Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.

1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mr. [1674]; this we have had before.

3. In many respects conditions are very much bettered from that as we have had heretofore.

4. There ARE those conditions of which the body should take warnings, and be careful in the activities regarding same.

5. The cold and congestion are hard on the breathing as well as the heart, AND the abdominal area.

6. As we find, we would take a salts laxative as an alkalizer. This should cleanse the system, when we alkalize the body, from the cold, the cough, and the congestion.

7. We would take the Milk of Magnesia, then - Phillip's Milk of Magnesia. This may be taken at least two or three times a day, OR a large dose taken of evening when ready to retire.

8. Then take a saline - as the Eno Salts - of morning.

9. Do this for at least two to three days, and we will find the cold disappearing.

10. The circulation between the heart, the liver, the lungs, - there is a plethoric condition existent along the area between the heart and the liver. Part of this arises from the GENERAL condition of the body, as to weight and the like. Part arises from the lack of proper or sufficient eliminations.

11. These then, to be sure, tend to make the blood pressure higher than normal.

12. While this is not serious, unless there is kept a better elimination we may find this becoming more and more disturbing.

13. Occasionally - once or twice a month, or such a matter, - we would have a thorough colonic irrigation. This would

be most helpful for this body. But have this done scientifically; that is, do not attempt to do it for self; though after there has been the draining or the cleansing of the colon from the use of the first one or two scientifically given - then the regular use (by self) of the Tyrrell's Elevator as a means for better eliminations would be most beneficial.

14. Do that.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) May anything be given as to the heart conditions, which caused the Navy to reject me? (A) We have indicated the conditions existent, and these are the things against which to be warned; that is, the keeping of the colon cleansed.

17. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (You may know of a place in Portsmouth that gives the colonic irrigations; if not, we would refer you to Dr. James R. Parker, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk.) lk.)
