1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1610] - the records upon time and space.
2. And these are a portion of the entity's application through the sojourns in the astrological environs as well as the material sojourns in the earth; the records being made upon time and space according to the application of self through will, as to that held by the entity through its experience.
3. Hence it is both evolution AND growth. (Consider the difference!)
4. In giving the interpretations, these portions of same are chosen with the desire and the hope that they may be made a helpful experience for the entity; in a way and manner that the applying of self as is understood from the shortcomings or from the virtues and vices in the varied experiences may enable the entity to take hope - that there may be a fulfilling of the purpose for which self enters each and every experience.
5. For each soul through the material or three-dimensional plane has the opportunity to manifest all phases of virtue or vice. The whole sin, ever, is selfishness - or its children.
6. Hence, as there is given the good or the bad, there is the desire that there may be such a choice within the experience of the entity as to know whereunto it has been called. For to manifest through associations with others that which is the Law of One, the experiences that may glorify and magnify the consciousness of the Divine - these are the purposes, these are the ways and manners.
7. For each soul has and does become aware of its separation from the Father, God. It seeks not justification in itself but through the promises in Him to again come into that presence, that consciousness, that oneness in such a manner
1610-2 Page 2
as to know itself to be itself, yet one with that Creative Force or God - even as He.
8. In the interpreting of the astrological aspects, we find these are as the mental urges in the experience. They do not impel; they do show the direction in which the application has been. Not because of the position of this or that planet, this or that phase of the astrological aspects are there certain urges, but rather these are IN that position because the self has indicated and done that ABOUT the Creative Forces as it has!
9. Thus the inclination arises within the experience.
10. As with this entity, it will find from the very zodiacal sign that it must not lose its head, must not become so overenthusiastic or so wrapped up in any material or mental or physical activity as to not be able to view the whole as it were as one.
11. The activities, of course, will be in individual natures or influences, yet it is the relationship as one bears to another in such activities; whether in the direction in which there may be the training of individuals for definite or special service or activity, or in such relationships to keep the body more physically fit. All portions of same are taken into consideration, rather than the one - or the developing of one, save where a lack of coordination has been brought about by an INCONSIDERATION of this unity of body, mind, soul.
12. As these are one manifested in a physical body, so must the body view the physical, the mental, the spiritual activities of his own relationships to others as well as the relationships to the whole.
13. For each entity, each activity is dependent one upon another. In some of those relationships or sports or games ye may term this perfect timing. Time in that sense is not relative to even the whole as a spiritual entity but as the relationships of physical activity to the mental purpose for which the physical activity is called into being.
14. Hence these are parts of the entity's experience, just as we find Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Mercury as portions of the entity's experience.
15. In Venus the sympathetic nature, the love influence or force that makes for the companionship, the friendship in the experience of the entity. As to what is done with same depends upon the entity's application of self as respecting same.
16. We will find a benevolent influence in Jupiter, or the drawing influences in the experiences of the entity; making for those contacts as a whole - or as a group or mass. Yet
1610-2 Page 3
as indicated, there are the individual applications of same. Yet as we find, if there is the holding to the ideals, as through the Jupiterian influence, we may see that the entity would in common parlance more often get the right "breaks" than the herd would.
17. In the Mercurian we find the mental abilities as applied to the Uranian. Hence we find a different application as it were of the Uranus influence. The occult influence, of course, arises from same.
18. Being influenced through the Mercurian, we find rather fair judgements, but it is necessary as it were for the entity to take thought of the various subjects or activities in such experiences as to their VARIED relationships to the ideals that are a part of that which must be the basis of every individual's activity.
19. Whether in the mental, the physical or the spiritual, have an ideal; and not be merely idealistic. Be true, be consistent. And O that all might know that consistency is indeed a jewel in the experiences of any! Never ask of others that ye do not do yourself. Never require of others that ye do not practice in thy own experience.
20. These are the natural laws of Him that IS the light, the way, the truth, the understanding - whose purposes ye may indeed know. For they are part of the experiences of each and every soul that has entered or does enter through the material sojourns for manifestations.
21. For Life itself is of Him. For in Him ye live and move and have thy being.
22. Then He is able to keep whatever ye may commit unto Him against ANY experience. He IS thy friend. And as ye journey through the material experiences, ye will find indeed what it means to have a friend in Him, who has promised that as ye take hold on Him, He is able then to give that strength, that courage, that purpose for the activity in which ye may find yourself engaged. Only in Him may ye find extremes meeting, yet ye will find whether in joy, in sorrow, in disappoint- ment, in exaltation, in whatever may be thy lot or thy activity, that He is thy friend.
23. As to the sojourns in the earth, these we find are indeed many; yet not so many have their influence in the present. For as we apply, as He has given, it is line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little; and the command has also been given to use that thou hast in hand today, then tomorrow the next step may be given thee.
24. Hence the experiences through the sojourns in the earth reflect in the emotional forces of the bodily influences, as
1610-2 Page 4
through the mental urges as may arise through the emotions or the senses as ye call them in thy experiences - the awareness with which ye become aware of thy environs, the consciousness with which ye are aroused to activity in thy physical being - these come through the application of thyself in the material sojourns that influence thee in the present.
