Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will have before you [1548], present in this room. You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Miss [1548]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, conditions are greatly improved from that as we have had here before.

4. Throughout the area of the lung where disturbing forces have existed, there has been even an increase in the surface of the lung tissue that has improved, grown, and even aids now in the purifying; and has become an active influence for health-giving forces, rather than being a detriment to the general system.

5. That there is the indication that the pleura in the lower portion has stayed itself is rather the better indication for the lower lobes of the lung AND the liver, rather than being a disturbing force.

6. These then as we find are bettered conditions throughout the system.

7. Then, there needs to be the general precaution taken. For as should be held in the attitude of the body, irrespective of what may be said locally or incidentally: Know that the body rebuilds itself (this is often said and then forgotten when there are improvements in a condition), and that as long as the conditions are on the IMPROVE these will CONTINUE to make for improvements in warding off, in replenishing, in building up.

8. Of course, where scar tissue has been indicated, this tends to make for inclinations or weaknesses. And thus it behooves the body not to make for activities in such an environ where dust or accumulations of any nature would tend to make for the POSSIBILITIES of reinfection of any kind.

9. Keep the KEG. This IS as life itself. When this keg is

prepared again, rinse it out first, you see, before it is refilled again. Rinse with WARM - not hot but WARM water, so that the accumulations from the distillation or evaporation of the properties are removed, and there is less of that influence or force which arises from the acids that come from such infusions.

10. Then use this, with more calcium - that is in the Calcios - as a stimulation to the general activity of the thyroids, especially, and the glandular forces for the assisting in the circulation.

11. Take the exercises and the activities or labors much in that manner where it will be in the open, then, as much as practical; though office work, of course, may be a part of the work, provided it is not where there is excess of drafts or the closely crowded rooms, or where the effusion from a great many bodies in an overheated room is a part of the surroundings.

12. In the diets keep to those things that are body and blood building.

13. And as the mental and the physical is improved, use it - the self, the time, the experience - in that of constructive thinking. Leave off animosities, hates, petty jealousies; and we will find it will make for more and more a constructive influence in the body-forces.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) Should osteopathic treatments be continued? If so, how often? (A) Once a month should be sufficient. These are well, though, to keep an equal balance through the system. For, the osteopathic treatment - for this general condition here - is not as a curative, but rather to keep the bodily tensions in accord so that eliminations and assimilations and general distributions of the energies are kept in a normal balance; as well as enabling through such to be checked up as it were on self in a general manner. When there are colds or the inclinations of same, use the oils or the combinations of that which alkalizes the system. Thus it is well that the eliminations be watched carefully. For know THIS: Very few tubercular conditions, or where there HAVE been, that do not at least at some time involve the whole hepatic circulation; and the destructive forces from such are active upon the liver and the kidneys. Then if the eliminations are kept near normal, we will find any condition of the nature is kept under the right directions, see?

16. (Q) Are A. B. D. tablets well?

1548-4 Page 3

(A) As we find, if there is the desire for such, and the body grows the least tired, the best combination for the vitamins as well as the resistances would be found in Codiron. For here we find not only A. B. D. and G., AS the correct balance in the vitamins, but Iron AND Cod Liver Oil, that keep a normal balance for the body. But when these are taken, take with the foods.

17. (Q) How many each day? (A) One or two for this body.

18. (Q) Any routine exercise suggested? (A) As indicated, it is well that some time each day there be exercise in the open. Do not attempt EVER to be in environs where it is necessary to push things above the head, or to use the arms where it makes for a pressure upon the pulmonaries across the areas of the mammary glands, or the stretching of the mammary glands on either side. But that which is BELOW the chest, not that where there is so much that it is necessary to stoop or bend the back so much. All of those exercises then that would keep the body in a normal position are well; though a regular exercise of rising on the toes, gradually raising the hands - as a nominal exercise - is very well for the body, but not under strain. This done night and morning, preferably with as little on as possible, but not of course in drafts but where there is plenty of fresh air. Doing this, and activities in these directions, we may bring the use of the energies, the abilities and all the influences of the body to make the life SO worth while! Make each association, each connection BETTER for thou having been in same.
