Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will have before you [1548], present in this room. You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions that may be asked, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1548]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, there are real improvements in the general physical forces in the present from that as we have had here before.

4. There are still the effects of a great deal of scar tissue through the lungs, yet as we find - with the proper precautions, and with keeping the system rebuilding in its assimilations - we should supply sufficient of the energies to care for all of these conditions without the danger of there arising inflammatory forces, or the exercising of the cellular force in the body itself.

5. For, while the inhalations have kept the allaying of the active forces, we find that the vibratory forces as changed in the blood stream have been and are also purifying same.

6. Remember, the body does gradually renew itself constantly. Do not look upon the conditions which have existed as not being able to be eradicated from the system.

7. The greater precautions are for those areas where the tissue is involved in the casement or the pleura itself, as it is more fibrous than the cellular forces of the lungs themselves.

8. Hence in the activities - while they may be gradually increased - do not so exercise the self in the manners as to produce a great quantity of the blood flow TO the lungs; in raising, as it were, the body to a too great perspiratory activity. For the greater the perspiratory action, the greater is the expansion of the respiratory system to care for the carbonizing of the blood stream.

9. Hence such would be inclined to produce the stretching of

1548-3 Page 2

the pleura in such a way - with the quick respirations - as to irritate same.

10. Recharge the keg entirely with a NEW solution, see - the Brandy. Keep this up.

11. Also keep up the exercises; as well as the Calcios and the milk as indicated to be taken with the Acigest.

12. Then the raw milk can be taken occasionally for the satisfying of the body needs for even the casein in same; but as this is taken be mindful of the eliminations - and the effect that this has - or may produce - upon same.

13. Keep the precautions as to the exercises, the keeping of the feet dry, keeping out of drafts, and out of those environs or surroundings where particles of dust or of such natures may be inhaled.

14. Particularly keep away from inhaling any quantity of STEAM, or the like. While the activities in such environs are NOT harmful, the steam should not be inhaled.

15. Do this, and keeping the regular precautions that are generally indicated, we should find the body continuing on the improve.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) Should osteopathic treatments be continued? If so, how often - and please give specific directions? (A) If there is a general osteopathic treatment about once a month - as indicated in the present - this SHOULD be sufficient. It would be more to assure that there is kept perfect alignment. Then, rather than SPECIFIC activities, let the manipulator see that each segment is in perfect alignment. That doesn't mean just to look at or to examine the upper dorsals, or even the cervicals, but that EACH segment along the spine is rather in alignment! This as we find will NECESSITATE, naturally, that there be the proper precautions taken by the manipulator that the area through the 9th dorsal area (that is, the 7th, 8th, and 9th) AND that in the lumbar axis are cared for more specifically. For the natural inclinations or reactions, from disturbances of a pulmonary nature, are to produce pressures upon the connections between the cerebrospinal nerve center itself AND the sympathetic system - at those particular portions. They tend to press DOWN, by the NATURAL pressure of the ANXIETY! For, as the body may have experienced - as the body FEELS better, it feels more lifted UP; and the natural inclination

1548-3 Page 3

is to be buoyed up. This aids; but ANY disturbance of the nature that produces a pressure upon the pulmonary system makes hardships upon the activity of the liver and the kidney, as its circulation applies to the central circulatory system; thus producing the indicated conditions in those particular segments - or vertebra areas - as indicated.

18. (Q) What is peculiar feeling of contraction in throat at times? (used to have it years ago, before my lung trouble started) (A) It is the need for the activity with the GLANDULAR system, or the thyroids specifically, as related to the GENERAL circulation. Hence it is well that at TIMES the Calcios be increased; not every time, but once a week or oftener, increased just a little; to aid in stimulating glandular activity. Also it is well to increase in the diet especially the quantity of fish or shell fish that would be taken - to add iodine to the system.

19. (Q) Do I have an abscess in my eye tooth? (A) Rather a leakage that may be cleansed through local application.

20. (Q) What is condition of cavity in right lung? (A) As has been indicated.

21. (Q) Is the diseased part completely healed? (A) As has just been indicated, all portions are in abeyance to the applications and to the general systems building up. And there needs be only, then, the keeping up with the activities that have been indicated.

22. (Q) Still have a little bit of phlegm. Can this be completely removed? (A) This is not a hindrance. Remember, it is NATURE'S manner of relieving congestion. Keep up the inhalations and the other properties, and we will find - as the system is purified - this will be eliminated.

23. (Q) Have activities been too strenuous? (A) Warnings have been given, and are still given, in these directions; and ESPECIALLY under those conditions or circumstances as indicated. When housecleaning, wear a gauze over the face or mouth. When around steam, have as much air as is possible. It is

1548-3 Page 4

well for the lungs, of course, to keep moist - but NOT that CHARACTER of moisture.

24. (Q) Would swimming activities be advisable? (A) VERY; if there is not the attempt to OVERDO this!

25. (Q) Any other helpful suggestions? (A) Hold to that KNOWLEDGE - and don't think of it as just theory - that the body CAN, the body DOES renew itself! Then keep those portions of the body active that do this; and we will find these conditions will - in a little while - be a thing of the past.
