1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '34 - some anxieties - '27 - expectancies - '18 anxiety of a different nature - '95 - an illness - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called Mrs. [1651].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, there are many conditions that are latent and manifested as urges - as those things in the natural sources or natural forces, that are as emblems or as emblematical influences, that would be helpful - as will be indicated for the entity.

5. We find that it would be very helpful for the entity to wear upon the body a piece of stone that is of the lapis lazuli variety, but the essence or fusion of copper; not as a charm but as a helpful force in the vibrations that will coordinate with the body. This worn as a locket or the like would be helpful.

6. In the interpreting of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; that there may be a better interpretation in the experience of the entity of those influences which are as trials or as helpful forces;

1651-2 Page 2

that the entity may experience the greater satisfaction of knowing the purpose for which it entered this experience, - and thus apply the virtues, meet the vices, in such a manner as to bring the greater helpful influences in the experience of itself and in the lives of those the entity meets from time to time.

7. For, OTHERS should be that to which each soul lends itself, in its application of meeting the vices as well as magnifying the virtues in the lives and the experiences of others.

8. In giving the astrological aspects - these find expression in the latent MENTAL experiences, and dreams or visions of the entity; not merely because of the entity's indwelling in the environs or activities of the planets, but because of the influences accredited to these that are a portion of the latent force within the entity's experience.

9. From Venus we find the influence in all things having to do with home, with beauty, with music, with things of the classic nature - these become latent and manifested experiences for the entity.

10. We find from Jupiter the influences having to do with the masses and classes. Thus, as the entity experiences, there will be periods in which there are the extremes of class and mass activity influencing the associations and activities of the entity. Also we find the abilities arising for the entity to prepare or to deliver or to give to the many that which will be helpful or beneficial in their experience. Thus the activities in which the entity might engage in which there might be given helpful forces to others, become a channel of outlet for the better influences in the entity's experience.

11. From Saturn we find the changes that have been wrought in the experiences of the entity very suddenly, yet very definitely. This brings into the experience, then, the necessity for the entity - with its abilities - to ADJUST itself, to still be constructive in its relationships with conditions and surroundings under the changes which have arisen, and will arise, in the experience.

12. In Neptune we find things pertaining to air and water have an influence in the material, as well as in the social life of the entity; and these also must be as adjustments to the purposes and ideals of the entity, in its relationships to things as well as to individuals or conditions which arise in the experience.

13. Then, as to the sojourns of the entity in the earth, - we find the expressions of these through rather the emotions of the body, or the sense forces.

1651-2 Page 3

14. As there have been many definite changes wrought in the indwelling or the experiences of the entity in the earth, we find that the entity at times is rather emotional. This is either controlled or being controlled by others, depending upon the application of self to those that will be indicated as the purposes for the entity's activities.

15. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the early settlings in the land; when there were more of the English peoples indwelling or settling in the land than the Dutch.

16. The entity was among the English associations or activities, born in what is now New York or Manhattan.

17. During the experience the entity was under great disturbances at times; yet there were those experiences in which the individual activity and the purposes of individuals for greater development of the purposes for the new land became a part of the entity's experience.

18. The name then was Emalie Cushing; and in those places of interment about the city there may be yet found some of those records.

19. We would give that the entity gained, and yet from that sojourn we find in the present a great many changes in the environmental forces about the entity, things having to do with relationships to conditions existing in individuals' lives, that are to be met.

20. Before that the entity was in the English land, during those periods when there were the determinations of many to gather books of records; for these were just being begun then as a means of education through the exchange of ideas, by the manner in which the printing had been begun - and these were a part of the entity's experience.

21. For, the entity was one who interpreted and selected much of those records, under the supervision of those in charge of such for the edification of the peoples during that experience.

22. Hence we find in the present that the entity is very much interested at times in the language, or dialects, as related to individuals or groups, and as to the influence such has borne and does bear upon individuals or peoples under such an influence.

23. Then the entity was in the name of Guerenberm. The entity gained, the entity lost. The entity gained in the helpfulness of its selections for edification of peoples of certain degrees, but the preferences shown in some of the various estates brought a confusion of purposes in the experience of the entity.

24. And in the present there have been and may be periods

1651-2 Page 4

when the entity feels slighted by the apparent indifference of individuals, when in reality the entity is oft only meeting itself in its own self-consciousness of which it is aware because of those experiences when slights have been apparent on the part of itself, and not because of intent on the part of others - as is oft felt at times.

25. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, during that period when there was a great development of statuary, and of figures, and the worship of things pertaining to the development of the body-beautiful.

26. Thus we find the present ability of the entity to judge of such things, especially art and art objects, and the figures or statues of various objects as they depict the activities of individuals or groups.

27. The entity gained through those experiences, for the activities brought to many of the peoples of that period not only an outlet but a hopefulness for their material, mental and spiritual associations.

28. Then the name was Elean.

29. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were those turmoils and strifes that were a part of the experience of many individuals during those activities.

30. For, during the banishment of the Priest, the entity was among the Natives who were confused, disturbed by the many changes which had been wrought in the experiences of the entity for its close associations with those peoples who had been subdued.

31. For the entity was among the princesses of the native Egyptians when there had been the entrance of that group who had overrun, or who had taken over not only the political but the religious life, and established other influences.

32. But with the return of the Priest, and the establishing of the associations with the Atlanteans, the entity came in closer activity with those influences as developed the peoples - not only of that land but of other lands - for their bodily preparations for being channels for better manifestations of God's influence - and also preparations in those things pertaining to what would be called vocational guidance in the present.

33. Hence we find an interest in such in the present experience of the entity, as to how places and conditions are an influence upon the activity of individual development in this material plane.

34. The name then was Sel-Sheina.

35. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:

1651-2 Page 5

36. There are many fields of activity, as indicated, in which the entity may find outlets and make for helpful influences in the affairs of individuals, as well as for the advancement and development of self.

37. But first know thine own ideal; not merely that as would be idealistic - for all ideals must be practical, and livable, as was manifested in Him who is the way, the truth and the life; and these must be, should be, the mental, the spiritual, the material ideals.

38. Then, study to show thyself approved unto such - first.

39. THEN, through those various channels of activity in which ye find thyself interested, and in which ye at present give expression, ye may find greater manners, greater ways, greater experiences, greater developments in self for the peace, the happiness, the harmony coming into they own experience in the present.

40. For of him to whom the ability of judgements has been given (as to this entity in its experiences) is much expected - through those ways in which others may gain thereby. For, as ye give, ye receive. This is the manner in which the growth comes - as indicated by the injunction to study to show thyself approved unto Him, a workman not ashamed, rightly dividing the words of truth, and keeping self unspotted from condemnation in thine OWN self.

41. And only in knowing, only in determining thy ideal and keeping that as thy light and thy way, may such be accomplished in thy experience.

42. Ready for questions.

43. (Q) Describe in more detail the lapis stone suggested for the body to wear. (A) As understood, and may be found by the investigating of same, there is a blue-green stone, that is a fusion in copper deposits, that has the same vibration as the body; and thus is a helpful influence, not merely as an omen or good luck charm, but as the vibratory helpful force for health, for strength, for the ability through the mental self to act upon things, conditions, decisions and activities. Because of its softness, it will necessarily have to be encased in glass - as two crystals and this between same. It may be worn around the neck, the wrist or the like. But wear it, for it will bring health and hope, and - best of all - the ability to DO that so desired.

44. (Q) Please give more specific directions and suggestions for finding the records of the incarnation just previous to the present. (A) These must be sought within self, and you will find

1651-2 Page 6

them - in the places of interment, for it's written on stone.
