Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes.
2. Now as we find, for some time there has been the inclination or tendency for a decline in the physical forces of this body.
3. The applications that have been made for the relief of the pressure and tensions that have existed have not gotten at the seat of the trouble.
4. We find that the upsetting of the digestive forces and the eliminations, the inclinations for neuritic and arthritic reactions through the body, the slowing up of the superficial circulation, the tendency for the body to be very bad in color and in the abilities for activities, all of these have combined to make for disturbing conditions through the system.
5. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [1578] we are speaking of:
6. THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this indicates toxic forces, as well as an inclination for a disturbance through the heart's circulation as related to the liver and the digestive system.
7. These characters of disturbance in the applications have made for much of other disturbances through the assimilating system.
8. Hence we find a lack of blood energies through the system itself. Thus there are the indications for the body to become baggy, or to have folds in portions of the system itself; as the conditions under the eyes, the chin, and portions of the body throughout.
9. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find the involvement through pressures from poisons upon portions of the body-functionings themselves.
10. THE ORGANS OF THE SYSTEM, we find that the pressures as indicated make for organic disturbances through the liver, as related to the circulation and assimilation; the

pancreas, and the ELIMINATING system.
11. All of these as we find become disturbed through the very character and nature of the conditions.
12. AS WE FIND, THEN, IN MAKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE HELPFUL FORCES FOR THIS BODY:
13. We would have rather the hydrotherapy treatments and reactions, with a very careful check as to the effect of respiration activities (that is, the heart); as related to the Vapor Baths - especially with Pine Oil or the combination of Pine Oil and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Do not raise the temperature to such an extent as to AFFECT the heart's circulation, see? Hence the Vapor Baths or Steam would be preferable to the Dry Heat, see?
14. Also we would have the massage and the corrections that go with such hydrotherapy treatments. We would take these about once a week.
15. And during the same period, but after the hydrotherapy treatment and massage, we would take the electrical treatments that make for the high current in the gentle massage as made over portions of the system, as to stimulate the superficial circulation.
16. With such hydrotherapy treatments it is also well that there be occasionally the cleansing of the colon, for the removal of poisons and accumulations.
17. Rather than the corrections being made osteopathically, they should be made rather by the masseur or the hydrotherapist; but be sure, as indicated, that the hydrotherapy treatments are given under the supervision of one acquainted with conditions and that precautions are taken regarding the heart's activity and the circulation between liver, lungs and heart especially, when heat is being applied for CLEANSING or purifying the system of the poisons and accumulations that have been a part of the disturbance.
18. Then, in the matter of the diet, there should be kept a well balanced diet between those foods that are acid and alkalin-producing. But beware of fried foods; do not take these at any time, nor those that are too highly seasoned with condiments.
19. Wine - red wine - in the late afternoon or evening - is very well as a food, but no alcoholic drinks AS drinks, see?
20. Citrus fruit juices of mornings are well, but do not combine these with cereals or any quantities of starches at the same meal.
21. And as we find, if these are kept, we will eliminate those disturbing forces and bring a much nearer normal condition.

22. To be sure, there will be periods when the body will respond quickly; but there must be precautions taken as to activities in every manner - as to being out in damp weather, as to undue exercise or too quick a rushing up or down steps, or undue excitement.
23. But if these are kept consistently and persistently, we will find much better conditions for this body, [1578].
24. Ready for questions.
25. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
