1. EC: Yes, as have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1581].
2. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find here, these as we find are rather unusual. It is rather an interesting experience to vision or become a portion of the records, as is necessary to attempt to give the interpretation.
3. We find it would be well for many to listen to many of these, for in some instances they come as warnings for those things that may become temptations to the entity; especially in drink, especially in those things in which there might be the temptation to use the influences and powers for personal and material benefits.
4. The visions and the dreams, the abilities to hear, see, feel environmental influences or forces - by the least of the elemental influences that record or sound upon the consciousness of the entity - are to be taken seriously.
5. And if they are applied in the directions for constructive forces, as the abilities lie for the entity, either in the writing or in the music, these may become so unusual as to make for that in which the entity may be called the genius, the protege, because of the activities that are as a portion of the abilities from unseen influences.
6. Hence the interpretations as we draw from here will be the attempt to make these as constructive experiences for the entity; and for those who may direct, not by might or power but by reason and precept and example. For there may be created a material environment in the present in which those activities, those choices that are made for service may be for constructive experiences of the entity. Also these may become the more helpful influence to bring hope, and patience, and a knowledge of the relationships of man to
1581-1 Page 2
Creative Forces in the experiences in a material world.
7. The entity is inclined to be rather the arguer, though visionary in that as may be presented - yet these are reckoned from the experiences of the entity in its mental self.
8. Hence the necessity of using love, patience, forbearance and longsuffering in the DIRECTING of that as would be the change of the mind of the entity through especially the next two or three, yes four years.
9. Then there will be those periods, in the nineteenth and twentieth and twenty-first years, when there will be much need of the entity's having had that background for the shaping of the self into that activity in which - as the writer or musician, or both - it may give, and yet find, that stability, that harmony within the experience as to make this a constructive sojourn throughout.
10. As we find, these are rather those that may be said to be innate urges in the experience - but irrespective of how these may be applied in the present. These are the combination of the urges rather from the astrological aspects as well as the mental and material sojourns of the entity.
11. There needs to be kept that of a purposefulness before the entity at all times, and an ideal that is founded in spiritual things. For, though the entity has been a minister often, those things having to do with the NATURE such as story writing or music, or both, will be the appealing things to the entity; rather than the attempts to be one engaged in the trade of any kind.
12. Hence as the professional writer, or as the professional musician, or both, the greater experiences may come for the entity, and the greater gains; and the channels through which the entity may aid the others whom the entity contacts - and still draw upon those influences that are the stamina of the entity if it will but take hold on same.
13. To be sure, these will offer channels through which the weaknesses of the entity also may be expressed; as in relationship to the associations of the nature that make for rather the loose manner of living, the looseness about much that would be of a moral nature; yet these are the tests through which the entity must pass if it will become well-grounded in constructive forces in the present sojourn.
14. Astrologically, we find Jupiter not altogether as a benevolent influence; yet that making for the associations or inclinations in the directions of having the activities with masses, rather than with individuals. And yet it must be individual activity of the self, with the thought and
1581-1 Page 3
purpose OF constructive experiences in the relationships of the individuals or groups or masses whom the entity may contact.
15. In Mercury, as combined with Venus, we find the easy, the jolly nature; the desire for ease and those things that make for pleasant experiences becoming a portion of the experience of the entity. And from the same we find those inclinations to be moody and morose at times will arise. Hence these become the conflicting influences or forces from the astrological aspects that may turn to be temptations for the entity in this experience or sojourn.
16. We find from the Uranian activities the abilities as related to the occult; and these must be tempered in those directions that they come not from the outside influences. The influences from the outside are helpful, but are to be kept in their relationships with the Creative Forces.
17. For the entity itself is psychic in the very nature of the experiences during the earth's sojourns; dealing with and in those periods with things that take hold upon the influences in which the activities are of the mental and of the spiritual natures.
18. As to the earthly sojourns, then, we find these are quite varied in their aspects. Some we find very far apart, others rather close; yet all bearing as it were a part of that activity as related to the present.
19. For they come as influences through the urges that manifest physically in the emotions of the entity.
20. Before this we find the entity was in the eastern portion of the land of the present nativity, during the activities just before and partly during the Salem experience in that called the Massachusetts land.
21. The entity was a minister, Howard Willoughby; but Will-ough-by with a hyphen between - as always written by the entity in that experience.
22. And the entity was active in those influences which prompted the activities there; for, of course, the entity was among those who journeyed to the land from other shores.
23. The entity was very tense in presenting those promptings that caused the individuals to come to a land wherein there might be the preserving of those promptings which made individuals seek to worship, in their religious associations, in specific and definite manners.
24. Hence rote and routine will be natural with the entity, if these are trained, directed, environed for them to be natural - whether in the writing or in the music.
25. For in each for this entity, as well as in the experiences of most, it is the practice in those directions
1581-1 Page 4
that brings rather the expressions of the abilities, and allows the drawing upon the unseen influences and forces.
26. Know ever that the unseen are the greater influences and forces of this individual, as well as of most all others!
27. For the entity, while making for that realization, may realize that there is not the necessity for the materialization of those influences or forces from without for them to become very practical, very real in the experience.
28. For thoughts are things; just as the Mind is as concrete as a post or tree or that which has been molded into things of any form. And with their working abilities they may give to each of these purpose and activity that becomes constructive in the experience of all.
29. And this should be the purpose, this should be the training of the entity during these formative periods - kept in those directions as has been indicated.
30. Not so much in things that are of the nature such as the activities of the minister in the experience may indicate, from the present feelings or emotions that arise from such.
31. For the entity in those experiences presented rather the figure such as those who are in the present day the real missionaries among those of quite a different thought or background or environ or hereditary environ.
