1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1587].
2. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, it is with the desire that they may be helpful in the experience of the entity in the present.
3. And these are to enable the entity to become aware more and more that the experiences of consciousness, in the various phases of man's existence, are continuous.
4. For as an individual entity arises each day from physical rest, or from physical unconsciousness to the new opportunities of each day, just so may an entity take those experiences through the various periods of sojourn in the earth - or those realms of consciousness and activity attained in those environs during the interims between the earthly sojourns - as the basis upon which to build in the present.
5. The entity may use those influences thus created to build upon; correcting here and there. Or, as the call has ever been, "Harken! For the day of the Lord is at hand - make thy paths straight!"
6. There are those urges that have been builded as influences in the present, then - but irrespective of what the entity may do or how it may use these; for the will ever is the deciding factor. Hence, these are given as the urges only:
7. The entity is inclined to make the moral and religious life a separate thing entirely from the material existences or experiences. But as the body, the mind and the soul are one - manifesting as an entity in this particular instance known as or called [1587] - so is every phase of experience one. And every phase must be made practical, applicable in the experiences and in the dealings with the fellow man.
8. Hence the entity has been too quick oft to judge others,
1587-1 Page 2
because of not being in accord with some particular phase of the entity's desire to impel others to become in the same thought as self.
9. Too oft the entity has been too quick to draw conclusions. Thus, allowing the influences of those that would USE their fellow men as stepping-stones for the gratifying of their own personal desires or urges, such activities have caused at times a great deal of disturbance.
10. The entity is naturally inclined to be in a way and manner in which it may become a good business associate, a good business man, as it were; capable of becoming a good salesman in any field in which the entity may choose to act - if it will but make all phases of the experience as one.
11. For as the entity sows, so must it reap.
12. Know that while these urges are existent, or the influences are created because of what the entity has applied from the astrological and material sojourns, the will can and may change any of these; will, that which is the heritage of each soul, in its associations with its Creator.
13. Thus does the hope of eternal life, the hope that is innate within, spring ever anew within the human breast. For ONLY in man is there the existence of the soul that is not just universal, but individual; capable of becoming as a god, as one with the Creative Forces.
14. Hence in its associations and experiences with others it may make for that activity in which it may leave hope, not for self-aggrandizement, not for self-effacement only, but as cooperating with the creative influences and forces that are within the experience of each and every soul.
15. Thus the entity may build the world, the consciousness, the plane of experience as a more apt, a more congenial and a more hopeful place in which others may live.
16. A man may not gain the whole world without losing his own soul in SOMETHING! If it is losing it in self, as to build for fame and fortune for the force or power it may use over others, or for the gratifying of self, then this must fade away.
17. If it is losing it in that the creative forces and hopes that make men unafraid, that make men desirous of giving cheer to those who are weary, of bringing new hope into the experience of those who are heartbroken, of bringing strength into the experience of those who are weak - giving them strength for a new endeavor, then - in these and such - there is built in the experience of each and every soul that which makes for the creation and the appreciation of the joy of living.
1587-1 Page 3
18. For Life is the expression of the Father-God, the Creative Force itself; and he that becomes unappreciative of the OPPORTUNITIES has indeed turned his face upon the light, and only shadows can be the outlook of such.
19. In the astrological aspects we find conflicting influences indicated, that have been nourished or fed by the activities of the entity in Mars and Saturn, as well as Jupiter and Venus, and Uranus.
20. Thus we find anger; thus we find what others have called - in the entity's activity - pure devilishness has brought about changes, has brought about experiences.
21. For the entity has nourished these, rather than those abilities to meet same in the benevolent forces of Jupiter, in the associations of the many in which the activities in unison with any influence of business or physical associations may make for a helpful force in the minds, hearts and experiences of all.
22. The entity is naturally inclined to be temperamental, as influenced by the Uranian influence. Hence at times the entity becomes very hilarious over those forces that may be not seen by others, even of its associates. And at other times the entity may become very remorseful over experiences which its associations or companions or associates would insist were for a period of awakening and joy.
23. Yet in Venus we find a sympathetic nature, a desire to be loved, on the part of the entity; not as merely material love, but to be friends.
24. Then as the old law is: If you would have friends, be friendly. If you would have patience shown you, show patience to others.
25. Cultivate rather the influences that may become constructive, without the thoughts of material gains that may be yours.
