1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [1654].

2. Now as we find, the disturbances that prevent the better normal condition are of a general nature; yet the causes in some of the directions are very specific, while in others they are the reflex action from the disturbances which have existed.

3. Also some of these arise from the body attempting to adjust itself to the changes wrought through the operative measures that were resorted to, and the effect that this change had upon the glandular system as well as the nerve supply and the organs as reflex from the disturbance.

4. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [1654] we are speaking of:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there is the indication of the lack of the proper elements for keeping a balance in the coagulative measures of the system in its functioning.

6. Thus we find there is a lack of elements in the chemical reactions from glandular secretions, or a lack of the balance between the iodides and the potassiums in the system, or a lack of that element which may be added in the form of calcium.

7. The reaction in the system through the lack of this supply, as well as in the abilities to make for the better reactions for the retaining of vitality necessary for full physical activity, is to cause the body to easily tire.

8. And at times there is an irregularity in the activity of the heart, though not an organic heart disturbance.

9. As combined with the activity of the glandular system, these as we find supply those elements in most of the glandular formations for their ability to secrete from the system in the activity of the assimilating or digestive system, to form the elements of reproduction in creative forces for BODILY functionings.

10. These as we find then cause or produce at times, under

1654-1 Page 2

these stresses from activities in the glandular force, a strain upon same; producing headaches that become of a nature such that not only is there the feeling of exhaustion but at times a nausea is the result of same also.

11. At times there is a heaviness in all portions of the functioning of the sympathetic system as related to the sensory forces; as at times the ringing in ears, bad taste - or the inability for taste at times. At times the eyes give some disturbance through their very weakness, as produced by this strain upon the whole of the nervous system itself.

12. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, with the natural strain upon the blood supply as related to perfect coagulation, we have periods of nerve exhaustion, when there is the tendency or inclination for the mental reaction of pessimism; at other times even reaching somewhat of a moroseness, or a melancholia. These are all the results of the activities through the lack of the proper balance in the nerve system.

13. IN THE ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as has been indicated, there are the revulsions at times to nerve reflexes through most al portions of the organs of the body; which we find indicated through the sensory forces, though the nerve reflexes from the brain's activity in the most part are near to normal. But there are periods when such activity is below normal, and others when it is super-normal - or the responses are to create the conditions as indicated in the pessimism or melancholia, or the excess optimism and the easily irritated reaction.

14. In the activity of the lungs, the bronchials, the larynx - save as related to the circulatory system - we find the condition is very good.

15. Digestive forces at times have the reflex from the nervousness that reacts from the weakness through the supplying of the energies for the body; as does the heart's activity.

16. The same do we find in the liver and kidneys, and as related to the organs of the torso - or through the alimentary canal as well as the reproductive forces through the genital system, and the reactions of irritations that arise at times from the lack of the proper activity through the nerve forces.

17. The repulsion and revulsion as felt in the activities or associations arise from nerve forces, rather than a disturbance that may not be relieved through the general applications for the body.

18. THEN, IN MAKING APPLICATIONS OF THOSE THINGS AS WE FIND: While it will require some time, and there will be periods when there will be the feelings as of a reverting to old

1654-1 Page 3

disturbances, we find that if these things are carried on consistently and persistently as indicated there should be brought much better and near to normal forces gradually in this body of Mrs. [1654].

19. First, then, we would begin with the use of those properties known as Calcios. We find that calcium taken in this manner may be the more easily assimilated, and will work better with the assimilating forces and blood supply. Each day we would take a small quantity, about as much as would be on the end of a knife - a table knife - or enough to "butter" as it were a cracker. Just spread this quantity over a cracker and eat it, once each day, WITH the meal - and with the meal at which the raw vegetables are taken. Take for three weeks, leave off a week, and then begin again.

20. And we would have one meal each day, whether noon or evening, consisting almost entirely - or including mostly - of the raw fresh vegetables. These may be taken in the form of a salad or the like. Combine especially such as lettuce, celery, with whatever other vegetables the body may desire; as peppers or tomatoes, carrots, beets, turnips - if these are all grated when they are prepared, it would be preferable; or mustard. Any or all of these are well. Red Cabbage especially, if this is grated very fine and prepared with the others, raw, would be well. An oil or a salad dressing may be used. All of these would not be used at once, of course, but as many as may be eaten combined at one meal during the day would be well. And at THIS meal take the Calcios, in the manner indicated.

21. Also we would begin with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance. This would be used every day, for thirty to sixty minutes, for a period of three weeks. Then leave off for two weeks. Then begin again. But the attachments for this body would be made differently from the ordinary; that is:

22. 1st day: The plate marked to always be attached FIRST, would be attached to the 9th dorsal plexus; while the other plate would be attached last, to the right wrist.

23. 2nd day: Make the first attachment to the 9th dorsal, the last to the left ankle.

24. 3rd day: The first attachment would be to the 9th dorsal, the other to the left wrist.

25. 4th day: First attach to the 9th dorsal, then to the right ankle.

26. 5th day: The first attachment would be to the 2nd cervical, the last to the 4th lumbar.

27. Then begin over again, continuing to rotate the

1654-1 Page 4

attachments each day in the manner indicated.

28. Keep the plates very clean and polished before each application to the body.

29. Once each week we would have a full hydrotherapy treatment; that is, a FULL massage gently given, after not too hot nor too high a heat but sufficient to bring about a respiratory reaction. Do not raise the temperature here too high, but just enough for the body to perspire well. Then have a thorough rubdown; using the salt rum rub along the spine; and especially the areas from the 9th dorsal to the end of spine; followed with not the rub alcohol but the GRAIN alcohol rub. And if the grain alcohol is massaged also over the abdomen, especially across the diaphragm area more than the lower portion of the abdomen, we find that it would be well for the body.

30. Give such a general hydrotherapy treatment, with such a massage, regularly every week for six or eight weeks; then leave off for two to three weeks; then it would be well to have same again.

31. In the diet, as has been indicated, keep this well balanced as to the alkalin and acid-producing foods. This would be given rather as an outline, though not ALL - of course - that may be taken:

32. Mornings - either a cereal or citrus fruits (not both at the same meal, however), with whole wheat toast, butter; coffee, tea or milk - either of these may be taken. No milk or cream should be used with the coffee OR with the tea.

33. Noons - preferably this would be the period when the raw vegetables should be eaten, and the Calcios taken; whether these are eaten with the vegetable juices or with cooked vegetables - this would be at the discretion of the body. However, do NOT have meats with the raw vegetables - or at the meal when the raw salad is taken, with the Calcios.

34. Evenings - a well-balanced meal with meats and cooked vegetables, though the meats preferably should consist of fish, fowl or lamb; or any of the wild game - these are well for the body. No fried foods at any time.

35. Take all of these things as indicated in the regular periods; and by the time there is the third or fourth cycle of the treatments, we will find great improvements. We would THEN give further instructions.

36. Ready for questions.
