Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Florida. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [1560].
2. Now, we find the conditions and the disturbances are well advanced - and there is active bacilli through the lung channels. But we find that there is still resistance, and with the great desire for expression in this experience - with the proper applications, the proper considerations and activities - there may be many, many, many moons for the body in comparative ease from this disturbance.
3. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [1560] we are speaking of; first:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find low in numbers as for the red blood. Yet there is resistance, as indicated, in the manner in which there is the functioning of the leucocyte and the lymph in the system.
5. And while there is great variation in the numbers when the white blood cellular count would be taken, this may be increased as well as the red blood efficiency.
6. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, where there are those pressures through the sympathetic or lymph blood supply, and the lymph system - as in throat, bronchi, larynx - we find that a great deal of disturbance comes; from the natural pressures upon the nervous system, in the attempt for the flow of the lymph and the blood stream through the lung area which is congested, and where portions are blocked. Hence spasms of coughing occur that are very nerve racking, both to the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous system.
7. There are also those inclinations for the shortness of the breath, and the periods when there is the necessity for the stirring of the air or oxygen in order that the body may OBTAIN sufficient!
8. One of the reasons for this is the low altitude, and we would find that a change in this direction would be well; also in the manner of applications that as we find would be more beneficial to the body.
1560-1 Page 2
9. In the nervous system such conditions naturally make for a reduction of the strength, the vitality; and cause those irritations that prevent the body from having the normal rest from sleep as should be accomplished for the body.
10. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as we find, the mental and the brain forces are high; or there is a great deal of activity, there is a great deal of ability, and the resistances are high.
11. In the head and through the soft tissue of throat, and of the face and head - all of these suffer somewhat owing to the lack of the proper resistance in the efficiency of the blood stream.
12. And infectious forces at times attack. With the general condition in throat, bronchi and lung proper, these make for periods when the body - for the time - may lose its hold as it were upon its resistances. Yet these as we find may be aided considerable if there will be the applications for those corrections which as we find may be accomplished with the body.
13. Owing to the low resistances in the blood cellular force, there is the necessity to keep the assimilation in such measures and manners that - with the least possible activities of the body - the greater QUANTITY of the energies may be builded and resistances accomplished to resist those active forces in the circulatory forces as well as the lung tissue, as well as other portions that become affected by the resistances in the active force of the bodily conditions.
14. THEN, AS WE FIND, IN MAKING APPLICATIONS THAT WILL BE THE MORE HELPFUL FOR THIS BODY, [1560] we are speaking of:
15. First, as soon as practical, make those changes to other environs; especially as the seasons are changing and these are the periods when there is naturally less resistance, with the types and character of disturbances for the body, as well as producing greater active strain upon the functioning of the system which calls for resistance and supplying of energies through the body.
16. Hence we would change to those surroundings of the Carolinas, those in the mountain area - as about Asheville, or not so far from same; but not institutional, nor where there is confinement - though the body should rest a great deal.
17. For THIS body, drink MILK direct - body heat from the cow! In the surroundings let the cow be one that not only has the fresh pasture but also the dry food. Let there be tests made, to be sure, for the character of milk from the cow chosen for this condition. But drink it at least twice
1560-1 Page 3
a day with the body heat of the animal in same, see? This may be a little disturbing at first but will soon be found to be MOST helpful, MOST beneficial.
18. At least twice or three times a day take a tablespoonful of Beef Juice, but in VERY small sips. Not just swallowed; not as spoonsful - but just sipped, so that the assimilation not only begins by digestive forces but - prepared properly - begins with the salivary glands, the throat, the esophagus, the cardiac portion or the assimilation of the stomach; and will give STRENGTH to the body. If there is the feeling of weakness even in the evenings or night, sip just a little of this; it will give strength.
19. Also once or twice or three times a day take about half an ounce of wine; this to be sipped in the same manner. Champagne, of course, would be better - but light wine, not real heavy wine nor that which is too sour or too sweet - but that which will, by the sipping, give the tendency for the increasing of the flow.
20. Then, have prepared - this, to be sure, will necessarily be under the direction or by order of a physician - not more than five or six capsules at the time, each containing the following: Oil of Eucalyptol...................1 minim, Rectified Oil of Turp.............1/2 minim, Compound Tincture of Benzoin....1 1/2 minim, Codeine..........................1/60 grain.
