Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions he submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1710].
3. Now as we find, while those conditions which were first indicated show an improvement, there are others that are not so well.
4. Through the other shoulder we find ligaments and tendons have been strained; and these tend to make for conditions that are as severe almost as a break - save as in the position they are.
5. As we find in the present, over those areas where there is the disturbance with any exercise of any perceptible nature of the arm and shoulder, we would apply each evening for at least three or four evenings a saturated solution, or even heavier, of salt and apple vinegar. This would be applied almost as a pad, and then an electric pad placed over same for a period of an hour or more.
6. These Packs we would use each evening for at least three or four evenings, before we would have the corrections made; so that these will relax and tend to make it easier for the adjustments osteopathically to be better made through the dorsal areas - from at least the 8th or 9th dorsal to the 3rd and 4th cervical. This would be gently done, but should not require more than three to four or five adjustments.
7. If the body uses itself in exercise during the days the Packs are being applied of an evening, we find it would be well that a band be wrapped about the area - not the adhering or sticky band, but the bands used for dressing, - so as to prevent too great a strain upon the muscular forces of the body.
8. After the beginning of the adjustments, we would each evening apply an equal combination of Mutton Suet, Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor, as hot as the body can bear; this massaged in thoroughly, all the body will absorb,

over the shoulders and the neck and to the waistline.
9. Do these, and keep the diets that are not acid-producing; we should bring the better conditions for this body.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) When was injury to 5th rib received, and how? (A) A wrench and a fall; six to ten moons ago.
12. (Q) Why does aching between shoulders continue? (A) Now it arises from the muscular condition, and tendons.
13. (Q) Have osteopathic treatments been correctly given? (A) These as indicated have been beneficial, but we have undone much of that which has been done!
14. (Q) Should I continue taking Alcaroid? If so, when and how often? (A) So long as there's a tendency to belch or feel a fullness after the meal, take same. Now, when this does not occur, leave off.
15. (Q) Should I continue taking Codiron? If so, when and how often? (A) Continue Codiron; once each day and with the meal - two pellets.
16. (Q) Has diet been correct? (A) It has been very well, but keep closer to the alkalin-producing foods.
17. (Q) Do eyes need any attention in the way of exercise or treatment? (A) If the osteopathic adjustments through the shoulders and neck are made, not necessary. They should improve. It would be very well for the body to take occasionally, at least three times a week, the head and neck exercise; but don't take same just once or twice and then leave off - take it consistently for at least two to three weeks, morning and evening. Do that.
18. (Q) Do teeth need any attention? (A) Some local attention, and will need more AFTER these adjustments; though do not have these attended to until the general health is better and the disturbing factors in the cerebrospinal system and the shoulders are corrected.
19. (Q) What can be done to reduce heavy beard? (A) Rather be proud of it than to reduce it, because this is a natural activity of the glandular system, and in those great conditions these are very well! Just meet them as they arise!
20. (Q) The pain in the right shoulder has never stopped. Why? (A) As has been indicated, this is part a muscular condition and part nerve pressure from lack of nutriment from the blood supply. But with this strain now, as we have

indicated, the application of the salt and vinegar (apple vinegar; not just acetic acid but pure apple vinegar and the heavy salt), and the heat, will relax this area so that the adjustments may be made much better at the present time.
21. (Q) Any further advice for the body? (A) These we would do for the present.
