Born March 31, 1906, in Norfolk, Virginia. Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited, in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name and that in each life which built or retarded the development of the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1695].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire that what may be gained from a study of this analysis of self, and that which prompts the activity under the varied environments and influences, may be a helpful experience for the entity.
4. The astrological aspects are only urges, yet we find that innately they become a greater part of the experience for this entity.
5. For as indicated in the experience of the entity, many would call the entity impractical because it dreams and thinks a great deal. Yet if the influences are studied that are the experience of every entity, and not merely studied but conclusions reached by this entity - so that the philosophies of life are understood, and the manifestations of the motivative influences in the experiences of self as well as that which moves others - we find that the entity will be able to accomplish ANY activity in which it chooses to engage itself.
6. While such influences or urges that appear are not understood by merely the material mind, we find that they are the real forces and powers in the experience of every soul.
1695-1 Page 2
7. As to the astrological aspects for the entity, these are not influencing because the entity was born under this or that sign, this or that planet or star being in a certain or given position. It is true that there is a guide or guard for each and every entity or soul, or a developing influence that may be from the entity's own activities as a new star in the universe. But it is rather that there may be in the experience of each soul the truth of that which has been given of old, that He hath not willed that any soul should perish but hath provided with every temptation a way, a means of escape.
8. Hence as the entity studies to know the purpose of the entering of each soul into a material experience, it may gather a little here, a little there, of the true relationships each soul bears to the Creative Forces; and as to how these may be made manifest in the dealings with its fellow men it meets in passing day by day.
9. For it is rather line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little; rather than any great experience that would shake or shatter the whole purposes of an individual entity during a given experience.
10. From those astrological aspects that become as the signposts or the inclinations in the innate forces of the entity, then, we find these as the ruling forces: Venus, Uranus, Jupiter with Mars becoming as a part of the experience of the entity's whole activities in this sojourn.
11. Venus indicates as it were the temperament, the abilities, the qualities, the virtues of the entity as to manifestation. Hence in art, in ANY of its forms; music, or that requiring detail work or study or application, are the fields through which the entity may find an outlet for the expression of itself, of its abilities, of its virtues, of its powers and activities. This is due, of course, to the application self has made in coordination with such in its experiences through the varied sojourns in the earth.
12. That these may be extreme is indicated in the Uranian experience. Thus - though the entity may have in its ideas and its mind high purposes, and the conditions of material activity are those in which great promise may come for the attaining or reaching its goal in this or that direction - we find that little things, a word here, an unkind expression there, may cast the entity into the depths of despair or disappointment. Yet the very same expressions set in reverse might again raise the hopes of the entity to such heights that it would dare to do most anything for the accomplishing of that as it has set before itself.
13. Hence, as has been indicated, the study of those
1695-1 Page 3
motivative influences in the experience of each and every soul should be made by the entity - and these understood, and CONCLUSIONS and PRINCIPLES drawn from same would enable the entity to meet all such disturbing influences.
14. And while not remaining as it were upon the mountain tops at all times, it would NOT become so discouraged as to give way to the weaker self as it has done in many of its experiences in the present sojourn.
15. From the influences in Mars, as well as Jupiter, we find indicated rather anger or madness or wrath on the part of others more than of self. For while the entity has not gotten to where it is not able to be angry, we find that it has attained to that position where it may be angry and yet sin not.
16. But leave off rather those inclinations to hold grudges. Let such experiences be rather as not having been. SEE the light! For know, as ye may learn from the study of the motivative forces of mind, matter and spirit, if one but sets the face toward the light the shadows fall far behind.
17. As to the sojourns that become as manifestations in the emotions of the body, finding greater expression in what may be called the sense forces of the body itself, we find that these have been and are rather a part of the PHYSICAL experience of THIS entity. For disappointments in the past have meant so much as to undermine the very purposes of the entity. And if the entity will gain rather that understanding that He who is the Giver of life and of all good and perfect gifts has promised to stand in thy stead, then these disappointments will not become as stumbling-stones but rather as stepping-stones to gaining a better understanding and a closer walk and a closer relationship to life that IS eternal in its concept.
18. Look not then on that which is of the past, but lift up thine eyes to the hills of hope, that are set in the promises of the Lord of the Way, the Bread of Life, the Water of Life. And know that the place, the position, the environ in which ye find thyself in the present is that from which the start IS to be made for the greater understanding. And He, having willed, having purposed that thy soul shall be as one with Him, will guide thee day by day - if ye will lean upon the everlasting arm as is promised in Him.
19. Then, as to the appearances and sojourns in the earth:
20. Before this we find the entity was in the land now known as the French, following the periods of the Revolution; during the reestablishing of many of those peoples who were put in a position of turmoil mentally as well as materially by the outcomes from same.
1695-1 Page 4
21. It was when there were uprisings and those activities that set every man as it were at naught or against his neighbor.
22. During that period we find that many were the associates of the entity that went to, came to the promised land - or to the land of the entity's present sojourn; yet the entity came not during that experience.
23. Hence we find there is innately in the present oft that wonderment as to whether some other land, some other clime, some other circumstance or conditions would not give an opportunity for that the entity innately and latently feels that is seeking expression within self.
24. But know rather that ye have builded that whereunto ye are meeting in the present; as indicated in thy desires through those experiences - as Jean Cheneult - that made for the seeking of expressions with the companionship.
25. Hence BEGIN where ye ARE - as has been given!
26. Through the experiences there the entity gained much through detailed matters pertaining to weaving, some painting, some artistic endeavors. And the natural intent or bent towards artistic forces arises much from that experience; as also do the abilities of the entity with the use of the needle. All of these become innately the abilities, and the directions these take in the present depend upon how much the application of self is manifested.
