Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1721], present in this room, who seeks the cause, with suggestions for relief of, her severe headaches and the trouble in her jaw. Also she desires information concerning material affairs and conditions connected with members of her family. If it is not to the disadvantage of the physical, mental and spiritual welfare of the channel, Edgar Cayce, you will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1721].

3. In the physical forces we find there are definite disturbances which may be in the present easily relieved, but without the correction they may gradually bring disturbing conditions as arise by the pressures upon the nervous system, and thus bring greater disorders in the physical activities of the body.

4. These are the conditions then as we find them with this body, [1721], present in this room:

5. The pressures which produce the sources of the headache arise from subluxations which exist in the LUMBAR axis. This with the pressures upon the lower portions of the cerebrospinal system causes the lack of the proper assimilations, thus causing gastric acidity - from which those pressures upon the pneumogastric and hypogastric system produce the headaches.

6. With the correction or removal of the pressures, osteopathically, we would find better conditions for the body.

7. The condition in the jaw arises from a pressure from a wisdom tooth that needs local attention.

8. Also the osteopathic corrections in the upper cervical and about the lower portion of the neck AS related to the jaw will aid; WHEN the correction is made in the lumbar axis and the solar plexus, the brachial AND the vagus centers

coordinated with the removal of the pressures.

9. These done, as we find, would not require in the present more than five or six adjustments; and a little correction locally for the teeth or jaw.

10. Then, to reduce the acidity that arises, and to keep down the gas which arises in the system, we would use the compound known as Alcaroid about once or twice a week - AFTER the meals; dissolving about a quarter teaspoonful in a small quantity of water and then stirring in a full glass of water to be taken.

11. The system may be kept balanced with keeping in mind the conditions of the assimilating system, and with the use of the Alcaroid.

12. Beware of too much greases in the diet, or of too much fried foods. These tend to produce too great a quantity of the acid influences to keep a balance in the system.

13. The pressure in the LUMBAR axis arose from a strain sustained some times back.

14. Do that for the physical forces of the body.

15. Ready for questions relative to relations and their activities.

16. (Q) Regarding my husband, ([...], ..., Ohio), could you tell me where he might find employment, or what occupation would be best suited to his life-time needs? Whom should he see, where and when? (A) As we find for this entity, the associations or activities that would have to do with the distribution of petroleum products would be the channel through which the entity may obtain the better or the closer associations for work that would be constant in its nature AND give the opportunities for the greater expression. Through any of those organizations or corporations such approaches should be made. Be persistent and we will find this may be soon consummated.

17. (Q) Regarding the financial status of my great-uncle, [...], who died around October 1923, at his home in ..., Garrett County, Maryland, Lot #5, the Plat of ..., additions to ...: We have reason to believe that the small fortune which he accumulated during his lifetime may still be found, altho no record has been found of the bushel of money withdrawn from the bank during the World War, nor the several thousand dollars worth of Government Bonds which he bought. If possible, tell us where the money and bonds are at the present time, also the amount of each. (A) As we find, there has been some crooked work through the administration; though as we find, if there would be a closer search for dates of withdrawals, the registering of

the bonds (for these were of the Government Bonds), the Bonds may be traced to such an extent that these MAY be collected. As to the specie or the currency - this we do not find as in a definite location, but there should be the requirements - by those in the position of interest to require - that the COUNTY authorities make a more complete report. While as to the money left by the wife of this entity, that should be located as has been indicated about the step of the home.

18. (Q) Can you make it more definite as to which steps are referred to? (A) Those that are in the front!

19. (Q) Is it buried near these? (A) It's a part OF these!

20. (Q) The outside steps of the house, or inside? (A) The OUTSIDE steps of the house.

21. (Q) How may I go about to locate this - what steps should I take? (A) Remove the steps! Those of the front here, see?

22. (Q) The front porch steps? (A) The front porch steps.

23. (Q) Would you tell us how much there is? (A) Well - this is considerable.

24. (Q) Is it built into the steps - is it upon or enclosed in the steps in some way in the building of them? (A) In that which was prepared to go INTO a part of the steps.

25. (Q) It hasn't been gotten - it is still there? (A) It hasn't been gotten, though it's been dug about a great deal!

26. (Q) Is there any hidden in the house anywhere? (A) We do not find any hidden IN the house, unless because it's in a portion of the house it would be called in the house!

27. (Q) If we go there and tear the steps down, could we find it? (A) You should find it - and it's sufficient to justify the search!

28. (Q) Is it currency or gold or what? (A) Currency and in silver. There's one or two pieces of gold.

29. (Q) Can this be located with our radio instrument? [GD's note: Her father-in-law said the radio instrument [M. T. Scope - See [853]'s subsequent correspondence] had indicated the steps - not very definite, however. We referred him to Mr. [853] in Washington, D.C., in regard to

an instrument for locating buried treasure.] (A) It should signify by being set up on either side - should indicate the direct.

30. (Q) Have the Bonds been put in a safety deposit box or deposited under another name in the bank anywhere? (A) As indicated, these have had something to do with the administrator and those that make the record of same from the bank from which they were purchased or drawn. Make those in the position there give closer or better account of their record and trace same with the Government records on same. You will locate them that way - it'll cause somebody trouble, but you'll locate 'em!

31. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See separate sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Osteopath. When you select an osteopath, we would appreciate having his name and address so we may put him on our mailing list. Also the Alkalin-Diet list [which was enclosed] might be of help to you.)
