the conditions in the sphincter centers would be done by a proctologist. As we find this would be preferable to attempting to treat the conditions in their present state by local applications.

15. However, we find that AFTER such treatments by the proctologist, it would be well to use such an ointment as Tim for the CORRECTING of the conditions as related to the circulation in those areas.

16. Also, in combination with such treatments, we would follow an outline for the diet that would keep the normal activities of the system in such a way that the physical and mental reactions will be more in accord with normalcy - and with the desires of the body-physical, mental and spiritual.

17. In the diet, then, we would beware of bread; and not take very often either the white bread OR the whole wheat. Use rather the rye bread or Ry-Krisp as the ONLY bread that would be taken.

18. Potatoes should not be a portion of the diet save occasionally, once or twice a week - and even then we would only eat the jacket and that close to same, rather than too much of the pulp or bulk.

19. Do not eat too much of butter or fats.

20. And twice a day, thirty minutes before the meal, drink at least four ounces of an equal combination of grape juice

and water. Welch's is preferable. This will only tend to make for the activity upon the glandular forces as related to digestion, and also the activities as related to eliminations will be materially aided.

21. No fried foods at any time.

22. The meats taken should consist principally, or preferably, of fish, fowl or lamb. No hog meat at any time.

23. Do these and as we find we will bring the normal reactions for this body, Miss [1540].

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) What kind of doctor should correct the hemorrhoid condition? (A) Just as indicated, a proctologist.

26. (Q) Is Dr. Parker alright? [James R. Parker, M.D.] (A) He is a proctologist. Very good.

27. (Q) Did the shock which happened to me several years ago, over which I had no control, unnerve me to the extent of affecting my mental condition? (A) Rather is the condition a result of many of the conditions, but the IRRITATION arises the greater in the present from that constant drain, constant irritation upon the nerves and the muscular forces - and the nerves more specific - in the areas that will be aided, and the pressure removed, by the removal of the conditions in the sphincter centers, or in the anus here.

28. (Q) Was my physical condition harmed? (A) Not to any great extent, that will not adjust itself - if there will be those precautions as indicated for the correction or the general conditions. AFTER there has been a sufficient rest from the operative forces - a month to six weeks afterwards, and that long a period kept with the diet followed as indicated - we find that the GENERAL osteopathic treatments for a period of three to four, would be well.

29. (Q) Have I recovered from this shock mentally and physically? (A) As indicated, to the extent that the conditions will gradually adjust themselves to normalcy - if there is the removal of the specific irritations, and the vibratory forces created by the digestive reaction from the following of the diet activities indicated. Then a better condition will be produced, or the system will be materially aided, by the stimulation osteopathically - along the cerebrospinal system from which each portion of the functioning system receives its impulse from the nervous forces; and the glandular system being corrected.

30. (Q) Why is it that at times I feel like I would be

1540-1 Page 4

happy married to this friend of mine, who is a habitual drinker, and then again I feel like I would not. Is my friendship very valuable to him? (A) Friendship VERY valuable; for there are those conditions of each that may be called KARMIC, such that one is dependent, in a manner (mentally, not physically), upon the other. Thus each is a stimulation to the other. We would not advise, though, union in marriage - or wedlock.

31. (Q) Must I change my residence, and is there a conflicting force there in the home affecting me? (A) As we find, with the mental and physical conditions changed, these would be entirely different. But after the corrections physically as indicated, this may be done - if there still remains a troubled anxiety.

32. (Q) Will this travelling business man, whose friendship I admire, ever be any more than a friend? (A) That will depend upon whether or not there is the allowing of such, or the concentrating of the efforts in those directions.

33. (Q) What colors should I wear? (A) Blue - all the shades of blue are those colors that vibrate better for this body.

34. (Q) Am I overweight? (A) As indicated; and the inclinations or tendencies are for this to increase.

35. (Q) What about the thyroid gland? (A) This is not disturbed so much as the glands about the digestive forces, as indicated, that may be corrected by the use continuously - or consistently - of the grape juice, for its effect upon the system.

36. (Q) Are my vibrations very strong? (A) These are up and down; that is, there ARE periods when they are very high, very effective upon others. Then there are other periods when the activities are such, or the irritations such, that they cause in not only self but in others the inclination for irritation.

37. (Q) Would I be happy married? (A) If there is the proper coordination of the purposes of others, yes. If there is that in self which is not in coordination, not so well. WE would advise, though, the home building for everyone.

38. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