26. For peace, harmony, things that are known as material gains must be the result of honest effort, honest desire in the direction of being creative in relationships to others; rather than the result of getting while there is the ability for it to be obtained without thought of the source - for this can only bring canker and rust and those things that create fear in the minds and experiences of others.
27. As to the appearances also in the earth, we find these while not great in numbers that influence the entity in the present are quite varied in aspect.
28. Thus we find, as has been indicated, the entity's abilities in the fields of the commercial world, in the abilities of sales - or activities in which there are to be the creative influences for helpfulness in the exchange of
1587-1 Page 4
commodities from one portion of the land to the needs of those in others.
29. We find these are the fields in which the entity may gain the greater outlet for the emotions and abilities, and for the activities to bring harmonious experiences in the present sojourn.
30. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present sojourn, during those periods when there was the great amount of trading done with those of various portions of the land; among the natives and the early settlers of portions of the land - in skins, furs, characters of wood, and things that were made for the healing arts of the day for the individuals.
31. The entity then was among those associated with great organizations that gathered such into stores for exchange into other lands.
32. Hence we find the abilities in those directions in the present may be a part of the entity's experience, if the application of self is in those directions.
33. And, as the entity will understand from the warnings as well as the influences that may become a part of the entity itself, in the fair exchange - and in those things that are hopeful, and in which the entity may believe himself - may the entity find those activities that may make for the greater service.
34. The name then was Jean Nathan Hale.
35. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Roman, when there were those particular activities from same with portions of what is now the Persian or the Turkish land, and the overrunning of portions of same by the soldiery for the preservation of the fields for the feeding of the men.
36. In those activities the entity engaged, as one who became what would be termed in the present not as a broker independent, but as one that worked with the officials of the government for individual service and activity.
37. Hence again we find the entity in those things or fields wherein there may be activities in the present; through the supply for the bodily wants and needs in EATING, or things of the nature which supply the materials for the bodily foods - these may be a part of the entity's experience; whether in trading upon the boards, as it would be called, or whether in association with wholesale dealers, or whether in the material distribution through the retailers.
38. Any of these may offer for the entity a field of expression in which a great service may be rendered, and in which harmony may be had.
1587-1 Page 5
39. For, as there is the inclination for the preservation of the ego and for the physical self, do not allow this to run to seed. This, as has been indicated, is not so much a fault, but certainly not a virtue in the present experience!
40. In that sojourn the entity was known as Pulmaon.
41. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods of the reconstruction, when there was the setting aside of the various arts and crafts, the various experiences for individuals.
42. The entity then was among those who set about to be in charge over what we would call the graineries, or those places for the preservation of the grains of the land, and the dealing of same out to other lands where they were given in exchange for spices from some, perfumes from others, gold from others, and certain characters of animals from others.
43. Hence the entity was what would be in the present termed the keeper of the graineries during that portion of the experience when there were the reestablishments of the relationships between the Priest, the King and the Atlanteans and the peoples of other lands.
44. The name then was Hu-Eldui.
45. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
46. First, analyze self. See where your shortcomings have been. See how that you must make your life a CONSISTENT one!
47. For consistency in the experience of any is INDEED a jewel of great value.
48. Then, in the fields of commerce or trade, or in activities of either or all of the three phases indicated, the entity may find the outlet in the material associations.
49. Study to show thyself approved unto the ideal thou hast set in the mental, the material and the spiritual life; and know they are one! keeping self unspotted from condemnation.
50. Let not thy good be evilspoken of, by being more and more consistent as well as insistent.
51. Thus you will find your experiences in this sojourn growing to be more and more worthwhile. You will find the world, its people, growing better - if you look for betterment in yourself first.
52. Ready for questions.
53. (Q) Which of the specific works would you advise? (A) Any of those in the fields that offer the opportunities for activity.
54. (Q) In what specific location would the body find the greatest opportunity for the expression of his abilities and talents - country and city if possible?
1587-1 Page 6
(A) As we find, in associations with activities in the southern portions of Connecticut as outlined - or as SELLING such to those of MANY of the lands in the middle west and south.
55. (Q) What were the past associations with the sister in the present? What are the urges in the present and what association and attitude in the present will bring about the best mutual development? (A) There were conflicting emotions at times, and there were periods when the activity of the entity was in the sojourn just previous to this. Then they were laboring as one with another. In the present we find that an analysis of the purposes and desires, and these made in constructive forces for creative activities of ALL PHASES of the experience, will bring the greater service, the greater joy and harmony in the experience of each.
