1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1678].
3. In giving the physical forces and disturbances as we find with this body, it is well that the manner of approach be outlined, and the sources of the information be given, as well as the character of disturbance and that as might be helpful in correcting same.
4. For the body thinks. This is rather indicating that such is unusual; but these we would present - at least for the body's consideration.
5. All manifestation of life is spirit. Hence matter, materiality, should be nothing. But when spirit is manifesting in a three-dimensional world of matter, form AND spirit, it becomes subject to the laws of materiality - which in themselves are temporal, and thus subject to decay or disintegration.
6. Hence when there are disturbances of a nature that are of the material, the addition of any influence or force or power for helpfulness - if it is conceived in spirit and paralleled in its application by constructive mental forces - is but adding life, or spirit, to a temporal thing or experience for producing an effect or a continuity of experience in that particular sphere.
7. As we find, then, the body is body-physical, mental-physical and SPIRITUAL. Thus the body is subject to the influences in the natural processes in materiality, or a third dimensional plane.
8. In this particular body we find there is a slowing up of the circulation; thus causing throughout the system the LACK of proper or full eliminations. This then slows the activity of the organs as related to assimilation, or
1678-1 Page 2
digestion and assimilation, and distribution of revivifying forces or energies - as would be the natural process of such an activity in the system.
9. Thus we find those periods when the body would have, does have, sluggishness - rather than dis-ease; an apathy rather than that of buoyancy; with aches or stiffness in the extremities - limbs and arms, fingers at times. These are the results or effects of this condition indicated as being a part of the physical active forces of the body itself.
10. These as we find then are rather GENERAL in their nature. They become more specific at times when it is found that there is not the ability to assimilate or digest those things which have heretofore been rather the choice of the appetite of the body. Those things in the physical activities of the body apparently are no longer a stimuli to the emotional natures of the body, whether these be in associations with others in their daily relationships or activity or whether in activities for a given purpose or the like.
11. Where heretofore all such activities have brought an expectancy to the body, exuberance or joy, they now become rather those of dreads, those of fears in the sense that the body feels that there must be other things that may be done that may fill the place.
12. All of these then we find are the outward effects or manifestations of direction of energies that have lost either their influence or become so filled with the poisons of the system as it were as to cause this character and nature of reaction through the body.
13. The liver, the kidneys - as well as the circulatory forces as related to or combined with the heart, the lungs - ALL become involved. This is not to indicate that there are organic disturbances in either of these in the present, but rather that there is a slowing up of the activities in these - and thus an unbalancing of the chemical reaction of the physical forces is gradually taking place.
14. Then as we find, to add to the influences of the body, in natures that would be in keeping with the character or nature of disturbances, and to keep as it were uniformity, cooperative forces, coagulative forces for all influences of the activities of the system, we would not use strong medicines - or not other than specific activities within self, as related to some mechanical applications.
15. Once a week we would have a thorough hydrotherapy treatment. First stimulate the system through a sweat; with not too high a temperature raised, by dry heat; but rather through a Fume Bath as combined with dry heat, to stimulate
1678-1 Page 3
the activity of the superficial circulation and the eliminations as related to the perspiratory system.
16. Then, following the hot and cold shower, spray or bath, have a thorough rubdown; preferably with salt rum - that is, bay rum with salt. This is to stimulate and quickly invigorate; rubbing TOWARDS the body, see? from the tips of the extremities TOWARDS the body, rather than away from the body.
17. Afterwards have a thorough rubdown, of course, with the rub alcohol.
18. Then (at the same treatment, you see) have a stimuli of the very low form of electrical forces, or added life as it were. These would preferably be the HIGH vibrations; hence (after the body is thoroughly dried from the hydrotherapy measures and the masseur's treatment) use the Violet Ray (hand machine, bulb applicator) along the cerebrospinal system. This would be best applied first to the arms especially, on the under part of same, towards the body; then from the head and neck to the central portion of the spine or to the 9th dorsal; then from the lower portion of the limbs along the sciatic center UP the body - across the sacral and the caecum areas, or the lower portion of the abdominal area - but across the back and across the sacral, the lumbar, to the 9th dorsal. Then use in a comparative or half circle across the 9th dorsal, or the diaphragm area. The whole treatment should last for about a minute or a minute and a half, with the Violet Ray, you see; and it should be given at least thirty to forty minutes AFTER the hydrotherapy applications.
19. If periods appear when the eliminations are lacking through alimentary canal (even with these stimulations to cerebrospinal as well as the superficial circulation), then use colonic irrigations. Not just enemas, but the internal bath; that it may make for the ability of the organs of the system through their stimulated activity of the spiritual forces within the application as well as within self to replenish.
20. For all healing is of a spiritual nature, whether it is the application from mechanical means, medicinal, suggestive or what - or the laying on of hands.
21. And these characters as indicated are only to make for an activity to produce better coordinating, cooperating of forces of all the reproductive system itself as related to assimilation and distribution of assimilated forces, and to keep the eliminations in balance.
22. Do these and as we find very soon we should have near to normal forces in this body, [1678].

23. In the matter of the diet, this as we find should become rather a part and parcel of the balance to be kept. The entity is not to become then as one subject only to a routine diet, but is to keep a well-balance with especially fruits and nuts, and the vegetables that would be combined or cooked in their OWN juices, rather than with other natures. And in these we would keep about an eighty percent alkalin to a twenty percent acid-producing diet. Thus we will bring, with the stimulations of the natures indicated, the better forces of the body.
24. And keep, ever, in the applications - for the physical rejuvenation as well as in the daily meditations - close to the creative forces that are found in Him alone.
