1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked concerning her condition.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1698].
3. Now as we find, conditions are well advanced; and the system has adjusted itself to the disturbances. Yet we find that with persistence, and consistent application of the influences to overcome the sources of infection which cause the lack of proper lymph flow through the superficial circulation - and thus affecting the body throughout - the body may be greatly relieved, and there may be brought about a better ability for activity.
4. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1698] we are speaking of:
5. There are in the blood supply the indications of high infectious forces through the alimentary canal, as associated with the activity of eliminations.
6. Thus there is produced in the blood stream the insufficient quantity of the plasms that produce the greater white blood supply. Not the leucocyte but rather the lymph and the emunctory circulation.
7. Hence the inflammation of these in the areas where the joints and the tendons have the greater supply of the mucous membranes, or those that form the cushion and the tendons about same have suffered and do suffer from the lack of the nutrition.
8. These have brought conditions which exist in the present.
9. The stress, or the greater amount of disturbance arises naturally by the pressure upon the nerve system; and this making for encasement as it were through the hardening portions prevents the nerve supply then from giving the
1698-1 Page 2
impetus for the proper circulation.
10. Thus, with the reduction in the quantity and quality of the blood, and with the lacking in eliminations, there becomes - as indicated in this body - a great deficiency in superficial circulation. Yet we find where there have been conditions such that the inflammation causes accumulations about joints; as knees, hands, feet and limbs.
11. Then as we find, in making corrective forces, many conditions must be taken into consideration. As indicated, there must be not only the removal of the causes of the disturbance but the applications such that there may be the absorption of the activities within the accumulations; and the activity of BOTH of these related to the whole of the circulation as well as the muscular and structural portions of the body, to build upon.
12. Hence we will find that a SERIES of applications must be made, with changes in same AS there are the gradual developments or changes in the system.
13. First then, as we find, we would begin with properties that may cleanse the whole glandular system; so that, as the body begins to respond, the formation through the glandular forces of that as assimilated will be building towards normalcy for the body.
14. Begin first then with Atomidine - commercial strength; one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal each day for three days. Then the next three days take TWO minims; the next three days take THREE minims as a dose.
15. Then leave off the Atomidine, after the nine days of taking same as indicated, you see; and begin then with saturated solution of Epsom Salts in Packs over the joints and those portions of the body where the stiffness or soreness is most pronounced, and especially these should be put - as well as the extremities - over the liver and gall duct and right side of the body, as well as ACROSS the back lower down - that is, across the lumbar area. These would be applied in series, you see; for an hour to an hour and a half once each day - for three days.
16. Then begin with the NEXT series of Atomidine, taking the one minim for three days, and so on, until the three minims are taken as indicated - making a series of nine days again, you see.
17. Then have the Epsom Salts Packs again. Then have another series of the Atomidine.
18. THEN, after the THIRD of the Atomidine series, we would leave this off; and begin with taking internally the Chloride of Gold AND Bromide of Soda. Prepare these in separate solutions, and only add them when the dosage is to
1698-1 Page 3
be taken. The Chloride of Gold Solution would be prepared in the proportions of one grain to ten ounces of distilled Water. The Bromide of Soda Solution would be in the proportion of one grain to one ounce of Distilled Water. Keep these separate. The dosage would be preferably in the evening, rather than morning, and would be taken in this manner:
19. 1st day - 1 minim of the Gold Solution and 2 minims of the Bromide of Soda Solution in a quarter glass of water.
20. 2nd day - 2 minims of the Gold Solution, 4 minims of the Soda Solution.
21. 3rd day - 3 minims of the Gold Solution, 6 minims of the Soda Solution.
22. Continue increasing the Gold solution one minim each day, and the Soda Solution in the proportion indicated, until five minims of the Gold Solution are being taken and ten minims of the Soda Solution. This would be a five-day series, you see.
23. Then leave off.
24. And give the body a BATH in a saturated solution (or nearly so) of Epsom Salts. This would mean at least twenty-five POUNDS of Epsom Salts in thirty to forty gallons of water, as warm as the body can stand. Remain in the Bath for at least twenty to twenty-five minutes, and the body should be MASSAGED while in the Bath - by the one giving the Bath, or the one who puts the body in and takes it out, see! Massage especially over the limbs where contraction has made disturbances.
25. When the body is taken out of the Bath, rub the body down thoroughly with a heavy coarse towel. Then massage over the areas where stiffness has been, with a solution prepared in this manner:
26. To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil, add - in the ORDER given, NOT in just ANY order: Oil of Peanuts..................1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood...............1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root.........1/4 ounce. Shake these together, for they will tend to separate; and massage into the spine and limbs - ALL the body will absorb!
27. Then after resting for three days, begin with the Atomidine again; one minim, increasing THEN one minim EACH DAY until five minims are being taken.
28. Then leave off for three days.
29. Then begin with the Gold and Soda Solutions again for a period of five days, increasing from the one minim of the
1698-1 Page 4
Gold to the five, as indicated.
30. Then give another Epsom Salts Bath.
31. Whenever there is great distress, use the Epsom Salts Packs over the areas indicated.
32. After the second Epsom Salts Bath (not before), begin with the use of the low Wet Cell Appliance carrying the Gold AND Silver in same; the Gold vibrations used one day, the Silver the next. The Gold Solution for use vibratorially through the Appliance would be in the proportions of three grains to each ounce of Distilled Water, while only a two percent Silver Solution would be used in the beginning.
33. Use the Appliance each day for thirty minutes, one day the Gold, the next day the Silver, for a period of at least thirty days. THEN we would give further instructions. The attachments for both solutions would be the same - that is:
34. The anode, or copper plate, would be attached to the 9th dorsal plexus; while the larger plate - through which the Solution passes - would be attached to the umbilicus and lacteal duct plexus.
35. Do not begin the Appliance until AFTER those periods indicated, or the second period of the Epsom Bath - and the other solutions have been taken internally as indicated.
36. Do not take the Gold internally during the period the Appliance is used; though the Atomidine may be taken in series during that month also.
37. Now, as to the diet: Beware of fried foods! Never any fried foods; never any hog meat - unless it is the head, the feet, or chitterlings, or the like. Of course, the liver, the heart, the light or melt may be taken if so desired; all of these stewed, but NOT too highly seasoned. Never any bacon or ham or shoulder or the like, either cured or fresh.
38. The principal meats should be fish, fowl or lamb. Never any of these fried, but boiled, broiled, roasted or the like.
39. Plenty of vegetables that are of the leafy variety; and let a portion of one meal each day be a combination of either raw vegetables or raw fruits - but not the two (fruits AND vegetables) combined on the same day.
40. Do these, in the ORDER and rotation of series as indicated, and when the periods have passed we would give further instructions.
41. Ready for questions.
