R E A D I N G
Born January 19, 1871, in Leavenworth, Kansas. Time of Reading 4:15 to 5:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present - "1931 and '30 - an interesting period! '18 - turmoils - '17 - '13 - a new regime or life - '91 - preparations - '89 - '79 - some illness - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1598].
3. In giving the interpretations of these records, we find those that would be ordinarily translated or construed from the astrological aspects become almost nil.
4. For the entity in its application in the present of that it has set as its ideal has led towards those influences that make the astrological aspects as naught.
5. These are given, then, the whole interpretations, with that purpose of making the entity's experiences in the present more worth while, with more of a means for doing or applying self in a manner more fully in keeping with the purposes for which each entity, each soul, enters a given or material experience.
6. The astrological aspects will be interpreted merely that the entity, in the study of such information or such natures of interpretations by or for individuals, may see or comprehend sources from which information may be attained or given in the field of the study of phenomena - or NATURAL sources of such.
7. The astrological influences are not because the sun or the moon or any planet was at a position during the time of birth, as has been determined by some. But rather is it that each soul in its search, in its filling its purpose, has had an indwelling in the environs that become much an influence as has been or may be accredited by individuals to astrological aspects; because they - those influences - are a part of the experience of each and every soul.
8. Hence these, as was given in the beginning, are for

signs, for seasons; those influences that what has been the purpose, what is the purpose of the Creative Forces in the experience of each soul, may find its way.
9. And as each studies to show himself approved unto the Creative Forces, he finds how these become an influence - because of the use of those that have been the opportunities of each soul.
10. It is just as the sojourn of a mental being, or body, in the environs of this or that nature partakes in various manners of such an environ; by absorption, by activity, by speech, by the manner of that environment.
11. Hence each entity - not a physical body but each entity - is a part of every experience, either to become a helpful force or to let it (the experience) become as a drag upon its inner being.
12. We find with this entity then that the Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus are as INFLUENCES.
13. Hence we have these as innate urges, but irrespective of what has been done about same:
14. From Venus we have the sympathetic reactions, and an indomitable will which if it is not carried in this way or manner will be in some other - provided it is in keeping with that which is the idea or ideal of the entity.
15. We find in Jupiter the protective influences, or those in which the entity becomes protective in its aspect, when it relies upon the influences of RIGHT to rule.
16. From the Uranian sojourn we find the EXTREMES - where the entity often finds itself in the midst of extremes.
17. Now, as to what the entity has done about these is the experience in the present.
18. As to the sojourns in the earth, as the entity has made and does make the application of that which has been a portion of the experiences during the earthly sojourns, we find these become more of problems - or at times more of the urges. Yet remember, these are ever reflected in the astrological urges - that ARE as the innate or the DREAM urges of the entity in its inner self.
19. The appearances in the earth that are here given, then, are those that in the present become a part of the experience. Then these cease to be problems and become rather activities as the entity, as an individual, uses or applies self in meeting or overcoming that which has been or is a weakness, or is a separation from the universal forces - or consciousness of the oneness of self with Creative Forces.
20. For the entity is as the fact. God is; the entity is. As the soul is a portion of and is to be the companion with

that Creative Force, then these in their cooperative, coordinating forces are made up of body, mind, soul. They are one, each with its attributes and with its phases of activity; even as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are expressed in three-dimensional terms because of a three-dimensional phase of experience or consciousness in this particular period or place of activity in the SPHERE of consciousnesses - the earth.
21. As to the appearances, then:
22. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were those activities now understood as or called the American Revolution.
23. The activities that changed or altered the intent or purpose or desire of the entity were associated in and around those turmoils created by the rebellious forces that arose with those known as Arnold and Andre, that made for those disputed influences and forces.
24. The entity was aware of many of the circumstances. For the entity then was a minister, in the name of Edward Sherwin.
25. In that experience the entity gained. For with those acts as accorded the individuals during those periods and afterwards, when something of the reconstruction activities were begun, in the lands about which those activities had come to naught, there were those determinations within the experience of the entity that these were NOT in keeping with that which had been determined by those in authority as the foundations upon which the government had been established.
26. Hence the entity was acquainted and associated with many of the founders of this land of the present nativity.
27. Hence we find politics, economics, and the rule in various characters or natures that influence the activities of peoples are a part of the entity's present experience; whether for individual, collective, state or national activities.
28. And as was the determination in that sojourn, these offer in the present the channels through and in which the entity has labored and may labor for the many who are misunderstood; those who have ideas that are not always as ideals.
29. For there is only the one ideal in HUMAN relationships, and that is as that given by Him who IS the way, the truth, the light: "Love thy neighbor as thyself." The relationships to the Creative Forces are as the first portion: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, thy mind, thy body; thy neighbor as thyself."

