Born December 5, 1890, in Cambridge, Mass. Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - 1932 - '31 - periods of change in circumstance and of the emotional natures - '31, '30 - '18 - hasn't gotten over those regrets - - '16 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes (In undertone, "This seems to be divided!"), we have the records here of that entity now known as or called Mrs. [1595].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, one of the experiences in the earth stands out in such a way and manner that the experiences in the present - and that the entity might do with its abilities, its faculties - might be entirely drawn from that sojourn, and the lessons learned soon afterward.
4. The interpretations are drawn with the desire and hope of bringing in the present experience of the entity the awareness of those lessons even as gained in that material experience when disturbances of many natures arose.
5. But the closeness of the divine may be realized within the experience of every one, whether in the material life, the mental associations and activities, or in the spiritual life - for these are one in Him.
6. We find that the entity - from the records, but irrespective of what has been done with such influences - is ofttimes misunderstood.
7. It is not intended to indicate that the entity is not sincere, or that it misrepresents. But too oft is the inclination of the entity to describe or to give expressions to things that are misconstrued in the minds of others. Or what is said or done is, in the eyes of others, inclined to have a twofold meaning.
8. And this should be one of those conditions in which the entity should analyze self; although the abilities of the entity lie in the study of those conditions that may
1595-1 Page 2
influence individuals; whether astrologically, numerologically or what not.
9. But know that all such conditions are merely inclinations or tendencies, just as there is the tendency of the entity to not exactly overestimate but to brag or belittle or give the wrong impressions; but to be very sincere.
10. In these influences we find the entity often does not make friends easily, but the entity is able to hold such as the entity may claim as the friends. And this is to be commended or to be dwelt upon, or to be made a part of the entity's experience.
11. As to the astrological sojourns, these as we find are represented or given through the innate activities of the deeper side of the mental self of the entity, in urges that are accredited to or are a part of sojourns in the environs between the appearances in the earth.
12. For remember, the earth is only a portion of the environs of this particular system. Just so the others are only a portion; as with this entity Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Saturn, Mars. And it is through those environs that each soul passes according to that which is builded within the MENTAL or soul self; thus they become a part of the experiences.
13. But none of these urges surpass the will, which is a portion of the soul's body, or an attribute of the soul - and the judgments that are drawn by an entity (and particularly this entity) for choices bring about what circumstances and conditions shall be - as they arise in the experience from day to day.
14. For as given of old, there is each day the OPPORTUNITY. There is each day before thee life and death, good and evil.
15. Then know that there is oft a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is death; death meaning in THIS sense confusion, disturbance, unstableness, unhappiness, and those things that go to make up such influences in the experience.
16. In Venus we find the influence for one that is demure, timid oft, yet very sensitive to emotions and feelings. And these may be cultivated but kept, as indicated, so that there may be never a question as to motive for which a thing is done or said.
17. Then as you question others, remember you create that same environ over which for your own mind to travel.
18. In Jupiter we find a benevolent influence. And as Jupiter and Uranus, as well as Mercury, are the closer in their associations for the entity's activity in this coming fall, October to the latter portion of December, these will
1595-1 Page 3
be the periods when greater emotional influences, and associations or activities, may be made in which the entity may join in activities that will be for the greater mental and material development; as well as offering channels through which the spiritual or soul forces may develop.
19. These as we find are environs wherein other associations that may BECOME of the home-building nature may be formed.
20. In the Uranian influences we find the EXTREMES.
21. Hence we find those periods in which the entity has been very much at sea (as in the present) in relationships to its activities, as well as its relationships in filial associations or activities.
22. BE YE FREE from entanglements of such a nature before the periods of greater blessings may be thine in those directions indicated!
23. Also in Uranus we find the abilities in directions pertaining to the study of astrological influences or associations, but especially as related to the analyzing of emotions.
24. And these as we find would be channels through which the entity may find the greater activities and undertakings for the carrying on, as it were, of its mental self.
25. Too oft in these directions does the entity become panicky. KNOW, as has been and is the experience, and especially from that lesson which may be enjoined from its sojourn in that outstanding period - we must stand STILL oft if we would see the GLORY of the Lord!