21. This will necessitate the physician's prescription, then. If it is more preferable, make same into a syrup - but we would find it preferable to put same in capsule, even though it is liquid. Do not make more than five or six capsules at the time, and these will necessarily have to be kept in a very COOL place.
22. These are not to be taken more often than one capsule a day, or during a twenty-four hour period; and it may be taken, or may be necessary to be taken in the evening.
23. Use the inhalations two or three times a day from the Apple Brandy. Put half a gallon or a gallon of the Brandy in a container at least twice the size or holding twice the quantity or space used by the Brandy; that is, in a charred oak container - if it's a gallon of Brandy use a two gallon container; if it's half a gallon of Brandy, use a gallon container. Preferably, when it is put in, close the bung where it is put in, with an oak or bung stopper. Then in the top, or one end of the container, the keg, bore a hole a quarter of an inch. Insert a metal tube - preferably of silver or nickel, or copper. This would extend an inch or inch and a half into the container, and two or three inches
1560-1 Page 4
above same. This then would be kept tightly corked, either with a screw cap or a cork. Keep close to heat, but not HEATING necessarily; so that evaporation takes place. Only inhale the gas that arises FROM the Brandy distilling, as it were, itself, or throwing off the fumes. Shake a little if there is not sufficient gas when the second or third inhalation is taken. This may be inhaled directly from the tube, or a rubber tube may be attached - but do not lose the gas! This IS effective, efficient.
24. WHEN, and IF the body goes to the higher climate or higher altitude, or a more even climate, take Calcidin; in this manner: Dissolve three to five grains of the Calcidin in an ounce of distilled water; keep this warm, and once or twice a day sip about half a teaspoonful. DO NOT take this, though, in the low altitude - or close to the seashore; for the effect of the iodine in the circulation would not be as efficacious in the low altitude as in the high.
25. Keep the mental attitude constructive.
26. In the diets - besides the Beef Juice and the Milk, which would be taken more as medicine than as a diet:
27. Take EGGS, RAW - if they can be taken. And if the body can assimilate same, take the WHOLE egg; for the albumin of the white - while it may be severe at one time, it is necessary at other times. And these may be taken in BEER if so desired, or in a little whiskey - but take the whole egg. This once or twice a day will be found to be MOST helpful.
28. Eat all of the chicken that is possible - EVERY DAY, but do not fry same! or merely roast. Rather it would be broiled or baked, or cooked in its own juices inside the oven.
29. Have liver often, and this the rarer the better; taken at least two or three times a week.
30. Then the foods for weight and that will aid in caring for the activities through the absorptions and through the digestive forces.
31. Pot liquor and cabbage raw and cooked, but NOT WITH MEATS - cook them in their OWN juices, and with butter - these are well.
32. Beans in their season, these also are well.
33. Have fish once or twice or three times a week; preferably this also baked or broiled. Do not have it altogether as sea food nor altogether as fresh fish; but have quite a variation in same. And those that are the larger the better. And when this is eaten, especially the larger bone in the back of the fish - baked - should be EATEN for the calcium that is in same.
34. Do not take calcium separate, for you will get
1560-1 Page 5
sufficient in the Calcidin - which is calcium and iodine in combination - that works with the system in such conditions.
35. Plenty of chicken, as indicated - these should be the character of meats, as we find - not beef but the Beef Juices.
36. Stay in the open but do not get the feet damp nor be too much in the night air. But have plenty of air in the room when sleeping, or sleep in the open - provided the head and body are kept very warm.
37. Bathe often, and when this is done, rub the body thoroughly with Olive Oil; so that the body and the skin will absorb same - and the food from same will be an activative force through the body.
38. Do this and we find there may be help, there may be a great, great deal of work yet accomplished by this body.
39. Ready for questions.
40. (Q) How can I check slight hemorrhaging? (A) With the inhalations and the capsules. These conditions have all been taken into consideration.
41. (Q) How can I prevent severe pleurisy attacks? (A) Just as given, all of these are taken into consideration. When there is pain around the lower portion of the lung, bathe or massage (after the bath and the Olive Oil rub) thoroughly into the areas an equal combination of Mutton Suet, Turpentine and Camphor. Massage all the body will absorb of this. Do this once or twice a day, and we will have little trouble - with the other things - with the pleurisy or the pleural pains. Do those things as indicated, consistently, persistently; and in three to six weeks we will give further instructions.
