Now resident Time of Reading at the home, 4:25 to 4:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, giving a detailed description of physical and mental causes holding the entity in ill health, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, there are some variations in the disturbing factors in the present from that as we have had here before; though many of the reflex actions are much in the same nature as was first indicated - the inability for physical activities without a great deal of disturbance, and the weakness, the upsetting of the digestive forces and eliminations.

4. But we find that NOW there is more of a disturbance with the connection or associations of the gall duct and the lower portion of the stomach or duodenum, as empties into the jejunum.

5. This pain is reflex in its nature, for the activity arises from the lack of impulse from the centers in the cerebrospinal system, as well as the incoordination with the eliminations or activities from the gall duct to act upon the assimilation.

6. The colon, of course, is still involved, as also those portions just before entering the colon.

7. Hence in the present, we would not take away those positive statements or the trust in the divine forces and influences within to bring about the better coordination.

8. Yet as we find, as these applications (which we will give) are within the physical reactions, and an aid to the impulses for the better coordination, there would be brought better conditions for the body.

9. Little internal medicines or of any nature would we take, save those properties to aid in easing the digestive system; as in the Alcaroid. This we would take after each meal when

1546-2 Page 2

there is produced from same that fullness and burning in the pit of the stomach, or those areas where the distresses arise - even where there is the emptying of the stomach, and through the duodenum area. This we would take - about a quarter teaspoonful dissolved in a small quantity of water, then a full glass of water added.

10. Then we would have regular periods of the osteopathic adjustments as will set up drainages from the stomach THROUGH the intestinal system. These should be given at least twice a week until six or eight are taken; then they may be made a little farther apart if the condition is improved to such an extent as to justify same - or if the condition is developed as to be for the betterment, then they may be made once a week or the like.

11. We would use the colonic irrigations to purify and to remove those disturbing forces through the colon area. There should be at least two of these in the first two weeks; then they may be made farther apart - but these would be given AS the first series of osteopathic treatments are given - that is, during the same length of time.

12. Although there is already in the present an indication for betterment, we find that these applications added will bring better conditions for the body throughout.

13. Do that.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) Are there also mental attitudes holding the entity in ill health? (A) As may be indicated from that as just given, there may be the positive actions through the mental self for a perfect organism working for positive forces, such as to bring the better coordination of the spiritual, mental and physical being. These are as attitudes, yes - but not intentionally are they being held.

16. (Q) What procedure would you recommend to overcome the difficulties? (A) Using, in the way indicated first, those corrective forces for the conditions which exist physically. If there is the right attitude in the mind of the operator in such mechanical adjustments, to keep the spiritual and mental coordinant - understanding the attitudes of those in such conditions - these AS the applications are made may be materially aided.

17. (Q) Would it be preferable for the entity to go to Clifton Springs or return to New York City for treatment, rather than to follow instructions in ..., Ohio? (A) If it is practical for the entity, it would be better for the entity to be in New York or environ FOR the

1546-2 Page 3

application of those suggestions indicated.

18. (Q) Would you suggest treatments at Copeland Institute, Freeport, L.I.? (A) If the environs and surroundings of the Copeland Institute are more in keeping WITH the body than others, do that by all means. But if there is just as well an attitude toward such as Dobbins, we would give rather THAT environment - or method of application of the adjustments.

19. (Q) Who should give the colonic irrigations? (A) Anyone that is equipped for such, or in the position to give such; or at such a hydrotherapy place.

20. (Q) What character of osteopathic treatments? (A) As indicated, those to stimulate draining through the areas where disturbance is indicated. For, as is understood by the osteopath, each portion of the system has areas from which impulse arises, see? Within this body, through the general weakened condition, there have been the inclinations for foods to ferment, because of the lack of activity through the gall duct and the gall duct area. Consequently the conditions through the colon activity cause the fecal forces to produce those disturbances. These all need stimulation, but consistent with the natural reaction; so all should be combined in their regular order.

21. (Q) Is sacro-ileac nerve alright? (A) It is naturally involved, but with the stimulation of those areas and, of course, the GENERAL coordination of the whole cerebrospinal system WITH the specific centers in the upper dorsal and cervical, it will make for the correction necessary.

22. (Q) If instructions are carefully followed, how soon could the entity resume his regular business activities? (A) He should within six weeks.

23. (Q) Is it advisable that the entity's business be continued by partners during his inactivity, or should it be liquidated now by his business associates? (A) If there is the desire on the part of the entity that the business be carried on by self in the position as has been formerly, then continue; for there is no doubt but the body may continue in such a way and manner as to conduct same - if these suggestions as indicated are followed. If there is the desire that this period be taken advantage of, liquidate.

24. (Q) If finances prevent return to New York, can it be accomplished in ...?

1546-2 Page 4

(A) This as we find would be under difficult circumstances, owing to some suggestions and attitudes of surroundings; but can be accomplished if there is the determination that it will be done.

25. (Q) Can the entity secure a complete recovery through Christian Science alone? (A) As we find, if it had been the most advisable, this alone would have been suggested. But let's have all the spiritual life, all the mental life and the physical life consistent one with another. For they each have their part in the whole. Just as Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit are the Godhead; so the Body, the Mind, the Soul (or the Spirit) are one in the physical body, but each performs that function in the consciousness of man - just as the Godhead does in man's indwelling in the earth. Here, as indicated, we have a PHYSICAL condition produced by such unbalanced influences in the physical attributes of the PHYSICAL being. Not that such a recovery would be impossible, but - as has been indicated by the Example, by the Way - not ALL were told to wash in the pool of Siloam, not all were told to "Take up thy bed and walk," but each according to his or her faith. What is THY faith?