25. Before this we find the entity was in the land far east from the land of the present nativity [Georgetown, Illinois], or in those lands of the early settlements around portions of New York and Connecticut - in which there were the early settlers and the associations with the natives.
26. The entity's activities were to run the mill that ground grain, that prepared those things for the sustenance of life.
27. There the entity also trained not only the youth of its own people but many of the natives, and about the entity grew up a place of exchange. Naturally the entity was drawn into the political factions during those early periods, or the various religious factions.
28. And these all became a part of the entity's experience. And the inclination oft is for those whom the entity meets, whether in its associations in teaching or training of the young, in the manual activities for labors or whether in the physical activities, or whether in the sports or games for their physical developments, to tell the entity of this or that experience - whether they be the imaginations or the real activities. All of these become a part of the entity's experience, from the many with whom he may become associated.
29. Hence the entity is inclined to invite confidences without the knowledge even of same being apparent.
30. Hence the entity becomes as one who may oft be called on to judge between factions or factors in the various experiences of its associations with others.
31. Yet those things of the outdoors, and of the outdoor activities, are the callings as it were for the entity's influences. And from those very experiences we find such labors or such activities as director of the physical training of the young, whether in the groups or clubs or Y.M.C.A., or churches, or any such social organizations would become a part of the entity's experience; with the ability to write rules or directions for others - which will eventually become a part of the entity's experience.
32. There we find the entity was in the name Thomas Marshall, and in its associations and with its companion or mate during the experience the entity had an unusually large
1610-2 Page 5
family - even for the period. And we find that the entity, as ye would term in the present, not only had its own ball game but its own Eleven of sons for any activities in the sports and the games and many of those who in the latter experiences brought much of those activities in the country - or that were gathered from them.
33. The mate then, as we find, was of the Putnam family - Putnamham (?).
34. In the experience we find the entity gained, because of not only the confidences, the judgements drawn, the abilities to give and take, but the counsels that brought hope and strength. Yet the entity found time also to give to the natives, to those peoples not fully understood - and yet people that were once the entity's very own - its confidence, and - most of all - dealings fair.
35. Before that we find the entity was in the now called Roman period, during those experiences when there was a great deal of the practices and the games that had become so much a part of the Grecian Activities - in the developments of the body, the developing of the gladiators, the ones that might show their strength or such.
36. There we find the entity was among those Romans who were chosen not only for the physical prowess, not only for the beauties of the body, the symmetrical activity of the figure, not only because of those activities for which many an artist or sculptor sought the entity as an example or as a model, but because of the abilities of the entity to teach or instruct or direct.
37. For there were the attempts of the entity to bring same into a part of the training of those ye would term today the diplomats, as well as the soldiery or the defenders of the home, or the environs - as ye would call the police, or the like.
38. But all of those brought much temptation as well as great material developments for the entity.
39. During the latter portion of the entity's experience, when there was the overcoming of the Palestine land - or the sending of the Roman soldiery into Palestine; from the social and the spiritual angle it was not so well an experience for the entity. For the rivalry, the revelries in drink and meat and the like became that which became the stumblingstone for the entity during that portion of its sojourn. For he came close unto the knowledge of those things that were a part of poor old Herod, or the environs about same - so that wine, women and song became the undoing of the entity during that part of its sojourn.
40. With the purposes as had been set, these brought dismay
1610-2 Page 6
and disappointments to the entity. But with the recall, and with a friendship shown by one of the Roman tax legislators, there came to the entity a new awakening. For he learned the lessons of the Cross from a Roman superior!
41. In the latter portion the entity gathered the activities of Paul, when the greater freedom was given him in the Roman sojourn. There the entity came under a still greater influence.
42. Then in the name Pelostos, the entity gained and lost. As to the application of self in the present from that sojourn, or the lessons to be gained: As has been indicated, consistency in every phase is that jewel to be earned, gained, kept by each in the directions as ye would give, in the counsel as ye would have; not only for self but for others.
43. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were the preparations of those in the land who were to become emissaries, teachers, ministers, artisans in the various departments of activities, in those periods of the disseminations of the things that had been gathered - when there had been the correlating of the many tenets and truths from all the varied lands.
44. The entity was among those who were offspring of the Atlanteans, as associated with some of the Natives of the land; yet the entity came into contact with the activities of the Priest in that experience - and was trained FIRST to be among those of the fathers of the new peoples, yet within self rebelled at those influences, and took rather upon self the activities of the recorder.
45. Hence the entity became the recorder for the keeping of records of those activities in the Temple, and those activities in what ye would term today as schools or recreational halls and the preparation of people for their activities whether in the mines, in the fields, in the arts or trades or what. The records of these were kept by the entity.
46. Then - as ye will find in the application of the abilities of self, a little later - the abilities to write; not so much rules but the manners of living, the manners of dieting, the manners of physical activity for the preparations through the actual activity of same. These may become markers that the entity may write in the camps of others; in some of the schools or the like; and thus as an individual aiding in the disseminating of the truth and knowledge that is a practical, applicable thing in the minds, hearts and experiences of others.