27. In applying self, then, know from those things indicated that as ye use that thou hast in hand day by day the next step may be given thee. Not all at once, for these become rather overpowering if more is gained than may be used in the present.
28. Before that we find the entity was in portions of Turkey, or during the periods when they were known as the land of Laodicea; when there were the activities and the ministering and preaching of those individuals who had been a part of the movement known as the Christian.
29. The entity then was one in the land of Laodicea, and a worker in the church established there. For a part of those activities were in the household of the entity who then was in the capacity as a weaver of the linens and the brocades that were a part of each household's activities, or the family dress.
30. Then in the name Theresa, the entity gained through the experience; by the abilities of the counsel gained by the entity's activities and associations with the leaders - or the bishops, or bishop of the church there.
31. And the counsel the entity gave to those in those activities for their continuance in the purposes to which
1695-1 Page 5
each and every soul was called, was the influence that made for the development during that sojourn.
32. In the present from same we find the entity's abilities in those things artistic; the entity's desire for the study of the unseen influences and forces, or those things that are rather in the form of knowledge that is not of a concrete nature but rather taken as by faith.
33. As given, if these are properly applied, and if judgments are reached, then the entity may accomplish whatever it may set its mind to do.
34. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Persian or Arabian, when the peoples from Greece came into the land for the despoiling of same.
35. The entity was among those peoples as the first to be born in that unusual environment or surrounding. Hence the entity grew up in that unusual environment, partaking of the oriental as well as the Egyptian, as well as the early activities and experiences of the Grecian culture, as well as the Grecian activities that were of the nature to undo the peoples of the Arabian land.
36. Coming under the teachings then of the companions of Uhjltd, and the helpers or aides, the entity grew to be among the leaders in the musical instruments, and especially in the drums and the harp did the entity excel.
37. And in the present the entity may find that there are tones upon certain characters of drums that, as it were, harp upon the very chords of the inner being of the entity, to arouse something to activity that seems far away - yet is aroused only, as it were, by the sound of such.
38. These are experiences which if understood may be used for helpful influences in the present.
39. The name then was Saiadai.
40. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of the reconstruction, or those activities in which there were the correlations of the activities of the peoples from the Atlantean land, as well as the Natives, and the directing forces of the Priest.
41. The entity was among those peoples who were part Egyptian, part Atlantean.
42. Hence again the entity came into those activities in which there was the preparing for the presenting of ways and manners in which the race might be changed.
43. Hence we will find in the present the peculiar feeling the entity has in regard to relationships with others of the opposite sex; and the activities in which there are those things in which others in regard to same call the entity impractical.
1695-1 Page 6
44. Hold to that thou hast gained from those experiences, as Shu-Su-Mu-Lu-r!
45. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
46. First, as indicated, analyze thyself, thy purposes, thy desires. KNOW in self whether these arise from the promptings of thine own desire for a laudation of thine own PURPOSE, or that there may be an expression of the glory of the Creative Forces within self.
47. Then, know those factors that are the motivative influences in the mental, the spiritual, as well as the material lives of individuals. Thus ye may gain an ideal whereunto ye may apply self in such manners - either in detailed activity of ANY nature, or in a household wherein the home may be brought about. But lose not thy ideal as thou hast in respect to same. Know in WHOM and in what ye have believed.
48. In music, in art, ye may find an outlet for the expressions of the abilities of self, and through same ye may draw closer to that realm of the inter-between wherein the love of the Father as shown to the children of men may find a way and manner of expressing self - whether in color or in chords. As such ye may gain the abilities to direct again even as Theresa in Laodicea!
49. Ready for questions.
50. (Q) Do I have any special psychic ability, and if so how is the best way to use it? (A) As indicated, especial psychic ability - and the way to develop same is in the manner as indicated. Know that which MOVES the mental, the spiritual, the physical. Do not confuse same, but through the intonations from kinds of music or colors ye may attune thyself. But know to WHAT ye are ATTUNING! For even as the incense in the holy of holies was not the power of God, but rather the attuning of the finite mind to an infinite expression - be NOT overcome with the material expressions but seek rather that as He hath given, "I will meet thee within thine own self."
51. (Q) What caused me to hear voices, and extraordinary noises, once several years ago, and once about one year ago? (A) When ye were close in attune through the CHARACTER of noises as indicated that arouse the inner self.
52. (Q) For what activity am I best suited, and how may I best prepare myself for it? (A) As indicated, in any artistic or musical activity. PREPARING self is the preparation first of the spiritual attitude, the mental desire, the physical attainment by accomplishment of same.
1695-1 Page 7
53. (Q) Would I be happier or more contented married or single? (A) Remember that as indicated, that has held thee apart. When ye meet that one whom ye may wholly, WHOLLY understand, ye may make a wonderful union. Without that - no.
54. (Q) What relationship is there between my mother and myself, and what have we to work out together in this life, if anything? (A) Where individuals come together in such an association, EVER there is something to be worked out. For one has been or is dependent upon the other for some expression or some means or manner of reaching a development or an attunement to the Creative Forces in the experiences of each. Just as ye have been reversed in those experiences through the sojourn of self in the French land, yet because ye were left there has seemed oft in the association and in the present experience that there was NOT dependence one upon another. But ye are! That to be worked out - the knowledge of not duty, but OPPORTUNITY!
55. (Q) Would it be better for me to live in one particular locality, or to travel? (A) When self has attuned self through the study and the application of self in those manners indicated, there will be travel.
