Time of Reading 11:45 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J.

1. GD: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

3. As we find, conditions in the main show some improvement. While at times there are still those disturbances from the general feeling of exhaustion, or through the reactions from the tautness of muscular forces along areas of the cerebrospinal system, these show much improvement.

4. We would continue - occasionally - with the adjustments osteopathically. However, we would take the time to relax the body with Wet Heat; these applications made with heavy packs over the areas in the cerebrospinal system where there is the tendency for tautness; THEN the adjustments or manipulations made. For we find that these will aid much in keeping the better conditions through the general eliminations, the better circulation for the heart and liver and kidneys, as well as a general activity.

5. Now we would have these made about ten days or two weeks apart, but then a thorough GENERAL treatment.

6. As to those conditions under the arm, we find that these show some improvement. But we find that a gentle massage once a day with an equal mixture of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor should continue to bring better conditions for the body.

7. Be mindful of the diet, to not overload but to keep an even balance in the GENERAL activity of the assimilating system.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Please clarify your former statement that your prescribed treatment would eliminate dizziness and stimulate better appetite, when I do not have any dizziness and do have an excellent appetite? (A) As we find, as was indicated - the reference regarding the appetite was to the ABNORMALCY rather than the lack of

appetite, and the suggestion made was that there needed to be a stimulation in the direction of keeping a normal balance; that is: the desire for foods is not always in keeping with the best conditions for the chemical balance of the system, with the tendencies already of static conditions along portions of the system itself. As to the nausea or dizziness that is disputed - if there will be a looking into the chemical conditions of the stomach at that time, it will be seen these are reflecting to the regurgitation that takes place at times.

10. (Q) To what extent is it possible at my age to bring about greater intervertebral movement in the spine? (A) If there is the persistent and consistent activity in the general influence of the body-motions, this may be brought as near to normal for age and general conditions. However, this will require a longer period of applications, or regular periods; not necessary that they be kept continuously, but every few weeks have a series, see?

11. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (GD's note 1/27/41: See copy [which was enclosed] for Osteopath.) )
