Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1664].

3. In giving an interpretation of the records, these we choose from same with the ideal and the consideration of the physical, mental and spiritual experiences of the entity.

4. Also we give this interpretation with the desire and purpose that the information may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillthose purposes for which it entered this sojourn.

5. As mind is ever the builder, thus the material sojourns in the earth have a definite influence. And through the interpretations we may give the manner in which the entity applied its mental or mind self in relations to the material, as well as the spiritual, opportunities.

6. For, the purposes of an entity's sojourn in the earth are not merely to "make good" in the material plane, but that the entity may prepare itself for the eternal; which is of the spiritual.

7. Those periods of sojourn during the interims between the manifestations in materiality are indicated from the astrological symbols or signs. Not that the body (as known as a body, physical) sojourned in Mercury, Mars, Jupiter or any of the other planets of this particular solar system. But the use of the mental in the opportunities in relationships to the spiritual and physical is indicated by

1664-2 Page 2

a sojourn of the entity in the environs accredited with such an influence.

8. Thus, as we find here, these are the characteristics, as might be said, which arise as a composite of the mental or the spiritual and material aspects:

9. One often called stubborn, in it relationships with others.

10. One that may not allow others to be ahead. For the entity is a natural leader.

11. One that can adapt himself to most any environ; capable in a BUSINESS way. And the entity will make a material success of whatever is undertaken.

12. But do not allow material things to supplant or to be considered first and foremost in thy dealings with thy fellow man. For a material experience is only as a moment in eternity.

13. As has been the experience of the entity, there is much required - as a period of preparation. Study, thought and application all are needed, if an individual entity would accomplish a definite purpose.

14. The entity also finds that there are periods when it likes to be alone. And fortunate indeed is the entity who has applied or may so apply self as to find self good company.

15. At such periods the entity may lapse into what is sometimes called "day dreaming," and it is then given to - formulate in the mind of self ideals, and even able to visualize or to word same somewhat in a poetic nature. Then when there is a reverting from such, these are rather as pastimes, but should be maintained in the experience. And add to same much of that as may be gained, at such periods, from a study of the Word of Life, the Book, the Bible; meditating on those commands, those promises, those warnings. They are the words of life; and life, here, means that continuation of a consciousness, and the study of the relationships of self to the Creative Forces or God.

16. This kept as a rule, as one of the "musts", will save the entity many a disappointment in its dealings with men.

17. We find that the influence from Mercury brings a good judgment. The mental abilities are high.

18. From Jupiter we find the universal consciousness. This should be applied in the spiritual as well as the material life and the material applications. For it indicates the relationships having to do with things that will affect the masses. Just so the relationship to the masses in the material is manifested in the mental-spiritual by that relationship self bears to the Father, the Son and the Holy

1664-2 Page 3

Spirit. Know and realize that these, too, are a part of thy consciousness.

19. Venus we find afflicted with the Moon, as well as strength in the Sun. Thus we will find there are periods when the entity is attracted to, and attracted by, the opposite sex. Let not thy overfeelings in such bring any period of anxiety or of doubts in these directions, or to cause self to do that for which it would be sorry - just for the gratifying of a desire.

20. As to the appearances in the earth, and the effects these have upon the characteristics and the latent and manifested abilities in the entity's present experience, - not all may be given, but these are indicated in the urges at present, and for the next two or three cycles - this meaning periods of seven to ten years each:

21. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, when there were those settlings in the areas of the present birth; when there were those examples of application of individual ideals as to expansion towards those things which would make the lands a better place for living.

22. It was during those periods of Oglethorpe, when there were those extensions or expansions, and the making of comparisons as to what might be grown or developed in that particular land.

23. The entity then, in the name Herman Wentworth, was active in that which had to do with the control of those put in authority by that government, or governor of that particular land of Georgia.

24. Thus the various products of the soil, or those that would be adaptable in those particular areas, were the studies and the work or service of the entity through that period.

25. Hence things that are of a technical nature are of special interest to the entity, and also the manner in which individuals may apply themselves in relation to same.

26. Various characters of machines to take the place of toil, those activities in which the products of the soil might be preserved or made into things that are of use to man in his relationship one to another, were the studies of the entity. And yet something of the political power was manifested in the experience. But the entity used same wisely through that period.

27. Thus again in the present, as indicated, the entity may succeed in a material way in whatever field is chosen; and keep an even balance, if those suggestions are taken as indicated, that during such periods the entity meditate oft

1664-2 Page 4

upon the words of truth and the application of same in the dealings with the fellow man, in the business relationships.

28. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods of expansion - rather than of conquest when various lands were coming under the influence of the Roman rule; when choices were made of various individuals or groups to be stationed in varied lands - as in England, the isles of the sea, portions of northern Africa, western Asia and Asia Minor.

