2. Now as we find, the conditions which exist are very well understood by Green.
3. Those administrations as we find are in keeping with that which will be the better influence for the body.
4. While it is rather a complicated condition, the abilities to change those conditions where there has been a telescoping of a portion of the intestinal system will be aided the more through the hydrotherapy applications - which have been used at times.
5. Then, combined with the mental and spiritual attitudes of those who surround the body, these as we find will bring about the better results for this body, Mr. [1546].

7. (Q) Can you give the name of physical trouble causing this body such violent pain? (A) As has been described, it is the telescoping of a portion of the intestinal tract.
8. (Q) It would be well to continue, then, with the osteopathic doctor, Dr. Charles Green [Charles S. Green, D.O.], 52 Vanderbilt, N.Y.C.? (A) As we have indicated, this body as we find UNDERSTANDS the condition - and is making the proper applications for the relief - though MORE of the hydrotherapy treatments would be in keeping with the conditions; that is, the dilating of the portion of the colon to make for changes AS the adjustment are made.
9. (Q) How long before this body will be able to resume business activity? (A) This, to be sure, depends upon the response that is made. But the condition must change materially within the next few days; else it would become necessary for other measures. But the conditions are understood, and as we find

the correct methods are being used - IF there will be added MORE of the hydrotherapy treatments for dilating the colon.
10. (Q) Do you advise continued hospital examination? (A) It is very well.
11. (Q) Can the case be successfully handled solely through Christian Science? (A) Well, this would depend upon who would be the one to be the judge in such. As we find, in each phase of an individual experience the applications in a scientific manner for such conditions are necessary. Prayer is just as scientific as the knife, in its individual field. Mechano-therapy or mechanical treatments are as effective in their individual field, and are of the same source as prayer - if applied in the same way or manner, or WITH the same sincerity. From the experiences here, with this body, we find the needs for - as it has - hospitalization, mechanical appliance, AND prayer! For those who desire to cause activities through the influence of divine forces, let us consider: What were the methods used by Him, upon whom each one calls? Just by speaking, just by prayer, just by fasting? No. Was there not anointing? Was there not washing? Was there not mechano-therapy? Were not even other conditions used in combination with them all? For indeed it is as has been given from the beginning, "Know, O Israel, the Lord thy God is ONE!" Then, that which is good, that which is helpful, that which is patient, that which is longsuffering - ALL enters into the experience of the individual that the soul may become more and more aware OF that truth; that the Lord is ONE in US! ALL then in their OWN phase of consciousness may arise to, and arrive at, that awareness within themselves; by the applications of those things which are necessary to do that which was given from the beginning, "SUBDUE the earth!" That which is, then, is for the glorification of the Creator. And man in his application of nature IS to make SUCH application to the glory of the divine, AS it may express and manifest in the individual experience!
