R E A D I N G
Born March 23, 1896, in Niles, Ohio. Time of Reading 8:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio. [As of 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time appointment. A Life Reading; it was taken from birth data rather than exact whereabouts.]
1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development of the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions that may be asked.
2. EC: (In going back over years from present - 1918 - yes, the changes as came - '17, '16 - etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called Miss [1686].
4. In giving the interpretations, that is chosen with the desire and hope that the influences - through the knowledge of the urges as arise, latent and manifested - may become helpful experiences to the body through this sojourn.
5. As we find, but without respect of what the entity has done, these are latent - and it will depend upon the application of self as to what will be done with same.
6. In the early experiences, or as a young child, the entity was inclined to be tomboyish, and to play or engage in games as with boys.
7. The natural bent or trend is for scientific investigation. And if there is the application or study in the latter portion of the experience the entity will have the opportunity for carrying on such investigation or research. For the means or wherewithal WILL - through unexpected sources - become a part of the experience of the
1686-1 Page 2
entity.
8. As to the astrological aspects, we find these are from sojourns between the earthly appearances or activities in material forms; and are latent and manifested through the dream urge - not vision, but daydream, or the intents that arise from associations or activities.
9. Hence the entity becomes intense at times; capable of producing those influences within self where it may shut itself entirely away from an influence or activity.
10. We find Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus making for the greater influences, then:
11. The high mental abilities; the desire for scientific research; the abilities to hold its place with others in whatever field of study or endeavor the entity may undertake. These arise from the innate urges, and these should be tempered with the spiritual urges that arise rather spasmodically from the universal urge in the Uranian experience.
12. For the occult and the mysterious become a part of the experience, yet the entity finds more in the spiritual forces; and then it will lay aside all for the time being.
13. In Venus we find the beauty of the body, as well as the abilities to see beauty in all of the associations and activities, and the abilities to make for friendships especially with those of the opposite sex; the abilities to hold itself as equal to those activities of the opposite sex, as from the activities in the young period of development - which arise from those innate influences and associations in the mental self respecting such conditions.
14. From Jupiter we find the universal consciousness; the desire to use self for helpfulness in the experiences and lives of others. All these become a part of the entity, innately.
15. As to the appearances in the earth, these as we find have been quite varied - that have an influence upon the experiences of the entity in the present. These then are not all, but when there are those changes in the environs, in the application of self for the research - in which it appears the entity WILL be engaged, not only as a desire of the mental self but as innate and as the expression of self - then there may be given those changes as may be wrought in those directions.
16. THESE then we find as influencing in the present:
17. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity or environs, but during those periods when there were the greater activities in and about the southernmost portion of the lake - or what is now Toledo,
1686-1 Page 3
Cleveland, and those activities during the early settlings.
18. There we find the entity's activities were engaged in keeping records of the activities for the traders; not only the natives but those of her own peoples. Hence the entity dealt with things, yet saw beauty in the very activity of the furs, beauties of friendships, the beauties of the product of the forest, and of all portions of the land that become a part of the entity's experience.
19. Hence we find in the present the urges latent and manifested in THINGS as well as conditions in the experiences and lives of others; those things and conditions that make, as it were, the motivating forces in the activities of groups and of individuals become a part of the entity's experience.
20. Then the entity was in the name Jennie Kelder; and in the experience the entity gained throughout - through those influences as made for the increasing of pacts between the various groups.
21. And the entity in the present experience has been the mediator or inter-mediator between many troublesome conditions that have arisen between individuals of various factions, respecting things and conditions in the affairs of others.
22. Before that we find the entity was in the land where there was the building of the 'city in the hills and the plains,' or in the Persian experience - when there were those activities with the teacher or leader Uhjltd there.
23. The entity was of the Persian peoples, and was what would be termed in the present as a seeress, or as an enchantress.
24. But coming under the influence and activities of the teacher, the entity became rather the teacher and the healer in those activities that were carried on there; delving through those activities not only into the experiences of the various groups and factions that came as the natural consequence of the trade routes upon which those activities were carried on, but under the varied environments in which varied groups worked - and the motivating forces as to their religious and their home activity. All became a part of the entity's experience. As a writer, as a director did the entity gain and give the greater service through those experiences.
25. And as we find, in the present the greater work will be done in the research as to mechanical as well as the occult or mystical forces in which the entity MAY - THROUGH its very study - gain a great helpful force for self as well as that it may minister to others.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, when there were those separations.
27. The entity was among the groups that came into the Egyptian land; and among those that aided in the establishing of those activities in the Temple of Sacrifice.
28. Hence as we find, in its abilities in keeping rules, regulations - or things that are just rote to others - the entity may make same applicable in its own experience for a very helpful influence.
29. Keep then those activities in the way in which these developments may make for a greater knowledge, greater development; and we will find the greater experiences coming to the entity.
30. Then the name was Del-Ar-Ar.
31. As to the abilities of the entity, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
32. First, know thy ideal - and that it must be founded in the spiritual rather than the temporal. Know that those things that are temporal are material, while those things that are spiritual are everlasting.
33. Know in what ye believe and WHO is its author. Know that ye have been called. ANSWER in and to the divine within self.
34. Ready for questions.
35. (Q) Am I in the business to which I am best adapted? (A) For the present; and - as has been indicated - as self prepares self for this research, the means, the modes, the manners and the wherewithal will come to the entity.
36. (Q) Will I marry and keep house? (A) This is a choice - if the entity so desires. This may be the channel through which there may come the means, or wherewithal for the research. But DO NOT give up the research!
37. (Q) Any advice as to the meeting I am to attend on the 16th, as to decisions? (A) Know in all that that which has been indicated must be the guiding light. Not for convenience but for the opportunities of bringing to many the truths that make the world better for their having lived in same.