1610-2 Page 7
47. The name then was She-Pth-el, and in the experience the entity may be said to have gained throughout - even by rejecting those things for which a portion of the experience was a preparation.
48. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods just previous to the second destruction, or upheaval, when there were the rebellions of the sons of Belial and the activities of the children of the Law of One to produce or bring about a unity of service.
49. There we find the entity was not a prince but in the office as it were of one, so closely associated with those that were in authority as to be CONSIDERED as one.
50. For the entity then was a mate or a twin, that was often mistaken for the Prince himself; though not even of the same family, yet of such a mould, such an activity as to be oft misunderstood, misdirected in some ways and manners - until the union of their purpose and activity made for the preventing of turmoils arising in the experience of Su-Son.
51. In the experience, though, the entity made WARS upon the children of Belial. Hence we will find in the present experience the desire of rivalry in some directions, and the innate feeling in the experience of the entity a friendship with individuals as a FEELING as of brotherly love, and yet those things where determinations and having its own will also arise. These are well if the ideal is not merely material, but of a spiritual nature and purpose.
52. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
53. First, study to show thyself approved unto thy Maker; rightly dividing - yea, divining - the words of truth; keeping self unspotted from the world; that is, in all thy associations, in all thy activities with thy fellow man never do that which to thine own conscience makes or will cause a question mark to be put after or before thy name before thy fellow man.
54. These are not hard, if thy desires and thy purposes are consistent with thy ideals. Let those activities in which ye would direct, whether by thy counsel in thy writings - as should be a portion of thy experience - or whether by thy material directing of activities, be tempered ever not merely with mercy or judgement but with spiritual awakenments.
55. Train or teach thy associates not only to be worth while but worth while FOR something, FOR an ideal! Not as of country, but that just to be kind, just to be gentle, patient, longsuffering and with brotherly love is greater than they that may be able to lift many weights or to tear
1610-2 Page 8
down many cities. For he that is able to control his own temper, his own purpose, is greater than he that may even take seven cities.
56. Then, let thy activities then be such that "The Law of the Lord is ever before me," if ye would find harmony and peace in thy sojourn in the present.
57. Ready for questions.
58. (Q) I have been told through various psychics that my life work has not begun and that this change will come in about three years. Is this true and what work should I pursue for the greatest mental and spiritual development? (A) As we find, as has been indicated.
59. (Q) It seems that some entity, perhaps an Indian guide, has sought on various occasions to come through to me. Please explain this. (A) Is it any wonder, with the gentleness, kindness, the patience shown in the experiences just before this, that the entity should seek to counsel with thee? These seek rather not to do other than gain from thee knowledge as to the application of right and justice. Then when these approach, let thy counsel be, "The Father direct thee, the Father guide thee, the Father bless thee." These will make for, then, the abilities for the awakening to come along the line for those who are seeking - seeking for further expressions! and their advancement then may be quickly accomplished through this veil that ye see only darkly at times.
60. (Q) Will my work at the Beachwood have any relation to my life work? (A) That as thou hast applied or used in thy training and development may be a part of thy experience, that may be recorded - as ye make the preparation, and prepare the manuals for others in THEIR activity and their experience. Yes, that upon which much may be builded.
61. (Q) What is my seal, and explain what this is based on? (A) This: that what ye are in the present is the sum of that ye have applied in thy concept and through thy relationship to the Creative or developing forces through thy experiences. Then, the seal would be based upon that which would draw from - or draw to thy consciousness innately, see? that is, that between that which arises from thy material sojourns and thy astrological, or the periods between thy material
1610-2 Page 9
sojourns also. Draw a circle - as thus, see? Then to the left side, as it faces thee, put two small columns - which would be as those activities in the Atlantean and the Persian experiences. These are not high, yet they are not broken - they are of Gothic nature and hence show their strength. Across this there is grown a vine, see - that which would be the binding of the purposes of self and that ye worship - or thy God and thy ideal. Then a straight line towards the right portion, upon which is drawn two ways - two ways; which would represent the paths as may be or are chosen by self in the application of that strength ye would give through thy physical relationships to others. And these would be strewn with the moonflower, such as the four-petal blossom - not the moonflower that grows on a vine but that grows closer on the ground, see? these of white. This then would be the seal; and represents that as indicated - the way through which the self would apply for the greater development or activity.
62. (Q) What has been my relationship with Sister-in-law, [1608], giving each period, what urges are brought into the present and what may I do that will lead to mutual mental and spiritual development? (A) An acquaintance when the activities were in the Connecticut land; for the self was in a portion of that land adjoining or a part of same - in the period just before this. Befriended one another. As to the application in the present: Patience one with another. Ye think ye have it all, but the time will come when you see that neither would have it with the other!
63. (Q) Any other advice for the body? (A) Keep that as given. Let the laws that are of love, that fear not, that doubt not, that faint not, keep thee ever.
64. We are through. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
