R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 10:40 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes.
2. Now, as we find, the disturbances that prevent the normal activity have advanced to the stage where only some relief or aid may be given.
3. These things which we would suggest would only quiet for a while. And it is necessary that there be continued those administrations under the direction of the physician, in order that there be any rest for the body (we refer, to be sure, to the sedatives or hypnotics).
4. But, as we find, the basis or cause arises from conditions that existed in the physical force of the body as related to the genitive system; and disturbances there that wrecked, as it were, the coordination between the nervous system and the ability for the controlling of same.
5. Hence we have a paralysis agitans; and these effects of same have gradually increased.
6. Then, we would give only a compound for massaging the body, which will require the consistent and persistent activity of someone else - for the relief of the body at all!
7. To 1/2 gallon of Pure Gasoline (not colored), add: Camphor Gum...........1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood.....1 ounce.
8. Massage this combination in the back, or on the back, once each day; especially across the lumbar, the sacral and on up to the shoulders.

9. This would not only rest the body but make for an easing of the tendencies for the agitans.
10. As we find, these applications offer the greater help for this body, [1571].
11. These massages, though, must not be done haphazardly. Precautions, too, of course, must be taken - in that the compound is inflammatory, and is not just to be smacked on, but time and patience should be taken in giving the massage.
12. It would be preferable, of course, to give the massage in the evening, but it may be given any time. Once a day it will be very helpful.
13. Only a small quantity of the compound would be required at the time, for not all of it is to be used at one period, you see. Put a little into a saucer, and massage just what the body will absorb. Of course, the camphor and the oil are absorbed by the activity of the gasoline upon the body.
14. This will not tend to irritate or raw, if the body is cared for properly.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) And what is being used should be continued? (A) Continue, as has been given.
17. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - through Mrs. [2521] " " Ass'n file " " Mr. Douglas T. Johnston