30. This is in keeping with that which was the last commendation to those who were to be as ministers and emissaries, for those purposes for which each and every soul was called into material activity - and that search for which it seeks expression in its inner self: "A new commandment give I unto you," saith He, "that ye love one another, even as I have loved you."
31. So long as these are the ideals, so long as these are the purposes, so long as these are the desires of this entity - to give this understanding - so long will there be growth in soul development.
32. For we grow in grace by applying grace and mercy - and in understanding as we try to understand. For it is the try, the attempt, that is the righteousness of man. Not by any deed or act, but "by the fruits ye shall know them."
33. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Roman, during those periods when there were the first, the second - yes, to the third of the Caesar's activities in the land.
34. The entity was among those who were active in searching out the new lands, and as to the purposes or why they should become ones to pay tribute - or under the directions of those who were to be the active forces in the lands.
35. Not always was the entity's counsel taken, for there were others - and disputes arose between such emissaries. For the entity held that unless there were purposes for the changing of the individuals' activities - for a purposefulness, they had best be left alone.
36. Hence we find when there were those periods of disputes, when there were the activities upon the Nile and in portions of the land now called northern Africa, these brought PHYSICALLY evil days to the entity - in the name then Calimus - but MENTALLY brought developments as for the soul and its development for purposes.
37. For even as He taught, he that is willing to lay down his life for a cause GAINS the cause!
38. Then as He gave Himself as a ransom for many, so may those who have embraced Him gain a concept of that for which He stands, and become active in that direction. Not for fame, not for fortune, not even for what may be termed a patriotic spirit - for or because of a wrong concept, but for those activities that are to bring the fruits of the Spirit; as hope, faith, love, longsuffering, brotherly kindness, gentleness, and most of all PATIENCE.
39. For in Patience we become aware of that relationship with the Creative Forces, that may only be expressed in materiality in what we do to our fellow man. For, "As ye do

it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto me," saith He that IS the way, the truth, the light!
40. Before that we find the entity lived in the earth during those periods when there was the breaking up of what has been in our memories or histories given as the taking of the ten tribes, or their dispersing.
41. The entity then was among those who came into the land now known as the English, and was of those peoples who were the children of one faithful in many ways - being a portion of those descended from the children of Dan and those who had been with Caleb in Bethlehem.
42. Then the entity was of both those tribes, but entered into the activities in the land for the preservation not only of those manners of worship, those manners of preserving lives, but of the economic laws that had been a part of the experience of those peoples who were the fathers of the entity then - in the name Zedekiah.
43. In the experience the entity gained, but in the latter portion lost. For the signs, the symbols came to be rather as the purposes than that for which they were brought into being.
44. Thus the entity failed in that portion. But the entity had a helpful, developing experience in all the manners of health, of sanitation, of diets. Hence all of such things in the present become of interest to the entity, in the experience of individuals, groups, states or nations. And AGAIN the application of self in those directions in which individuals or groups may be made conscious that the body is indeed the temple of the living God and must be considered and treated as such, becomes a channel through which greater help, greater means of expression of self in the present may be brought into being.
45. For it is THERE - in thine own temple - as He gave - that He has promised to meet thee! Even as He gave, the day is at hand when neither in this mountain nor in the temple in Jerusalem but in thine own heart will He speak - to those who love His ways and His coming!
46. For how gave He? "If ye love me, keep my commandments, and I will come and abide with thee."
47. MAKE YE THESE THY PROMISES!
48. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods following the turmoils owing to the revolutions and the banishment of the Priest; when there was the entrance of those from the Atlantean and the Caspian and the Pyrenees lands.
49. All of those were part of the entity's experience, but enjoined with those activities from the Atlanteans, with the

