1. EC: Yes, we have the records here (it would appear to be spikes in 'em!) of that entity now known as or called Mr. [1561].
2. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, there apparently has been a great deal of change in the urges of the entity in the present; that is, the innate and natural urge is to be rather set, dictatorially set in matters that refer to political or social or the religious life.
3. Yet through study and application of the self in the present, changes have been undergone until the entity is rather inclined to be not TOO broad-minded nor too open-minded but the wonderful lesson of tolerance has been gained in this experience.
4. And these lessons, these experiences then make for greater opportunities, greater possibilities in the experiences and in the application of that as may be gained by the entity in the present.
5. For there were those periods in this sojourn when the entity was rather puritanical in its ideas as related to affairs or experiences of the nature as indicated.
6. In giving then the urges, and the activities of same - whether these refer to those latent and mental experiences as may apply from sojourns in the environs about the earth or the present sojourn, or whether from the entity's experiences through sojourns in the earth that find expression more in the emotional natures of the entity - these are given without consideration of what the entity has done ABOUT same in the present.
7. Thus we will find those as related to the astrological aspects have changed, yet there are other influences arising just as - through the various cycles of the activities in
1561-1 Page 2
the material planes - varied experiences or emotions from the sojourns in the material plane become active. Or according to choices made by individual entities, then they become as it were subject to influences of THIS direction; while if choices had been made in others they become subject to influences in THAT direction.
8. In giving then the astrological aspects, from the sojourns of the entity about the earth, we find Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus - all becoming a part of the experiences.
9. Hence we find, as has been indicated, but irrespective of the application:
10. One of high mental abilities. While it would require great EXPRESSIONS of activity to change its opinions - for it is inclined to be what some would call very hard-headed, or very set - these are as the natural urges. Not that they may not be changed, but these are such that it must be shown before there will be an altering of opinions; and very set opinions oft arise in all phases of the experience.
11. In Mercury also we find the inclinations for definite divisions of application of the mental self to material things - minerals and their attributes; that is, the EMOTIONS that arise in the experience from individuals in the variations, as might be said, of carbon; in its variations between coal and a diamond - they are the same, but one is under pressure, the other is with water!
12. Gold, silver, those things pertaining to the variations between uranium and radium and the effect of the various elements that would prevent the separations - all urges in these directions would arise from those experiences of the entity, INNATELY, in the Mercurian sojourn.
13. From Venus we find a very sympathetic nature; one very easily influenced by emotional self. Not of the nature that is other than the proper relationship, but of the nature where emotions arise from sympathies held. And these, at various experiences in the present sojourn, have been put to some rather severe tests. And these have been altered also in their application from the urges felt.
14. In the influences from Jupiter there is not so much a benevolent nature as the broadening of the entity's vision in its relationships to mental and spiritual truths.
15. And here is the source, as we find, from which those changes have been experienced in the present sojourn.
16. In Uranus we find not only an interest in the occult but in the mysterious and mystic. Beware rather of occult alone, or the mystic alone. Rather know that as to self, and self's relationships to same, these must be practical
1561-1 Page 3
experiences - and must be made practical applications.
17. This has made for extremes. Hence the extremes to which the entity [may] be, or go, as an aversion to or in sympathy with conditions; whether relating to material, mental or practical associations or spiritual imports.
18. These may make a great variation in the manner in which the entity may respond to influences about same, whether those that may be set from purely environmental or emotional or the deeper mental and spiritual forces.
19. As to the sojourns in the earth, these as we find - while those influencing the entity in the present periods of its development are not so great in number - are quite varied; and show the varied interests and emotional experiences of the entity in the present:
20. Before this we find the entity was among those of the forty-niners, during that period of the Gold Rush.
21. Then, as we find, the entity was a sojourner in the lands now known as Connecticut. And there is innately an urge for the entity to be in or to visit or to hold holdings in the New England land, or for the Puritan innate FEELINGS as to same.
22. But the entity journeyed with many others to the west coast, or to the lands of the present nativity.
23. And during those periods the entity, as one A. (or Andrew) Barrow, made for those activities in which many of those things were changed as in relationship to the lands, the holdings and the peoples as pertained to same.
24. For the entity reached the lands and became a power, an influence through those periods of activity in those days.
25. In the latter portion of that sojourn, the entity turned to greater political activity.
26. And as is experienced, there are in the present tendencies for the study or thought, or to give expression in those directions. Yet from the activities during those experiences, we will see - as from others, as well as from the astrological aspects - those things pertaining to metals, or mines, or interests in those directions should be - or are, NATURALLY - the activities of the entity in this experience.
27. In making the practical application in the present of that attained or gained through the experiences in that sojourn, we find that - from the very experience of the entity - from the very INNATE feelings arising, there are the means by which the directing of such metals or minerals or mines shall be naturally judged; from the material as well as the mental satisfaction; means and ways of locating or being satisfied with developments.
1561-1 Page 4
28. For when there is not that urge within the self for the satisfying, or the satisfactory feeling of the proper relationships, better be wary of same! For the innate self will indicate, does indicate - as from the very nature of the entity in its intensity, mentally and spiritually - as to whether or not conditions materially are satisfactory.
29. Be guided by that, then.
30. While these may vary a great deal as from the Uranian sojourn, the intenseness of the feeling as to that which will go wrong or go right in activities should be held by the entity. Such feelings are NOT merely being impressed, or a hunch, or purely spiritualistic. Rather they are the own soul expression or development. This is the better, and the channel through which EVERY entity should be guided. For "My spirit beareth witness with thy spirit" IS the channel through which all soul (and this means mental) development may come to an entity.
31. Before that we find the entity was in what is now known as the Promised Land, or the Palestine land, during those periods when there was the defense of the land against the Mohammedans or the followers of Allah and Mohammed as the prophet.
