1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited, in the present life; also the former appearances on the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the present entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how; answering the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: (In going back over years from present - "1933 - yes - changes came about - '32 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called Miss [1669].
4. In giving the interpretations of the experiences of the entity through the material sojourns in the earth, as well as through the astrological aspects or sojourns in the interims between the activities in the consciousness of the earthly experiences - these are chosen with the desire and purpose to bring to the entity the consciousness of the errors, the shortcomings, as well as the good and the virtues.
5. For here we have an entity with the abilities to make, with the control of itself, an unusual experience of development through this present sojourn.
6. As we find, the entity is very positive - and oft tends to become argumentative with those who disagree. Hence the lesson to be learned in this experience is more that of tolerance. Arguments will seldom change the aspects or the views of any. And truth itself needs no champion, for it is of itself champion of champions - and needs no defense; only for self to live according to that which IS the truth!
7. Also we find the inclinations for the entity at times to become, when aggravated, rather severe in its criticisms of others. This should be tempered; for what one says of
1669-1 Page 2
another will usually be one's own state also - in one form or another.
8. Hence such criticisms would only create barriers, animosities, hates, disputes, corruptions - and these are never in THEIR reaping very beautiful to behold!
9. It is much easier to refrain from error - in speech or in activity - than to seek forgiveness for the word quickly spoken.
10. These influences should be brought to fruition in an ideal of spiritual helpfulness through the activities, rather than in arguments. Rather reason with individuals; not with argument but with truth as the base of the stand - and know who IS the author OF that truth which ye may so lightly proclaim, and yet not know the meaning of the manner of life or the living of one who may have proclaimed same!
11. Hence it is well to study to show thyself approved in all good consciousness to that which is an ideal of a spiritual concept, that may be LIVED and needs no boasting of!
12. For what you are yourself speaks so loud, few ever hear what you say!
13. In giving then the astrological aspects, or the influences from the interims of sojourn as related to same, and the appearances in the earth and the urges that arise from same, we find:
14. As indicated, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury - with Uranus - are rather the ruling forces or influences.
15. Hence we find one quiet of mien, save when aroused to aversions that are so easily a part of the entity as to cause at times anger.
16. Love of the beautiful.
17. The desire for home and home environs.
18. The love of travel - which would be, and which SHOULD be - a part of the entity's experience.
19. All of these become a part innate, and - depending upon what the entity does about same - will make for many of the changes in the material environs of the entity.
20. From Jupiter we find, while this entity's experience will deal with the masses or groups, it will be individual in its nature or activity; that is, the individual work or service, the individual activity will influence a great many individuals - whether it is done as in a secretarial position or as in the home or in travel.
21. For ALL are changed by contacting the entity.
22. Hence it behooves the entity to realize the influence it has upon those even it meets in passing.
23. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities of the body
1669-1 Page 3
- quick at resentment, and as quick to forgive.
24. This is also indicated in the Uranian influence, where extremes have been and will be a part of the entity's experience; and the entity seeks to be either very quiet or very hilarious; very much indulgent or very much set and quiet.
25. All of these are a part of the innate forces. And the entity exercises its will in the choice of those influences surrounding same, whether in this or that character of atmosphere as it may be termed - as to which of the courses it pursues.
26. As to the influences from the sojourns in the earth, we find these not so great in number, yet very definite changes have been wrought and will be wrought in the change of scene, the change of environ - just as the entity has found the great change in its thoughts, its visions in various contacts, various groups and various environments have brought many changes in the manner of thinking, of feeling, of expression.
27. So, as it brought through those experiences in the earthly sojourn, all will be reflected in the activities during this sojourn.
28. Before this we find the entity was in the eastern part of the French land, during those periods known as the America Revolution - or the reclaiming of same.
29. The entity's activities were in association with those who made for changes and brought new environs for the entity. Thus, as Charloveaux (?), the entity came to the American land during that experience with Schmidt.
30. In the experience the entity gained and lost; for the doubts and fear for those of its own household and the activities about it brought the considering of the material things above the spiritual aspects.
31. The physical and material should be rather the result of the mental and spiritual thought and activity. Thought itself may not change anything but the activity one takes through thought makes for a change in the environments and for the creating of a hereditary influence to those even whom the entity may contact or for whom it may be responsible.
32. From that sojourn, we find that in the present there may be drawn many changes in the environments and the activities in which the entity may find itself engaged - when it changes its associations in its relationships with individuals. And these will bring about experiences in keeping with that the entity sowed or did during that sojourn.
1669-1 Page 4
33. Before that we find the entity was in the land during the reign of Hezekiah, when the peoples of promise were taken into captivity.
34. There we find the entity was under the material hardships, and forgot not its own tenets and teachings that were given in the early part of its activities in the holy city and its environs there.
35. Thus, in the name Vistula, the entity's activities in those new environs, new scenes, among new faces and new activities, brought great experiences of development.
36. Yet little hates, petty malices, the desire for freedom - arise from those experiences.
37. One may be free indeed in thought, though the body may be bound in chains; and be much more free than those who are chained by their own consciousness in those things which are in keeping with the ideals in the material as well as mental and spiritual life.
38. These understandings the entity must gain through the abilities to curb self, in being too quickly outspoken when little resentments arise. For this once gained, the entity may again come to know much of those experiences that were gained even in the lands where foreign activities, foreign associations, foreign purposes, even foreign worship in the spiritual things were roundabout - yet the heart kept singing all the while the purposes of the living God.
39. And these should be aroused, and held to - "Let others do as they may but as for me and mine, we will serve a living God." Let these be as frontlets upon thine eyes, as those influences upon thine hands - yea, as that above all that would govern thy speech and thy activity! Thus ye will find that peace, that harmony, which is beyond price - and may indeed be called blessed by many!
40. For then ye LIVE, rather than just profess, thy relationships to thy Maker!
41. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were turmoils and strifes, when there was the banishment of the Priest - and when there were the turmoils within the experiences of the Natives as well as the sojourners there.
42. The entity was among those who took sides with the Priest and with those who followed him into banishment; yet the entity gained throughout; and the abilities were to write; the abilities as a scribe, the abilities in the secretarial direction, the abilities in the home building arise from the experiences of the entity through that sojourn, as Ar-Istuba.
43. In the experience the entity gained, and lost, and
1669-1 Page 5
gained; gained through those periods of giving self in service; and lost in self-indulgence and self-aggrandizement.
44. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
45. If that lesson of tolerance is learned in this experience, no one may even surmise as to how far the entity may advance spiritually and mentally. If there is intolerance, and the abilities to be argumentative are held to, many will be the tears shed, many will be the heartaches and sorrows through the experiences with the activities in changed environs.
46. Keep, then, that as indicated - let others do as they may; hold THOU to the faith of thy fathers! For HIS ways are not past finding out! They are not idealistic, they are IDEAL for every individual that seeks to know His face.
47. And to dwell in the house of the Lord for a day is greater than to live in the tents of the wicked for many seasons.
48. Ready for questions.
49. (Q) Considering my past experiences, would it be best for me to marry [1668], Washington, D.C.? (A) From the associations as we find - this is POSSIBLE to be made MOST worth while. But it will require that changes be made in the attitudes of EACH, if it is to be a happy union.
50. (Q) Would it be better for me to marry a man who has not been married before? (A) Ye have much to work out with him. Do it now or hereafter!
51. (Q) When would be the best time to consummate the marriage? (A) When they each have been willing not only by word but by intent and purpose to live the life that is to give and take! Let each be rather as a helpmeet, and not as a drudge to the other!
52. (Q) What is best manner for me to proceed to make my decision and carry out the plan? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto thy conscience.
