Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1541]; this we have had before.

3. In some respects conditions are better. In others we find there are rather the acute, as well as more aggravated conditions - especially that as related to the broken vein.

4. Here we find the reactions from the effect of poor eliminations, internally - and some reactions in an acute disturbance from infectious forces by being too tightly bound, and the pus forming greater irritations about the area.

5. As we find then in the present, we would make applications first for better eliminations, and with care in the diet that there are not those foods containing fats nor those things that cause a taxation to the kidneys and to the liver area.

6. Also we find that some manipulations osteopathically would aid the system in this direction, especially through the lumbar and the 9th dorsal areas, coordinating the rest with same; also using the Mercury Light - Ultra-violet light. Hence it would be better that these manipulations be applied by one who would use the Light with same. We would take these for at least ten such treatments - the Ultra-violet AND the manipulations. The manipulations would be given about twice a week, and at least once - possibly twice a week in the beginning - the Ultra-violet treatment.

7. We would continue with the regular activities as indicated, making still the application of the ointment D.D.D.

8. These as we find would bring the better conditions for this body.

9. Do that.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What osteopath is suggested? (A) Ober.

12. (Q) Is girdle necessary in aiding the healing of leg condition? (A) It is better, for this tends to make for a strain upon all of the nerves in the lumbar and, of course, through the lower limbs.

13. (Q) Please give strict corrective diet, giving also what to avoid. (A) As indicated, AVOID fats - as butter, as fats from fowl or the like; though fowl, fish and lamb may be taken. Use principally vegetables, and at least one meal each day should consist principally of raw fresh vegetables.

14. (Q) Would poultice of any kind assist healing? (A) We do not find that this would be beneficial, especially when there are the needs for the high electrical forces to be applied.

15. (Q) Should an antiseptic wash be used before the ointment is applied? (A) It should. A weak solution of Bichloride.

16. (Q) And the D.D.D. Cream used? (A) As given.

17. (Q) Any further advice? (A) These we would do, if we would bring the better forces for this body.

18. We are through with this Reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See copy [which was enclosed] of osteopathic and light directions for Dr. Vincent H. Ober, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk, Va., to be left with him after he sees the Reading and examines you.) .)
