Born July 17, 1910, in Duluth, Minnesota. Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: ("Yes - what a funny record - so many skips!")
2. We have the records here, Mr. [1574] (so unusual!).
3. In giving the interpretations as we find of the records, these that are given are chosen - those appearances in the earth, and activities - from which there may be drawn that which if applied in the present sojourn may make for greater spiritual and soul development.
4. For these records are drawn from the Book of Life. The records one makes are written upon the skein of time and space.
5. Hence only in patience and in endurance may an individual use those tools - yes, those inclinations and tendencies - he has builded in his activities through the sojourns in the earth.
6. While the interims of sojourn between the earthly incarnations have their influence, they are more of the innate nature and only become the greater influence as the changes or periods or cycles of change become a part of the experience of each entity.
7. Then it behooves each and every entity to make a choice as to his material application, as to the position or direction in which his mental and material efforts may be expended - and such should ever be of a constructive nature.
8. For if the expenditures are for self or self-indulgence alone, little of soul development may be gained - or the fulfilling of purposes for which an entity or soul enters an experience.
9. Then the astrological aspects, as intimated for this entity, will come rather as in cycles or periods. As has been seen by the entity, those periods when the greater emotions were manifesting in the material experience of the entity, as from desires in spiritual directions or of creative influences, were in the seventh, fourteenth,
1574-1 Page 2
twenty-first - and will be in the twenty-eighth - years.
10. Hence the entity will find in this present year, or part of this year - of course, this begins about the middle of May and will extend until along in July of 1939 - there will be great emotional changes; as there were at the age of twenty-one.
11. These periods lap over from one year to the next, you see; not just exactly one year, but months and days and weeks lapping over at the beginning or ending of each cycle change.
12. But these for this entity are rather definite, and will be seen if there is the analysis of the determining factors the entity has chosen in its activities in this experience.
13. From the astrological aspects we find then Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus. All of these as we find have manifested or do manifest an influence in the experience.
14. As we find from Uranus, the entity is often called an extremist. Sometimes it is very cold and matter of fact. Again it is very sympathetic and very much given to sentiment. And really in heart the entity is an emotional, sentimental individual; and in relationships to the companion or to those of its own house it is well that this be cultivated; else the Uranian influences may become rather as the stumbling-stones for the entity. For, from the natural inclinations of these extreme conditions that arise at periods, it will be hard enough to get along with those who are in duty held to the entity, and in the marital relations, much less business relations. For we find DIFFERENCES as to opinions arise.
15. Hence such an emotional-sentimental influence should be cultivated; not as mere sentiment, but rather as affection, as love in its true or broader sense in all of the activities should be an expression of the entity - if it would gain.
16. From Mercury there will be the high mental activity. And, without bad associations, the entity will succeed in any undertaking in which there is the lending of itself to its fullest extent.
17. In all probability, unless there is a reaction through the entity's wrath or its joining is some unusual undertaking, the entity during this experience will have a great deal of earthly or material things.
18. All things of beauty attract the entity, as from the high mental influence - or those things of the nature that are not only beautiful but are good FOR something, rather than those things that are inanimate except for beauty in itself. To the entity those things are beautiful that are
1574-1 Page 3
practical and applicable in the experience; as would be a beautiful instrument, a beautiful building, a beautiful car or boat or the like. All such have greater attraction than a sunset or a rose or the smile of a child or those things.
19. Not that there is not sentiment or the love of the beauty, as indicated, but the deeper feelings are found in those things that have an actual material value in the experience or associations for the use or convenience of individuals, or men.
20. Hence we find that tendency or inclination for the practicability, and for the coldness that at times may appear in the experiences.
21. In Venus, as well as in Jupiter, we find there are the abilities in the directions for drawing, writing of the natures that would be description to the entity of what he would LIKE or would NOT like life to be. In the writing of such we find that the abilities would be the EXTREMES, or in those highest ideals or those fartherest from what the entity would desire to attract to itself.
22. These arise INNATELY, and - as has been indicated - periods of sevens will be the cycles when these activities would better be undertaken, or changes made in activities, associations or relations.
23. As to the sojourns of the entity in the earth's plane, we find - as from most of those who have such an unusual experience or development, through the Atlantean - these are rather far apart, and are rather few as to numbers; yet these draw upon the very activities of the entity. No, the entity doesn't draw from THEM, but THEY draw upon the entity! and hence become impelling forces as it were at times in the very activities of the entity. And to apply the abilities of self from those activities IN the former earthly sojourns and make them applicable in the activities under the present day environs becomes rather the job as it were of the entity.
24. But as has been indicted, know there must be first the ideals; in the mental world, in the spiritual world, in the material world. And as the entity fits itself and its associations with others, know these laws DO NOT vary. You are what you are because of what you have done ABOUT your choices of creative and destructive influences in your experiences!
25. What you sow, that you will reap.
26. As you do unto others, so may you expect others to see, judge and do unto you.
27. All the more reason then, as these are applicable in your experiences, that your choices of ideals be those that
1574-1 Page 4
are creative in EVERY direction.
28. As to the appearances, then:
29. Before this we find the entity was in the Roman land during those periods when there were the activities of the Caesars.
30. And the entity was associated with a very active figure in those early portions of the gaining of associations and activities in other lands.
31. For the entity was an associate of Mark Anthony.
32. Hence Egypt, Greece, Persia, the Pyrenees lands - yes, even portions of the Briton lands - became a part of the entity's experiences. And the activities in those were to gather data concerning the activities under the varied environs, that might be made applicable in the experiences of those who would not only further the cause of the government as a government but for the conveniences of the people.
33. Thus in the present by a vision of a drawing, or by a tale or story, the entity gathers together and depicts in itself how all of such things act, and how they that do such must react to this or that experience in their lives.