26. Do not attempt to do that which is the work of another, as is the activity of thy spiritual concepts. For to fill that place for which ye have builded thy abilities, physically, mentally, spiritually, or to fill the purposes, the causes of thy sojourn in the earth in the present, is the greater service ye may give.
27. For the Lord hath not willed that any soul should perish. Thus He gives thee the opportunities to use that thou hast in hand today, that ye may glory in thy associations with the living God!
28. As to the appearances in the earth, these as we find may vary considerably - and are not great in number, yet there are others that at varied experiences will or do become a part of thy activity; and ye are passing out of associations in some within the present year, that have been worked out and may not be a part of thy activity save as that which is passed is as but a part of thy experience.
29. But ye are TODAY what ye are because of what ye WERE on the yesterday! And what ye are today is the shadow of that which will be thy entity's, thy entire experience, on what
1595-1 Page 4
ye call the morrow!
30. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land of its present nativity, during those periods in the Salem sojourn when there had just been a clearing and a satisfying of the activities in the environs as related to the mysterious - or those who were bewitched or beset by influences from without.
31. These had been satisfied in many ways and manners in thy associates and thy undertakings; yet they became a part of the entity's influence.
32. For that tendency in the present within self to hide, or not to tell the whole tale, not to tell that which will be understood (or so oft telling that which becomes misunderstood), arises from that experience when the entity, as Florence Shaeen (pronounced Shane), was active in the teachings of that land.
33. The entity taught in what ye would term the public schools, or the private schools that grew into the public schools; for in those periods they were maintained by groups rather than counties or states, but from which much of the activities in these directions arose.
34. The entity brought much into the lives of many, and gained through same; but through the associations as with the filial companionship in the present, destructive forces - for these brought misinterpretations, misunderstandings, misconcepts, and were destructive.
35. The activities before that were in the Roman period when there were many lands being considered as a portion of the Roman rule.
36. But the entity's sojourn there was especially when there were the influences upon the Roman land from the Grecian and the Parthian and the now called Mesopotamian lands.
37. For the entity was of the Grecian peoples but among those who were brought into Rome for its activities as one to bring the study of art in its preparations for decorations in the home, in places of worship, in places where there were the undertakings carried on as of the civil rites, political rites, as well as the social and the spiritual.
38. Hence those things pertaining to statuary or such are a part of the entity's experience, and the desire in those lines of such; yet these are as afar.
39. Yet it would be well if the entity would apply itself in a judgment of those, and especially as to the character of such as would be used for decorative as well as educational purposes in the various marts of the day.
40. Before that we find the experience of the greater
1595-1 Page 5
understanding, of the greater influence in the present, and from which there may be builded much of that in the present for not only the enduring influences in the material activities but in the mental as well as the spiritual influences.
41. When there was the journeying of the children of Israel through the wilderness, the entity then was among the children of Judah, born of its parents in and about that land of Sinai when they journeyed there.
42. The entity was under those periods of journeying, under those periods of activities when there were the turmoils and strifes that arose, and the activities that brought about the purifying as well as a leaving off of those things that had brought doubt and fear.
43. For remember, the journeyings at the period were for the purpose that those who had spoken evil of the land to which the promises had been given to the forefathers, for the indwelling there for their preparation for a purpose, might be expended and not able to enter in.
44. Then when the days arose for the preparations, after the periods of mourning for Moses, with whom the entity was acquainted - and acquainted with much of those activities, the entity - just before the crossing over the Jordan - was wedded by those in authority for such, as the leaders and counselors.
45. For according to the activities, or owing to the activities of the mate, the days for becoming the wife or consummating the wifehood were postponed. For the mate in that experience was among those who, because of representing its tribe for the carrying forward of the undertakings, occupied their place in the line of march.
46. Then there was the miracle of the parting of waters, and the wonderments as adjourned with the days for becoming the wifehood, and the undertakings with the march about Jericho; and then the friendships and the undertakings when there was the defeat at Ai.
47. For the entity was a friend of Joachim, who made those peoples to sin in that experience.
48. O the lessons that the entity gained there and the beauties and the teachings! Though it was not privileged as a great teacher, the entity gave much counsel during the rest of its sojourn in that land - through its activities when finally parceled with its family about the places where the tabernacle was left.
49. And remember that thy body is indeed a shadow of that tabernacle! For as it was there He promised to meet thee, so now - as in this present day - thy body is indeed the
1595-1 Page 6
temple where He has promised to meet thee!