29. All of these were a part of the entity's experience; as the entity, then in the name Romoloue, was in the authority of overseeing the various groups that had been placed in position of power, for political as well as for economic reasons, in the varied lands.

30. Thus we find oft the dream of the entity to visit varied lands, either in person or by the reading of same.

31. There are periods (and these come rather as periods) in which the entity likes to read. And those of travel and of such close relationships are of particular interest to the entity, that deal with those phases of man's experience in varied lands.

32. Thus again we find the ability as a leader, the abilities to judge the abilities of groups or lands to produce certain needed things. These are of interest to the entity, and they offer a channel of outlet for the abilities, as well as the means or manners in which the entity may accomplish much in this particular experience.

33. Before that the entity was in the Yucatan land, when there were those establishings of the peoples who had escaped from Atlantis.

34. There we find that clothing, and things pertaining to precious jewels, were of special interest to the entity; the decorative art, and this applying to certain characters of textiles also was a portion of the activities.

35. For the entity then, while not the individual in authority, was of the same family; in the name then Tep-k-eux. In the experience the entity gained, and while disagreements arose among many of those because of the differences in opinions as to the application of the spiritual laws, these the entity brought better in control than most of those through that particular period.

36. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there was the building up of those activities by the cooperative forces with many lands; when individuals were raised to perform special activities of service that had to do with what today would be called vocational guidance.

37. There the entity was particularly interested in the

1664-2 Page 5

weavings of linens, preparations of paper, and those things which had to do with the keeping of records, and those activities in which there was the use of the stylus, and when styles were made - those instruments to make indentations and impressions, and those things that would prepare the linens and the fine cloths, as the weaving machines, even then.

38. These, as combined with the usages of these in the varied experiences of man, were the activities of the entity; in the name Pet-ran.

39. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, that to which it may attain, and how:

40. First, find thy ideal - spiritually; and hold to that. For, with same there is found the pattern of the conduct as to the relationships in a moral, religious and material way with the fellow man; knowing that the laws pertaining to such ideals are eternal. They are spiritual, then; also they are mental; and the results in the material are sure.

41. Then study to show thyself approved unto that ideal, in all phases of thy life, in thy dealings with others.

42. And in those fields of service in which ye deal with those things having to do with machines, or textiles, or paper, there may be the outlets with or through which the entity may accomplish that it chooses to do, and keep closer to the well-balanced spiritual and material life.

43. Jewels, or things of such natures, will in some manner play a part in the entity's experience; possibly wore in its relationships to those of the opposite sex, or the finding of heirlooms or the gatherings of same.

44. Keep the faith of the fathers, as was set in Jesus the Christ.

45. Ready for questions.

46. (Q) Considering my desire to finish the jobs I have started on the farm, also my desire to return to school in September, please advise me whether I should plan to return to North Carolina State College in September or wait until January 1943? (A) Wait until January. There are many of those things to be accomplished that mean much. For, to the self, not to complete a task is to feel that it has, at least in part, been a failure. Return to school, though, in January.

47. (Q) In which of the following should I specialize: Textile manufacturing, Textile Chemistry and Dyeing, Textile Management, Weaving and Designing, and Yarn Manufacturing? (A) Weaving and Designing.

48. (Q) Should I take any language other than English? (A) Take Spanish.

1664-2 Page 6

49. (Q) Considering the possibility of my being drawn into the service of my country, please advise how I may best serve in this emergency? (A) Keep in the ways and patterns thou hast set for thyself, and when these emergencies arise meet them; or, as we find, it is very doubtful whether you will be farther than just in preparations before the changes come. And the service thou hast set before thyself is sorely needed, and will be of such a nature as to keep better relationships especially with those that are of the Spanish speaking peoples to the south.

50. (Q) Should I apply for commission in the Navy or Army in addition to Textile course at North Carolina State in January 1943? (A) No; let this come rather as the GENERAL service, see?

51. (Q) What were my past associations with my mother, [1563]? What are the present urges and how may we be of mutual aid in mental and spiritual development? (A) In the experience before this, ye were acquaintances; and yet the mother, as now, was one to whom the entity looked for the last word and for that help which is of the mental. In the Yucatan experience the mother was then the companion, with whom ye disagreed; yet these in the present have an influence for good in the experience of each.

52. (Q) My father (deceased), [...]? (A) In that experience in Rome, the father (now deceased) was then as a helper or as a close friend.

53. (Q) My paternal grandfather, [...]? (A) We do not find this association save as of a mental nature.

54. (Q) My friend, [2815]? (A) This association should be better drawn by parallel; that is, as the associations of each were in the various appearances of various natures - sometimes working together, sometimes in opposition one to another - these would be the better interpreted by such comparisons.

55. (Q) At what time in my life should I marry, and what type of person? (A) Be sure it is not too soon! You'll have too many on the string to say what type of person! For they'll seek you as you seek them! Be careful there are not entanglements.
