Time of Reading At home, 12:10 to 12:20 P. M. Eastern War Time. Cincinnati, Ohio.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes - right cold! We have the body, Miss [1567]; this we have had before.

3. As we find the body is exhausted in a manner and is not too easy in the distresses that come from lack of proper relaxations, improper activity in general; though this is more acute in the present.

4. While the applications formerly suggested here have been only partially carried out, we would suggest that there be relaxations through hydrotherapy. These should include Fume Baths with witchhazel and Lavender; a teaspoonful of witchhazel and ten drops of Oil of Lavender in the pint of water that would be boiling in the Cabinet so that the fumes would settle over the body. This should be a part of the Bath; that is, the fumes of these boiled in a croup cup or an open cup in the dry Cabinet for the body.

5. Such a Cabinet sweat or Fume Bath would be followed by the Bubble Bath with the pine oils in same.

6. Then have a thorough massage.

7. Do this about once a week or once in ten days.

8. After the second hydrotherapy treatment, do begin with osteopathic adjustments as we have indicated and we will relieve these tensions throughout the body.

9. Keep these treatments at irregular intervals and we will keep the body in a much better condition.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Why are osteopathic adjustments so painful? (A) Lack of proper ability to relax, owing to the great tensions that exist through parts of the body, especially when the circulation is taut to the head and face - these bring a great tension on the body. If these are relaxed thoroughly by the hydrotherapy treatments before beginning

the osteopathy, we find that there will be a greater response. In the osteopathic treatment, do not attempt to stimulate but to relax the body. It should be then much easier; not so deep but longer in the period of relaxing the body.

12. (Q) What is the exact cause of head pain after sleeping? (A) This is partially the posture and partially the pressures through the body.

13. (Q) Why is it unwise to take alcohol or sedatives? (A) And still complaining about the abdominal areas and asking such a question! These are painful to the activity of the spleen and to the liver; thus in their activity through the system cause distresses to the body.

14. (Q) What causes muscular stiffness which grows worse daily? (A) Lack of circulation. Hence the necessity of the type of relaxation indicated; not only in the osteopathic treatments but in the hydrotherapy and massage. While the body is resting after the massage, which it should do from twenty to thirty minutes at least, give the body the Ultra-Violet Light - with the Green Light projected between the Ultra-Violet and the body; for the healing effect that such, which in color and in radiation of the light, has upon the body-forces.

15. (Q) What will improve scar which causes pain in chin? (A) Camphorated Oil, with occasionally carbolated Vaseline. This should be put on before the oil is rubbed in.

16. (Q) What causes swelling in abdomen? (A) This needs the hydrotherapy, including a colonic irrigation to thoroughly remove the poisons from the colon. Follow these and we will find better conditions for this body.

17. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Self - (one for Dr. H. J. Reilly, R.C.C. Bldg., 1250 6th Ave., N.Y.C., who will be able to give you the hydrotherapy treatments as suggested) Copy to Ass'n file
