Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mr. [1557].

2. Now - as we find - the diagnosis of disturbing conditions has been near correct; yet we find that the greater precautions to be taken have not been considered sufficiently.

3. For the conditions are such, with the GENERAL system, that there must be special precautions in certain directions.

4. Now these are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mr. [1557] we are speaking of, present in this room; first:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there are the indications of how the activity of bacilli through the system is lacking in sufficient oxygen for the purifying of same through the pulmonary system.

6. While the bacilli is not so active in the pulmonary system in the present, the precautions as to the effects of these conditions upon the liver, the kidneys, would be the better for the body - and must be the more considered in the present.

7. For the tendencies, under the existing conditions, are for the engorgement of a lobe of the liver; and this making for an excess activity of the kidneys to purify the blood system then causes a hardship upon the rest of the body as related to the manner in which assimilations for body building are carried on.

8. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, here we find disturbances that arise from the effect of a lesion between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nerve systems.

9. This as we find is in relationship especially to the lumbar axis.

10. And this again causes then a pressure through the kidney area.

11. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain

forces are very good.

12. The throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx - all of these show the effect of stayed conditions.

13. Through the lungs themselves there is the effect of the disturbing conditions, but they are not so active as IN the circulatory forces of the system.

14. In the throat, the bronchi - these need precautions especially as to causing or producing for same the clarifying of the areas through using the inhalations often that will aid in same - for the areas of the bronchi and larynx.

15. Also such inhalations will aid in the ability of the air chambers that purify or oxidize the circulation; aiding in purifying same.

16. As to the activities upon the circulatory system from the heart, the liver, the kidneys; or from the lungs, heart, liver and lower hepatic circulation: Here we find the greater disturbance.

17. THESE THEN ARE PRECAUTIONARY CONDITIONS THAT MUST BE CONSIDERED FOR THE BETTER PHYSICAL REACTIONS OF THIS BODY:

18. For it is not the bacilli to be feared most in the effect, but rather conditions that may arise - as the causing of these - in the effect upon the other portions of the system.

19. As to the activity of the digestive system, here we find it at times hard for the body to gain an equal balance - because of poor assimilations that at times occur through the body. These are rather in the present sympathetic conditions, but at TIMES they become such as to affect the organic functioning - through the lack of the gastric flow and the inability of keeping the proper balance between the acids and alkalinities of the bodily system itself.

20. The activities of the liver, the spleen, the pancreas - and the digestive organs themselves: These as we find become disturbed; hence the lack of appetite, the overdesire for certain things - all of these become a part of the racking influence upon the bodily forces.

21. In the activity of the lower hepatic circulation - we find that in the beginnings, when there were disturbances through the lower portion of the digestive system - and exposure, and then the inhalations of fumes that became destructive forces - and then the activities upon the pulmonary system itself - all of these became as the first causes.

22. Now these are allayed, but the great precautions must be taken in relation to those activities indicated.

23. THEN, IN MAKING FOR THOSE INFLUENCES NECESSARY:

1557-1 Page 3

24. While the greater measures are very good, these are well at times to be taken - but, as we find, we would do these:

25. First prepare an inhalant, to be taken through the nostrils as WELL as in the mouth; at least twice a day, and may be taken oftener if there is a greater irritation in the throat and bronchi.

26. To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, in an 8 ounce container - preferably with a glass stopper, add: Oil of Eucalyptus...................40 minims, Rectified Creosote..................10 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin........20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp................5 minims, Tolu in Solution....................60 minims. These of course will stand in suspension when kept corked. When ready to use, shake; then inhale through each nostril (holding the other), first. Then cork again, shake; then breathe deep into the lungs - the FUMES only, of course, that rise from same.

27. Also we would prepare Pure Apple Brandy, in a charred container. Have the container at least twice the size of the quantity of the Brandy; that is, if half a gallon of Brandy put same in a gallon or gallon and a half container. Be sure this is the oak charred keg. Have this so that it may be kept corked thoroughly, but so that ONLY THE FUMES may be inhaled from same.

28. We would do these, with the precautionary measures as to the activities as well as for diet - and here again we find that the proper diet, combined with the inhalant given, will work wonders for the body. For the properties inhaled will work with the activity of the respiratory system, as well as the properties contained therein will act upon the influences of the liver and kidneys in their ability to be purified - in the assimilating of those forces that arise from the infusion of these influences indicated.

29. In the diet: Use Dry Milk (not so much of Raw Milk) with egg and with Brandy - or GOOD Whiskey; this not too often, but once or twice a day. This will give an activity for the sharpening of the appetite, or enable the appetite to be more active.

30. Use pure Beef Juices, fish and fowl as meats. No HOG MEAT in ANY form or nature!

31. Use vegetables that are of the bulbular nature, whether of the bulb or below the ground - but have them in the proportion of three above the ground to one below the ground whenever these are taken.

1557-1 Page 4

32. Do these; being mindful, of course, that there is not a getting of the feet damp, that there is not too much night air, and that there is plenty of sunshine.

33. And we will find we will make better conditions for this body of Mr. [1557].

34. Ready for questions.

35. (Q) Is cigar smoking harmful for this body? (A) Provided they are not inhaled, not harmful - when taken in moderation.

36. (Q) What would be considered moderation for this body? (A) Three a day.

37. (Q) What is the condition of the right lung? (A) This as has been indicated is not active in the present, but there will be greater activity or flow of the lymph and blood supply if those actions are taken as indicated. For we will find HEALING influences from those inhalations, the properties acting as an antiseptic and as a stimuli also for the activity of the glandular forces. Thus we will not only keep those conditions where they are sealed, but prevent spreading.

38. (Q) What causes occasional pain in the lower part of the spine? (A) Those pressures as indicated from which the first causes arose. It will be well for there to be given about twice a week an application of the electrically driven vibrator, across the lumbar and sacral area, extending to the coccyx end of the spine. Do not use the hard rubber applicator; only the sponge applicator. Let the treatment be when the body is ready to retire, and for at least ten to fifteen minutes; principally across the lumbar, sacral and coccyx area - but it may be extended the whole length of the spine, to make the body rest easier.

39. (Q) Is exercise harmful for this body? (A) Harmful if there's that of any nature that gets the arms too high above the head. Walking or the like, so it is not too strenuous, is well; but none where there is pulling or pushing of any nature.

40. (Q) How much rest is required for this body daily? (A) Besides the seven or eight hours rest, there should be at least two periods during the day of an hour to an hour and a half.

41. (Q) What causes slight deafness? (A) This is from a catarrhal condition of the eustachian tubes, which will be materially aided by the inhalations that have been indicated; though, of course, it's gone too far to be CURED - as would be said.

1557-1 Page 5

42. (Q) Are the following PURE Apple Brandy? F.F.V. Brandy. (A) This is not so good.

43. (Q) Peak of Virginia, and Hildick Brandy? (A) Hildick is the better of these.

44. (Q) What IS a good Pure Apple Brandy, so it seems hard to get? (A) As just indicated, the Hildick is very good - the pure, hundred percent.

45. (Q) Is Veal good in the diet? (A) Not so good.

46. (Q) What is considered red meat? (A) Ham or rare beef. Do those things that have been indicated, being precautious; and we will find greater relief and a much more active mental and physical body.
