1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, with special reference to injured nerve in right eye, hissing sound in head, condition of back and gall bladder; also suggestions for help and relief for this body, answering the questions that may be asked, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1666].

3. Now as we find, the disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body are very serious. While these are allowed to continue there gradually is being the softening in the segment or vertebra where an injury in times back has allowed for accumulations.

4. Thus the structural portions tend to soften, allowing for the cartilaginous forces between to impinge more and more the nerves of the sensory forces.

5. These as we find are in the vagus center as related to those in the lower cervical area; and the 2nd and 3rd dorsal area is also involved.

6. Thus there is the causing of the inclination for lack of activity through the functioning of the liver; this becoming a secondary condition to the effect as being created in the sensory system; and eventually without some activities or some hindrances we would find a gradual curvature in the spine and more and more disturbance to all the organs of the sensory forces.

7. As we find, these are already involved - but not as much as the auditory and the optic forces. And these as we find are not NECESSARILY of such a nature that help may not be brought, if all the applications and the precautions are taken in those directions in which there may be created a better balance in the system, and a releasing of those impingements in such a way that there may be strengthening brought through the activity of the circulatory forces to the organs of the sensory forces.

8. Thus the pressures may be removed in such a way and

1666-1 Page 2

manner as to allow rather the inclination for the growth FOR the DEVELOPMENT of optic forces, as well as for the auditory forces, as well as a releasing of those pressures that may and do prevent the activity in the liver and the upper hepatic circulation.

9. These as we find would require more of the creating a balance by the dietetics, or the adding of elements to the system for structural constructions through the system, as well as the removing of the pressures in the areas in the osteopathic way and manner.

10. Then there would be required the adding to the system of those activities to create the proper vibrations through the body, thus GRADUALLY relieving the disturbance, and providing a better condition in the activity of the forces to the system itself.

11. Hence as we find, these:

12. First we would have a GENERAL examination for the areas as indicated. To be sure it will be found that there CANNOT in the beginning be a great deal of pressure exerted in relieving the tensions in the particular areas indicated; but that there may be the coordination with the alignments in the other portions of the system - as from the 4th and 5th dorsal DOWNWARD, as well as from the 1st and 2nd cervical and even to the 3rd, as to relieve tension - and thus MAKING for the lack of the great nerve tension and anxiety.

13. But at each adjustment and treatment, there should be applied - over the areas where the tensions occur, and where the segments or the vertebrae themselves are being disturbed by activity - an equal combination of Olive Oil, Tincture of Myrrh and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. This is not to be PATTED on, yet not made a heavy rub; but let the body in the area ABSORB all of these properties that it will, see? for a treatment of three to four minutes. Then the excess may be sponged off with a little soda water or the like.

14. These should be kept up for a period of about four weeks, twice each week. Then have a rest period from same for about a week or ten days. Then have the manipulations again for at least another month.

15. Throughout the whole period, take internally the calcium in the form of Calicos. This would be taken ONCE each day, WITH THE NOON MEAL! just about as much as would be spread on a cracker. This would be left off, however, during the rest period from the manipulations.

16. Also throughout the period, except during the rest period, we would take a compound prepared in this manner - in these proportions:

1666-1 Page 3

Lime Water............................1 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium......4 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium....20 minims. The dose would be half a teaspoonful in a glass of water just before retiring.

17. Then as to the GENERAL DIET: Keep away from fried foods. Have plenty of vegetables and vegetable juices and fruits; with little meats, none fried - no red meat at any time; rather fish, fowl or lamb, and especially the bony pieces of chicken that is broiled or roasted - and the bones or gristly portions taken especially and NOT so much of the fats. Chew the bones and the marrow of same as a part of the diet whenever taken.

18. Do these.

19. And during the rest period from all the treatments, during the week or ten days, we would use the Radio-Active Appliance to make for the vibratory changes, or coordination and equalization of the system during such periods. The attachments would be alternated or circulated about the body in the ordinary manner; that is:

20. 1st day - the plate from the anode marked to be ALWAYS attached first, would be to the right wrist; while the other plate would be attached LAST to the left ankle.

21. 2nd day - first attachment would be to the left wrist, last to the right ankle.

22. 3rd day - make first attachment to the left ankle, last to the right wrist.

23. 4th day - the first would be attached to the right ankle, the last to the left wrist.

24. Thus a circle will have been made of the body in the attachments, the first attachment becoming the positive, the last the negative. Then commence over again.

25. But when the manipulations osteopathically, and the other properties to be taken internally, are begun again - we would then leave off the Appliance and only continue it AFTER the NEXT series of treatments with ALL the compounds as indicated. When used, it would be applied from thirty minutes to an hour each day - while resting.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) Is the optical nerve in my right eye irreparably injured? (A) As indicated, it is - to be sure - injured, BY the pressures and the lack of the supply of energies. But may be remedied, and stopped - IF these applications and suggestions in their fullness are carried out. If ALL is not to be taken, do not just take part of same!