32. The entity gained, and the entity may apply much of those urges as arise in the present; especially in the abilities to meet those activities in others by the thought and judgment of self, rather than in the judgment of others.
33. For as ye mete to others, there is given the expression or the building within self of that which motivates thy own activities.
34. Before that we find the entity was in the land of promise, as known, during those periods when the Master walked in the earth.
35. The entity then was among those of the priesthood, and closely associated or affiliated with the activities of Zacharias.
36. And the entity was the one who announced, by the blowing of the ram's horn, the various services or activities in the temple when there were the morning and evening periods for the sacrifice; when there were the announcings of those various periods when the offerings might be accepted by the priesthood activity - or those who acted in the capacity of the sacrificial priests at the altars.
37. Hence the entity knew much of those experiences of John and the activities as connected with same, as also of those activities in the temple when the child Jesus was presented
1581-1 Page 5
before the priests - as was necessary under the Jewish law.
38. Again we find ritual and those things pertaining to the mental or spiritual conditions and experiences becoming a portion of the entity's whole activities during that sojourn.
39. The name then was Xaneres - yes, a Grecian; for the entity was of those activities that were of the pure household of the children of Judah but who had been taking on other names in their activities for the preservations of those activities of the Perthenians as well as the Samaritans and those particularly who had accepted the Jewish tenets through the study of those things of that particular sect of same called the Essenes.
40. Hence we find, though the entity held himself in good repute with the rest of the leaders through those periods of service, there were the acquaintances with all of those mysterious influences that were given as a portion of the reasons for the coming of the Wise Men and their teachings, as well as the educational values and activities in the experiences of John and of Jesus to become teachers or leaders in and during that experience:
41. Hence we will find oft in the present experience of the entity the abilities to use diplomatic activities, the inclinations to be rather secretive and to give expression to those things that will lead or direct others to think one way or in a given direction to lead away from the very activities of the entity itself.
42. These may be made to be constructive, yet will draw ever as a part of the experience those natures that may become stumblingblocks.
43. Hence sincerity must ever be the keynote for the entity's activities, whether in relationship to word or activities or the determining factors in choices made as to associations or in every nature of the developing individual.
44. Before that we find the entity was among those peoples in the land known as Og, or in those periods when the Mongoloid land made such an influence upon those of the east coasts of that particular land. That, of course, was many years after the height of those in the land, or in the City of Gold.
45. But the entity was among those who attempted to revive the power and influence which that land had experienced.
46. Hence the entity was then one who went about as a representative of those in authority or power, to stir up the people to thoughts and regulations as pertained to the dwelling and living upon the relationships to those who had
1581-1 Page 6
been in authority; and from which much has grown in that particular land (not so materially manifested in other lands) as to the relationship of the living to the dead.
47. In the experience, as Timon, the entity made advancements in the use of music to attract the activities of the body to make for those things that would be the representation of the individual emotions.
48. And the abilities to speak and to write, from that experience, may become a portion of the entity's activities in the present sojourn; as regarding those natures of things that impel peoples of various lands, localities or vicinities to be held in abeyance by the activity or authority of ones who are not as rulers, not as political powers, not even as spiritual divines, but who have such an influence by the very force and power of the spirit of truth in the actions and lives of those that do direct such groups, such societies, such communities.
49. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were the activities of the Priest and the King for the setting up of those principles through which there was the purifying of the body for the preservation of activities, in which the greater mental and physical beings or individuals might be brought into activity; and when there were the preparations being made for those.
50. These were a portion of the entity's activities. For the entity then was in the Temple Beautiful, and among those chosen for service in which there might be brought those of the new generation into activity.
51. These made for periods of wreckage or of gaining in the abilities through the experience.
52. The name then was She-Put-Tun.
53. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, as has been indicated:
54. In those fields as a writer, or a musician, or a combination of these, may there be offered the greater opportunities for development in the present sojourn. In the music - not stringed instruments, but rather the horn or those natures of same, or the reed.
55. In these channels may the entity become not only mentally and morally but SPIRITUALLY a guiding light!
56. But beware of those things that so easily beset; making sure through the keeping of body and mind purposeful in its associations for the GOOD of that in thine own experience, as for the good and betterment of all those whom the entity may serve.
57. For in this direction and in these channels, as we find,
1581-1 Page 7
may the entity now known as [1581] become one of power, one of fame - yea, one of fortune.
58. Ready for questions.
59. (Q) Is St. Bernard's the proper school for him for another year? If not, what school do you recommend in or outside of N.Y. City? (A) As we find, with the proper directing at home, the St. Bernard school is very well - for another year.
60. (Q) What qualifications are inherent that should be cultivated at this time? (A) As indicated, in the fields of music and in the abilities of writing.
61. (Q) What suggestions will you give toward their cultivation? (A) As indicated. These are not to be as bonds, but as reasoning with, as working with the abilities; knowing they are in those directions. And soon it would become, as indicated, rote for the entity. It requires some patience, it requires some understanding - but these will, directed aright, bring fruits worthy of the service that it may require.
62. (Q) What are his weaknesses and specifically, how can they be overcome or aided? (A) As has been indicated.
63. (Q) What advice do you offer in bringing up this child? (A) As indicated. In those directions and those trainings as given.
64. (Q) Can you guide him in interpreting the beautiful visions containing the same or similar symbols? (A) There are innate within each soul the abilities to interpret that visioned in the line of the THOUGHT of expression. Then, as the music and the writing are the natural channels in which they may be interpreted in the mind and the heart and the soul of self, it is in self that the interpretation comes - and these channels offer means and manners for same. They are not as things that are for others, but only for others in MAKING the entity give expression, building in the entity that which gives an outlet!
65. We are through for the present.
66. The symbol of the entity is the lotus, with the capstone the same as above the Egyptian Sphinx.