50. Then as He has given to those of thy understandings, it is neither in this mountain nor yet in the temple in Jerusalem but Lo within thine own heart, thine own mind, that He meets thee for that awakening!
51. And when He becomes thine indeed in truth, ye indeed walk with Him, ye talk with Him. For as He has promised to bring to thy remembrance all things, so - as ye commune with thyself, in seeking to be a channel through which blessings may come to others, without the thought of self - ye may, even as ye did as the daughter of Shulemite, and in the name then Marabaa, give to all ye contact, day by day, HOPE and FAITH and CHEER!
52. For as He gave, the whole law is to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and mind and body, and thy neighbor as thyself.
53. Then as ye practice, then as ye manifest those things that are as the fruits of the spirit, so do ye attune thyself.
54. For know, as ye learned by the admonitions of Joshua (yea, thy Lord!) it is because of failures that sin lieth at the door.
55. Search then. For as He has given, "Seek and ye shall find; KNOCK and it shall be opened unto you."
56. WHO will open? Where will it happen? WITHIN THINE OWN CONSCIENCE! For THERE He has promised to meet thee!
57. The experiences before that were in the Egyptian land, when there had been those preparations in the Temples of Sacrifice and in the Temple Beautiful for individual activity and service in the various phases of the peoples' experiences.
58. The entity was among those who had been purified there, of the Native first in the Temple of Sacrifice, then in the Temple Beautiful; for ministering to those of the young in their choice or selection of activities; whether in the commercial, spiritual edification or what not.
59. The name then was She-Ipen; closely affiliated with the King, on account of the choice made for service of some in the King's own activities.
60. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
61. First find thyself in thy relationships to the Creative Forces, as ye did in Marabaa. Find thy activities and know that what ye set your mind and heart to do ye may accomplish in Him, IF HE DIRECTS!
62. And use that thou hast in hand today, so that TOMORROW He may give thee the better, the greater blessings.

63. Ready for questions.
64. (Q) What specific work will give the greatest outlet for expression and service? (A) As indicated, in that of self-analysis or in aiding others to find themselves in that channel of activity in which they may accomplish the greater influence or force.
65. (Q) What connections should be established for carrying on this work? (A) Study in those fields and with those associates in which such activities may be gained. Study Freud, study astrological aspects, study numerology.
66. (Q) Should I study with Dr. Merton character analyses from faces? (A) This is very well, but is only a portion.
67. (Q) Would it be well to study astrology with Miss Georgette? (A) This is very well, and is also only a portion of the activities - as indicated.
68. (Q) What has been my past association with Mrs. [1246], what are the urges and what can I do for our mutual development? (A) A comparison of the associations as we find may be drawn from the activities that have been given for each. The entity directed the more often; now must be directed by the better associations. These as we find, though, are drawing nearer and nearer to a close.
69. (Q) In my work in contacting General Electric for work in connection with the World's Fair being presented through the right individual, or would you suggest a better contact? (A) This is very well.
70. (Q) What has been my past association with George Creesy, what are the present urges and what can I do to make our association in the present mutually helpful? (A) These associations should be drawn closer and closer together. For it was through activity in association with Creesy that much of those influences were carried on in the land about or nigh unto Shiloh, in the experiences after the settling in the land. These naturally, then, should be drawn closer and closer together.
71. (Q) Though personally opposed to divorce, should I respond to my husband's Mr. [...]'s desire for same? (A) As we find, and as has been indicated - BE FREE!
72. (Q) Would another marriage be advisable? (A) Eventually.
73. (Q) Why did I select my present family relationship, what was the drawing urge and was this a selection on my part or a drawing to this association and environment? (A) Drawing to the association and environment through the activities in the experience just before, which - as
1595-1 Page 8
indicated - were very disturbing influences in the latter portion. These have been worked out.
74. (Q) Why do I over-evaluate people and what should I do to correct this? (A) As has been indicated.
75. (Q) What has been my past association with Dr. Merton, what are the present urges and what can I do to make our association in the present mutually helpful? (A) These experiences have been rather as being directed by him, in some of the periods through the Palestine land. These have been rather as affiliations and activities that may be dwelt upon or used as the stepping-stones for greater awakenings.
