1. GC: You will have before you the enquiring minds of Mr. [2091], and Mrs. [2174] of N.Y., and Mr. [2246] and Mr. [...] of Big Sandy, Tex., in regard to their interest in Carmerson Corp., which owns and holds leases on some three thousand acres of property located in Smith County, Texas, midway between Big Sandy in Upshur County and Winona in Smith County, with the Sabine River forming the Northern boundary of this property. You will answer the questions they have submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - this Corporation we have had before; together with the enquiring minds of the entities [2091], [2174], [2246] and [...].
3. As we find, as has been indicated, there is production of oil and gas in commercial quantities on this acreage, in Smith County, Texas.
4. In the last operations we find there should have been the proceeding to the greater depth for production; some less than 250 feet. This operation as we find, somewhat short of 6000 feet, was not in a formation indicating lack of production but that as would have indicated an associate of deeper production.
5. To be sure, owing to circumstances and conditions, it would be considered by most operators as a failure, and a test proving there was not production in commercial quantities in the sands that were passed through, in that area between the 5 and 6 thousand feet.
6. Yet, as we find, this will yet prove - this area will be considered, and will show through activities that there is to be oil and gas obtained in paying quantities.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) What are the present prospects of developing the oil holdings of the Carmerson Corp.? (A) As we find, the better prospects are for the sale or lease, with the prospects, or with the provisions that operations be begun at a specified time. These under the

existent circumstances would be the better means or manners of handling same, as we find; or the selling of same outright or the like. But the leasing, with the provisions that operations be carried on, should be the better prospect for the Corporation.
9. (Q) What should be our next step? (A) To consummate such as has been indicated; and this as we find is possible through some of those requests which have been made.
10. (Q) Can the well which was most recently drilled be made to produce, and by what method? (A) The BEST method, as we find, under the existent circumstance, would be to drill to the deeper sand. But as indicated, this had best be by the operations of those to whom the lands might be leased.
11. (Q) Should we approach the large oil companies for help or should we assign part of our land to a driller in return for a deep test? (A) As indicated, best to those who have approached for activities, see?
12. (Q) Should we consider the two offers now indicated through R. T. Myers of Tyler and George L. Marquess of Houston, or should we await future developments? (A) These are well to be considered, provided provisions are made and a time limit is set, see? As to which offer, this should be the choice of the Corporation.
13. (Q) Are there any other indications or warnings which we should follow or heed in connection with our activities? (A) These as we find, as indicated, are the better prospects and propositions for the Corporation.
14. (Q) Is there any basis for the statement made by Brokers now contacting Mr. [...] and Dr. [2246] in Texas, that there is a deep structure of high gas-distillate productivity, but of comparatively small area, which covers only a part of Carmerson Plantation, on which property Carmerson Corp. drilled its last well? (A) As we find, it covers the greater part of same, and it will be proven sometime that this is true.
15. (Q) This information supposedly comes from geological maps of the Major Oil Companies. If so, can this structure be located more accurately, and its boundaries outlined, and depth of producing horizon indicated? (A) As outlined, best that this be done through the manners indicated for the location of such - for the best activities of the Corporation.
16. (Q) Is there oil at the lower level below the

Georgetown Lime, and at what location would it be best to drill for the deeper production? (A) As indicated, at the level indicated for the recent operations, see?
17. We are through for the present. Copy to Mr. [2091] and Mr. [2246] " " Ass'n file
