Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1709].

3. Now, in giving the physical conditions as we find here, it is well that there be considered how each portion of the functioning organism must coordinate with the rest of the system.

4. Consider then, for the moment, that the physical body is an organism so designed as to re-create its own self; through the assimilating system, primarily. However, each functioning of the glandular system must perform its functioning; else that portion of the reproduction of that portion of the organism fails in its activity.

5. Just as here, we find the disturbances in the activity of the assimilating AND the glandular system. Not that there are those conditions as prevent an activity of the body, but some portions of the body are deprived of a nominal, normal development, owing to the deficiencies in glandular activity, while others are in excess. And the attempt of portions of the organism to function under those disturbances produces the disturbing influences and forces through the activities of the body itself.

6. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [1709], we are speaking of:

7. In the blood supply we find there is the incoordination between the eliminating systems; owing to a disturbance through the digestive organism and the activities of the functioning of eliminations as related to the alimentary canal and the perspiratory system and the respiratory system.

8. Hence we find at times there are pressures, as it were, through portions of the stomach, or through the abdominal

1709-1 Page 2

area, or about the diaphragm; almost extending around the body.

9. At others we find the feeling as if the pressure is in lower portion of the lungs, and the throat gives disturbance by its inability for perfect activity - through the lack of the lymph flow of circulatory forces.

10. These, in their activity, bring poisons to the superficial circulation; as indicated at times in the conditions of the epidermis and a portion of the skin portion itself - and blackheads, and forms of little abrasions, and a form of rash or other conditions that come through portions of the body.

11. All of these as we find arise from conditions of lack of proper coordination in assimilation and eliminations.

12. Now the sources of impulses to the action of organs of the body are from the nerve system. So those areas along the dorsals, or along the cerebrospinal system, are the ganglia from which the superficial or sympathetic system, and the deeper or cerebrospinal system, receive their impulses for activity; owing to the manner of replenishing through the glandular forces - which become as the brain of the nerve system. And the impulses to the brain itself are received from the activity of the cerebrospinal system, just as the imaginative forces or impulses through the sensory system are the seat or the sources for the activity of the superficial circulation.

13. These incoordinating, then, bring periods when there is heaviness across the lower portion of the back; at others through the shoulders and head and neck.

14. All of these are in the present rather as indications; and not that there are ORGANIC disturbances, but functionings that - through the lack of the coordination in the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nervous system - are inclined to make for impulses that bring about disorders such that we have the effect in the emptying of the duodenum into the jejunum.

15. Often it feels or appears as if closed, and there is a plethoric condition. And at such times after eating, or even HOURS after eating, there may appear to be a swelling across a portion of the abdomen - a burning then at times in the stomach; and an upsetting of the liver, and a lack of eliminations through such periods.

16. Much of this arises from impulses in the cerebrospinal system, in the upper dorsal and a portion of the cervical areas, from which impulses for drainages from the system arise. These are under repression through conditions which have existed in the body for some times past.

1709-1 Page 3

17. When these are set up and removed, the pressures taken from same, we will find the body responding to the general activities. And then there will be the necessity of a stimulation to the glandular forces, especially as related to the glands of the inner portion of the thyroid and the adrenals. Then as these act with the other portions of the body, we will find we will remove these disturbing factors; cleansing as it were the superficial circulation so that the disturbing conditions that arise at times in face and nose or the inner ear, the throat, and even in other portions of the body, will gradually disappear - as the body ADJUSTS itself and coordination is brought about between the nervous systems, as well as the coordinating of the functioning of glands with the activity of the assimilating and eliminating system of the body.

18. These then as we find would be the applications as would be necessary in this particular condition:

19. First we would begin with some corrections, osteopathically made, in the areas from the 2nd and 3rd cervical to the 9th dorsal. These would be specific in the way of making for better eliminations - that is, emptying of the stomach and of the duodenum proper. Hence the main portion of the stimulation for the impulse to the cerebrospinal system will be in the upper dorsals. But the cervical and the central dorsal system would be coordinated with the activities of same.

20. When about six of such adjustments have been made, then we would rest from same for two weeks. And then take another course of six to ten more adjustments. In THESE (the second series, you see), there should be more attention given to those areas from the 9th dorsal DOWNWARD, rather than from the 9th dorsal upward - but EACH time coordinate the adjustments made in the lumbar and lower dorsal and through the sacral WITH those corrections which will have BEEN made in the dorsal and the cervical areas.

21. After the first six adjustments have been made, THEN we would begin with at least two cakes of Yeast each day; taken at least half an hour before the noon meal and before the evening meal. Keep this up for periods of two to three weeks - each day; then leave off for four days; then begin again for another two weeks - and leave off for three or four days; then take for another two weeks.

22. And THEN, AFTER the second or third round of taking the Yeast as just indicated - as an added influence to the activity of the eliminating system - we would take the low electrical vibrations of the Violet Ray - that is, given in the very low form (the hand machine, you see). This would

1709-1 Page 4

be particularly applied to the 4th lumbar, then 9th dorsal, and at the connection between the dorsal and cervical centers - or at the brachial and vagus center along the spine. This would be taken for periods of three to four days, left off for three to four days, and taken again - and so on.

23. Do these.

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) Is the work I do [stenographic, office] suitable or is it harmful physically? (A) Not necessarily harmful physically. If those adjustments are made in the physical forces of the body, the body will adjust itself - just as we have attempted to indicate here. Here we have an unbalanced condition in the nerve system, in the assimilating system, in the glandular system; yet the body attempts - through the activity of the creative forces in all three of these systems - to ADJUST itself TO the disturbances; and to do the best it can with what it has! If we would only attempt to do that in our minds, how much happier the world would be!

26. (Q) What causes eyes to hurt at different times? (A) Those times when there are pressures upon the upper dorsal and cervical through which the sensory forces receive their impulse, as we have just referred to - and then the organs of the sensory system are under distress! With the correction of the assimilating forces and the eliminating system, and with the balance that may be kept with the coordinating influences of the body, these should be MUCH improved. Do this then, as has been indicated. Keep the mental attitude - not as "don't care, and it'll be alright anyway!" but MAKE it alright! So live, so think, as to be constructive in every word and in every association WITH OTHERS! Let thy whole life be as thine own inner self reflects - to do the very BEST with what you have to do with; and you have plenty - because His promises are thine!