32. Yes, in the place called Sufisca (?) - the entity being among those now called the Mohammedan peoples, came in contact with those people from the English and French and German and other lands; or the Christian peoples.
33. For the entity entertained - not as a spy, yet not as one wholly determined as to which or what were its convictions during the experience.
34. And those periods of sojourn or contact with those of other lands, under the varied circumstances, brought much of not exactly turmoils mentally but satisfaction into those things which had been innately builded as a nomad or plainsman, or one not wholly convinced under the influences of that which had been accepted for impunity's sake in a spiritual or mental understanding.
35. In the latter portion of the life there were the interests of the entity in the pearl industry, in the Arabian Gulf and Persian Gulf - those were a part of the entity's activities; as well as the gold that - through the efforts of those associated with the entity - was found in or near the Arabian land, or close to Shuster - as it has recently been called. Sand mines these were, and there have been - innately - experiences of the entity opening these, in dreams or visions.
36. And that is why the pearls and the stereotomy and such activities have often been mixed or intermingled. Yet the
1561-1 Page 5
fires as of those visions have cleared much.
37. In the experience the entity materially gained, mentally advanced, SPIRITUALLY developed.
38. The application in the present is in the judgements of peoples, judgements of conditions whether these be in activities in any phase of human relationship. For it is natural for the entity to not merely pass judgement but in meeting individuals or groups, in any phase of the experience whether social, political, economic or what not, to turn over in the mind as to what the eventual outcome of the relationships with such a group might or would lead.
39. Before that we find the entity was in the Indian land, or the east Persian and portions of the Tibetan land, during those periods when the children of promise were in captivity; or the children of Zedekiah - as the entity was one of the sons of Zedekiah, the king carried into captivity.
40. During the experience the entity was a bondsman, or one in bonds; working with and in the fields of activity in mines, as pertained to the mines from which talc, paint, metals, precious stones were gathered - in a portion of what is now known as the Himalayas. And the entity gained, even under the periods of activity there.
41. The name then was Ezekel - not Ezekiel, but Ezekel; and was acquainted with the activities of the priests, even though being separated from the activities of many of its people.
42. From that sojourn the interests as may arise in the present experience of the entity are twofold; the dislike for mixtures of peoples of tongues or races; and those activities as to those who are the keepers, the finders of metals, stones or minerals or mines being - or the entity feels they should be - the users or the owners of same. There is the dislike of bondage, the dislike of authorities such as direct without a cause or purpose. Union of purpose or mind will arise from those experiences.
43. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were those separatings of the activities of the peoples, when there had been the coalitions made with the peoples from the Atlantean and the Abyssinian land, with the returning of the Priest and those activities of the Natives.
44. There the entity was then one who not only weighed the metals and the precious stones but aided in the directing of the mining and the use of same in the varied activities of the King in the experience. For there the entity was closely associated with the King when the activities were
1561-1 Page 6
turned in those directions for becoming a power through the possession not only of precious stones but the precious metal - as it has ever been.
45. The entity was among the first to make the golden caskets or the golden bands about those put into the burial chambers.
46. Then the name was Shufi-pun.
47. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
48. First, find thy ideal - mentally, spiritually, materially. We do not oft find these combined in one, save in those influences that have come as leaders, teachers or directors or ministers; and these are not ordinarily ideal with the material things as is the judgement of man in the present era or period. But know that each must be founded in that which is constructive in the experience of man.
49. In the mental and material - in those fields in which there are the dealings with mines or minerals of every nature, especially of gold or carbon or carbon content; these are a part of the material experiences of the entity.
50. In the mental - the study of the COMPARISONS of religious thoughts will offer ever not only a channel for self-expression but abilities to make a contribution to the needs of the mental and spiritual world.
51. For, "Know, O ye peoples, the Lord thy God is ONE!"
52. As in Body, Mind, Soul - so Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Or in whatever phase in which it becomes a three-dimensional experience, they must be one - coordinant, cooperative.
53. Lend thyself to teachings and ministerings in those fields of activity in which the consciousness of that truth may be spread abroad. These will offer fields of service, of activity in which peace, contentment and growth may be thy share in this experience.
54. Ready for questions.
55. (Q) Are any of the following properties suitable for my purposes and principles of operation: Collins California Gold Mine. [Owned by Leland C. Collins of Ceres, Calif., some 50 mi. easterly from Stockton, Calif.] (A) As has been indicated, rather - and more determined should be the entity that the answers of such should come within, or from within self. As we find, this just asked concerning is rather a good proposition; and correctly handled would produce satisfactory results.
56. (Q) White's Georgia Gold Mine. [Known as the Blake property, one of several owned or controlled by a Mr. W. A.
1561-1 Page 7
White in White Co., Ga., located near Cleveland, Ga.] (A) This is not an extensive but rather a valuable property; but is very much in a tangle in the present.
57. (Q) Banner Gold Mine, Montana. (A) A great lode, but hard to obtain.
58. (Q) Is there yet some unknown properties which I might operate? (A) There are many fields, of course, unknown as yet. But follow those leads and lines that are before thee. The greater lead for Silver is the Lost Sheep Mine in Arizona. [See 195-1 on 11/18/22. See 1561-3, Par. 20-A on 7/30/38. See 1561-1, Par. R10.]
59. (Q) Will my Philipsburg, Montana mining interests continue to be my ways and means for continuing activities? (A) For quite a while as yet; at least until '41 or 2.
60. (Q) Will I be able to pay off all my material debts? (A) Eventually. Do not let these worry you, as long as there are activities. [7/30/38 See 1561-3 regarding Montana interests.] Rather present the mental and spiritual self.