34. The entity becomes a natural analyst.
35. But do not become a judge of others without knowing THEIR environ and THEIR reaction, THEIR lives. For if you would not be judged, then judge not others. Remember those laws that have been indicated.
36. However, from that sojourn the entity in the present has the ability to see things as from a glance that become very practical and very applicable in the experience or use of the entity; rather than having to pour over or study such.
37. To be sure, facts and figures, the lay of the land, landscaping, all such are an undeveloped influence or urge in the experience of the entity in the present from that particular sojourn.
38. The name then was Esh-Lotho.
39. Also from that sojourn the entity has in the present an urge as to particular kinds of crafts; which is latent, but more and more will become a part of the present experience as we find.
40. Before that we find the entity was in the Persian land, or a portion of what is now India and Persia.
41. It was during those periods when under Nebuchadnezzar there were the activities of the peoples in the Palestine land, when the peoples were carried away captive, and when there was a ransacking of the Jewish peoples - and when other lands, too, sought the activities of same.
42. There we find the entity was not so much the soldier (as
1574-1 Page 5
with Anthony - while THEN not the soldier so much) as the judge of that which might be used.
43. Thus there again we find the entity, in the various lands that were overrun by the soldiery of the period, acted in the capacity to judge as to who and what might be taken; not as mere loot but as a helpful experience to those who would carry or claim same with their belongings.
44. There the entity then dealt rather with the buildings and the activities of peoples as related to their associations with same; or that had to do with the creating of those things that made for the mediums of exchange during those experiences.
45. All of these were a part of the entity's activities.
46. The name then was Esdecra, and the entity gained; for the judgements as drawn were ever for constructive influence in the experience of his own peoples, but there was not the lack of feeling for the hardships of those who were dispossessed, or whose lands, homes and very activities were being changed by those peoples whom the entity served.
47. In the present from those very activities we will find things that are unusual, that are of the natures partaking of unusual circumstances and activities as it were, will fall into the hands of the entity - or are presented by those who are friends or associates of the entity.
48. And the entity is asked to pass judgement upon trinkets or such things that are of real value in the experiences of others.
49. Hence those very characters of things may become a basis for many a yarn the entity may be able to write to advantage, for not only the material gains but for the helpful suggestions.
50. For know, it is not the great deeds one performs that make for the building of hope in the hearts and minds of those you meet, nor the mere satisfaction of a self-aggrandizing experience; but it is that which CREATES hope - that which makes for the expression of patience, longsuffering, grace, mercy and truth! THESE are the things that build into the hearts of men, EVERYWHERE, harmony and peace and hope!
51. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, as now called.
52. There the entity was among those who were the Atlanteans that came into Egypt.
53. The entity was young in years when brought in, and of the household - and the son - of Ax-Tell; being of those Atlanteans who made for such great changes in the conditions and affairs and the peoples in the land.
1574-1 Page 6
54. Hence we find the entity then was a supervisor over the granaries, the storehouses of gold, the storehouses for the precious stones, the divisions of those things that were to go to those in power or authority for the sustaining of the land, and for the propagation and distribution of knowledge as might be of a helpful nature.
55. Then entity, then, was in the position of what would be called the engineer in the broader sense. Not only the engineer in being able to lay out the lands, the construction of bridges and viaducts and ships and things or activities that made for the preservation of same, but in the holy things - or in the building of the altars in the Temple of Sacrifice and in the Temple Beautiful.
56. Then the name was Ax-Entol.
57. As to the abilities of the entity in the present from those experiences there, we find: Those activities as the builder, the engineer, the CONSTRUCTIVE forces in material things become a part of the entity's experience.
58. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land during those periods when there were the activities which later brought about the second upheaval in the land.
59. There the entity was rather the electrical engineer, as would be called in the present. For the entity applied those influences and forces of the nature for the directing of airplanes, ships, and what you would today call radio in the form that might be used for destruction as well as for constructive forces.
60. For those were a portion of the entity's activities, as En-Duxol.
61. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
62. How high the entity attains, physically, mentally, financially, will depend upon the application of self.
63. As to how it may attain socially or spiritually, again it depends upon how well the entity keeps itself in the mental forces where his activities are never for the condemning of self or others.
64. For without condemnation, or without condemning of others, the MENTAL - which is the builder - will ever attain to constructive forces in the experience.
65. In the present filed of activity, and in the addition of writing such as pertaining to those things indicated, we find there are the abilities for attaining material gains, mental satisfaction - and all for the constructive forces.
66. For it is with what spirit you direct that governs how much force is given that you say or do.
67. Ready for questions.
1574-1 Page 7
68. (Q) As far as my work is concerned, would I be better off making a change from the firm I am now employed by? [... Inc., N.Y.C.] (A) As we find, a material change would not be the better in the present. While there is a great diversion as to the applying of abilities, it is a growth. Add rather the faculty of those things indicated in the mental, the social relationships; and develop the abilities of writing.
69. (Q) Would my marriage to a Miss [...], N.Y., be in harmony with that which has been laid out for me to become a part of? (A) This would become a question. As we find, if there is set the determination to develop the emotions as indicated in these directions, well. Otherwise, it will lead to a period of distraughtness.
70. (Q) What trend of thought or tangible plan must I follow to rest myself at ease mentally so that I may remove ever-present doubts and apprehensions as to the future? (A) As indicated, in those fields of service that bring to others a hope and an understanding - though you may do it in fictions or in fun. And as you study for this, not only the assurance for the material conditions but for the mental and spiritual forces will be aroused to activity. Hold to that as given; first, know thy ideals, and the author of them - and whether they are able to keep that ye may commit unto them in any condition. This brings the greater assurance and must be, as has been indicated, of SPIRITUAL inception. For, good alone lives.
