Time of Reading 11:35 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions; also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1685].
3. Now, as we find, there are some disturbances which prevent the normal functioning and activities of the body. These, as we find, have to do with a glandular disturbance, which has been produced by the necessity of the system's attempting to produce certain characters of influences in the bloodstream.
4. Hence, as we find, there is an impoverishment in portions of the activity and excesses in other activities.
5. These, as we find, are the disturbances with this body.
6. Then, these are the conditions as we find with this body, [1685], we are speaking of, present in this room:
7. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, as we find, as has been indicated, there are two disturbing factors; and these have prevented, do prevent normal forces being active through the system. Though the body may appear to be STRONG, the weaknesses that arise, the tendencies for the body to easily tire, arise from the lack of the vitality or energy that is needed in excess activity for the better functionings of the system.
8. In the other portions of the glandular functioning, through the assimilation, we find there has been the excess of a leucocyte count in the system. This then all tends to make for the system's destroying of the red blood cells for the making of the white blood cells, or the leucocyte. This makes for or produces those inclinations through portions of the system in the lymph circulation for ACUTE conditions to arise, when portions of the extremities, or portions of the torso or abdomen through which there has been or is the arising of the condition, have those burning, sinking sensations that make for irritations to the nerve system.
1685-1 Page 2
9. All of these arise then, as we find, from this unbalanced condition which has been produced through glandular and the blood supplies of the body as related to same.
10. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, as we find, where there are those stresses upon portions of the system, where there is especially the coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, pressures are produced in parts of the body by this incoordination - especially through the lumbar and the lower dorsal area - and these then find expression in the condition as indicated that affects parts of the body at times.
11. These then are effects, rather than causes to the nerve system; though the nerve system, or systems suffer from the disturbance that arises there.
12. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are, as we find, very good.
13. In the sensory system we find, owing to the excesses that have been a part of the activity of the system, these at times suffer under the disturbance of becoming strained; as to hearing, as to the vision, as to the taste, as to the touch; each becoming subservient, as it were, to the reactions in the system.
14. And it is then a reflex condition rather than a disturbing force within the organ or the sensory system itself.
15. And with the correction of those influences that produce the disturbance, we find that these would come near to normal.
16. In the throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx - wherever there has been and is a greater activity of the lymph and the emunctory forces, owing to the stresses upon these, we find the soft tissue through these portions gives at times disturbance in the form of rather feeling AWARE OF same as being a fullness or heaviness in same - but in the present these are still REFLEX conditions.
17. Through the heart's activity we find that irregularity exists, owing to the very nature of the activity upon the circulatory forces. This, as we find, is a nerve condition and not an organic condition.
18. In the digestive system, owing to the upsetting of the glandular forces as related to digestion, we find these at times cause disturbances. But with a balancing of the condition these we find should be brought near to normal forces.
19. Through the abdominal area and those portions of the system where there have been those activities of the inability of the body to assume its normal position or
1685-1 Page 3
normal condition, these, we find, still cause disturbance and are the sources from which much of the nerve forces of the body react.
20. In the organs of the pelvis, however, and through the activities of same, we find near to normal reactions save the sympathetic conditions as arise from the nerve forces being disturbed in the body.
21. As we find, then, in making applications where we would bring to the body the normal forces and influences, bringing about those activities in which there would be brought a normal reaction to the system:
22. First we would begin with the use of the low electrical forces as in the Wet Cell Appliance carrying into the system the vibrations that would work with the glandular forces, and those concurrent with same that would act as healing to not only portions of the blood supply - where there has been an excess - but carrying those influences as to create a normal balance with same.
23. Hence, we find, we would vary; one day use Atomidine - commercial strength solution. The small plate would be attached to the 4th lumbar, while the larger plate - through which the Atomidine passes - would be attached to the umbilicus and lacteal duct plexus - or at the umbilical lacteal duct cross section. This would be for this body about three fingers to the right from the navel center. The larger plate would be attached there, you see, through which the solution passes - so that the vibratory forces may be active upon the assimilating ducts and glands.
24. The next day we would use the Spirits of Camphor, full strength; not in the same leads or containers. The small plate would be attached to the 9th dorsal or the solar plexus center, while the larger - through which the solution passes - would be attached to the same area or place as the day before; the lacteal duct plexus.
25. Attach the Appliance thusly, each day, for a period of thirty minutes; one day making the attachments for the Atomidine, the next the Camphor. Change the chemicals for recharging the Appliance every thirty days. Change the Atomidine and Camphor solutions every thirty days. Keep the plates clean and the connections clean, by the use of the emery paper over same.
26. Each evening, massage gently over the whole of the abdominal area an equal combination of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh. Heat the Oil to add the Myrrh.
27. Once a week, for six to eight weeks, have a gentle adjustment - not deeply given, but to align all of the cerebrospinal system with the functionings of the system, as
1685-1 Page 4
will be altered through the vibratory forces of those properties indicated.
28. In the matter of the diet, keep free from fats or fried foods. Pastries, pies or the like may be taken in moderation. If meats are taken, preferably fish, fowl or lamb. Do not eat white bread, spaghetti or potatoes - any two at the same meal. These may be taken in moderation, but do not COMBINE these at once.
29. Do these and we will find we will bring the better forces for this body.
30. Do that.
31. (Q) What should be done for constipation? (A) If there is the massage over the abdomen each evening as indicated, we find that - especially with the vibrations of the Camphor - this will do much to relieve these disturbances. And with the diet followed along the lines as indicated, this is better than dosages. When it is necessary for eliminations to be increased, use vegetable compounds in preference to the minerals as an eliminant.
32. (Q) Should goitre be removed by operation? (A) Not necessary if there is the use of the Atomidine in the system to prevent the glandular forces becoming clogged by the activity of those very conditions as indicated. Then with the massage, or the OSTEOPATHIC massage and adjustment, we will find we will ELIMINATE same from the system.
33. (Q) What should be done for indigestion? (A) All of these disturbances have been included and indicated in that given. When there are the excesses of the acidity, or the overflowing of the lactic fluids - or the production of indigestion then we would use Alcaroid - twenty to thirty minutes after the meal, or when it is felt - half a teaspoonful in two glasses of water. Dissolve it in a small quantity of water, fill the glass, then drink another glass of water with same. These will act for producing a balance through the duodenum and the lower portion of the stomach proper.
34. (Q) For nervousness? (A) All of these have been indicated. Use the Appliance for this, as well as the adjustments through the conditions along the cerebrospinal system.
35. (Q) What causes gas around the heart?
1685-1 Page 5
(A) Excess acidity, produced by the overactivity of the amount of the influence for the LYMPH flow through these portions - or this is called upon and it produces gas. As we find, with the use of the Alcaroid, this should be eliminated - especially if the massages for the abdomen are kept up each evening. Extend this up over the whole area of the stomach, including the lower stomach or the duodenum - about the gall duct and liver area; the gentle massage with the Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh. And when this is done, of course, the area may be sponged off afterwards with a little soda water if desired. Do these and we will bring for this body the near to normal forces.