King, for the bringing into order those conditions following such turmoils.
50. Hence we find the entity was oft in those positions then as it has been in the present; oft in various groups or lands, in various states or positions or conditions where turmoils have been and are a portion of the lot of the people, the entity is giving self in a service to bring harmony and peace out of chaos.
51. And as was then a part of the entity's experience as Ar-Ar-Med, the experience of the relationships of man to Creative Forces - as expressed in the relationships to the fellow man - creates in the material environments that of harmony of every nature.
52. For the kingdom of love must be within, even as the kingdom of heaven. For without that as the purpose, without that as the desire, how may one experience it? Not unto self, but that the glory of Him who is the light may be manifested in the lives and the experiences of others.
53. As to what may be the application then in the present:
54. First know in Whom and in what ye have believed. And know that He in WHOM ye have believed is able to keep that ye commit unto Him against ANY experience that may arise in thy consciousness of any nature.
55. For materially He says, "Come unto me, ye that are weak and heavyladen, and ye shall find rest unto your souls."
56. To the mental He says, "In my father's house are the many mansions, the many phases, the many stages of activities."
57. To thy spirit He says, "Be ye ONE - even as I and my Father are one!"
58. Then in HIM ye have thy answer. For His ways are not past finding out, to those who seek to do His biddings.
59. Then, through those channels that have appealed and do appeal to thee, let thy activities be in setting aright those who have lost their way here or there; those who need the assurance that all is not lost because of the ills of the flesh; those who need the assurance that all is not lost because that we call death has closed the door; but rather that Life - AS a manifestation of God - is CONTINUOUS in the EXPERIENCES of those who seek to be in companionship with Him.
60. Ready for questions.
61. (Q) How can I make the most of my remaining years in service to my fellow man? (A) As has been indicated, help here and there to make the paths straight; to light the light to those who sit in darkness; to raise the hopes of those who have been

discouraged, in that those who love Him - their seed shall not beg bread. This may be done in writing, in speaking, in DOING! For the experience, or this or that influence ye have seen or may see, is not the important thing - but what have ye done, and what are ye doing, and what WILL ye do ABOUT SAME! For to say to him that is hungry, "The Lord be blessed - be thou filled," fills not that desire; it does not bring the consciousness. But to aid the individuals to find themselves, aiding them to find that which will fill and make THEIR life experience as ONE with Him - these be thy missions, these have been and are thy purposes. CARRY ON! Be not weary in well-doing.
62. (Q) I've been investigating psychic phenomena. Should I write a book about this, in spite of the prejudices in this field? and should I study or try to develop these gifts myself? (A) This subject is one that is oft misunderstood, and oft misinterpreted. PSYCHIC is of the soul, and not MERELY the experience. It is well to study same, it is well to experience same; but in those manners, in those ways that are in keeping with Him who is thy Ideal! Not, then, by the communion with those ONLY of disincarnate entities - or souls! but rather with that direction which comes from within. For how has He given? "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it again." Then thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. THERE He has promised to meet thee, to commune with thee. THERE is the psychic development, the psychic phenomena that ye seek! For as ye read, as ye study, only that which answers to that being sought within thine OWN self answers to thy prayer, to thy seeking. Then, it is well to write about these. For the book of Books IS the greater source of psychic experiences of individuals, and as to WHAT they did ABOUT such! even from Adam to John - or from Genesis to Revelation. These are living examples that are thine. For each day is thy Eden; yea, each evening is the call, "Whosoever WILL let him come and take of the water of life freely."

Study in that manner, and in those that seek for self-effacement - well; but those that seek self-glory, never!
63. (Q) How should I conduct the American Seminar next year? with or without an influential or big committee? (A) As in all such, ye find most of the real activities fall upon one or two. Then the small committee is the better - if these are chosen for their sincerity of purpose.
64. (Q) Should I borrow money freely to finance the Cooperative Farms in Mississippi, when there is danger of another depression or recession? (A) How gave He concerning that which is good business in relationships to such? If it is for the purpose of bringing hope and faith and love into the lives and experiences of those who are to be aided, then WHOSE IS the money! For, "The silver and gold is mine, saith the Lord, and the cattle on a thousand hills." Show FORTH thy love to thy fellow man, by putting his trust in God! There will BE then no recession for such.
