1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development of the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1731].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records here, these are chosen with the desire to make the experience helpful to the entity in seeking to know its place, its activity and its opportunities in this sojourn.

4. That there are the influences innate and manifested from the sojourns of the entity in the material plane, as well as from those consciousnesses in the interims between such sojourns, is indicated in these - that are latent and at times manifested in the present personality.

5. While the entity is of high mental ability, and with a great deal of optimistic outlook at times, we find it may be said that the entity becomes quite pessimistically an optimist - and sees oft too much of the dark sides of an experience, and is prone to judge same from material angles alone.

6. Thus the entity becomes discouraged to that of a "Don't care" mood. Rather should there be the consideration, as may be pointed out, that each experience in the affairs of an individual is to have its place - if it will be used rather than abused or allowed to become a stumbling-stone to the real abilities of an entity.

7. As we find from the astrological aspects, then, these become as innate manifested forces, as they arise in the

1731-1 Page 2

mental urges of the entity.

8. In Jupiter we find not so much a benevolent influence altogether, unless magnified in the application of the abilities of the entity in its associations or activities in those things and conditions that would have to do with masses or great numbers of people - especially in the abilities as a judge or an applier of law as related to individuals and their associations with others; especially as to governmental associations of same, or in the fields of literature - as a writer of such as give the thoughts of individuals as they might reason one with another. Such as coffee and repartee, or such as the delving into scientific investigation of crime and its motives, or the influence of the biological world upon the thought of man and his activity. Or the elements pertaining to the sources of vitamins in the food forces under varied conditions.

9. Writings of this nature, then, would become a part of the entity's experience - if it is inclined to develop its abilities in that direction.

10. Or in associations with activities in which governmental activity or development is necessary, or such natures as pertain to same.

11. In Venus we find the influence making for the intenseness of the entity in its likes and dislikes, in its truisms - which may be a part of the experiences or abilities in its activity as writing, or as to law.

12. Hence mercy and judgements would become a portion of same, or the thread as might bind such activities or writings together.

13. The adverse influences in Saturn make for changes in environs, in locations, in natures of every kind. And these allowed to become stumbling-stones, as indicated, prove detrimental rather than beneficial.

14. Hence the necessity for the intenseness towards holding the optimism as well as the pessimistic tendencies.

15. As to the appearances in the earth, these we find become a part of the whole - as we have indicated in that the individual's application of self tends to lead to or away from purposes for which each entity or soul enters a given experience - to become an emissary, a representative of that which the entity has and does set as its ideal.

16. Hence this means being true to the ideal in the spiritual, the mental, and the material ways and manners, - which proves as to the sincerity of purpose to which an entity lends itself through adversity as well as prosperity.

17. For many may labor well under prosperous reactions and others well under adverse - but indeed greater is he who

1731-1 Page 3

may take ALL, not merely as a part of the experience but using each for the abilities and opportunities for the greater manifestation of the sincerity of its purpose and its ideal.

18. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, or in portions of rather the eastern part of upper New York - during those periods when there was the reconstruction after that known as the Revolution.

19. For as the entity had been rather the sympathizer with the Crown rather than the Colonists, those were periods when great adjustments were necessary - and the abilities for the entity to hold its own in argumentations. Yet in those periods the entity learned well the lesson that may be applied in the present - that of being able to represent both the under dog and those in authority. Whether this applies to the application of law or the ability in depicting same in verse or prose, it becomes an outlet in which the entity may find great response to those urges innate within.

20. The name then was Erasmus Giovedina. In the experience it may be said that the entity lost and gained. For the entity, while seeking the ways and manners for adjustment, found great disappointments - and the inclination to belittle the efforts of those who would build for the masses rather than the individual.

21. But with the exercising of the abilities in the latter portion of the experience, there came the periods of great advancement and development. And these may be used by the entity's looking within, using the motivative or imaginative forces for constructive rather than for pessimistic influences, or looking for adverse forces in the lives of others.

22. Look to thine own self, my friend!

23. Before that we find the entity was in the English land when there were the periods of those activities in the attempt for the first separation of Church and State, or the individualities becoming more and more of an active influence or force - during Alfred's reign.

24. The entity, as one Eguard Samoreth, made stands for activities which brought about what may be termed that as adopted by Alfred - the trials by jury, or the judgements passed NOT by those of court or authority but by those of one's own brethren, one's own equals or peers.

25. That as a part of the entity in the present finds rather an unusual association with its comments upon conditions and circumstances in the affairs of people as well as of states, principalities, or counties, states or cities or nations.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods following the turmoils and the strifes, when there were the beginnings of the settlements through the activities not only of the Atlanteans but through the acceding of the Natives.

27. For the entity was of those groups that joined with the activities of the Native who caused the uprising in a portion of that land.

28. The entity then chose rather to be what would be termed in the present the historian, or the keeper of the records of the varied individuals in their respective activities as were chosen by the peoples of that period.

29. It was when there was the bringing about of what may be termed tradesmen for varied activities, whether teachers, ministers, lawyers, doctors or ANY and ALL of such.

30. The entity rather insisted upon the records for the advancement and development, in the name Ax-Eltio.

31. In the experience the entity gained, almost throughout. For the purposes were rather for others - also the desires and the activities.

32. And these brought the abilities within the entity to adjust itself, if it will look deep within.

33. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:

34. These, as indicated, fall into two distinct fields, - whether administering of law through governmental influences or forces, or that of writing upon special character or nature of subjects.

35. And if the entity will apply self in either of these channels (and the choice must be made as to its own ideals), we may bring not only the material but the opportunities for the greater unfoldment into mental and spiritual accomplishments.

36. Let thy yeas be yea and thy nays nay. But know in Whom as well as in What ye believe. Let thy ideals - though they be material, mental and spiritual - founded upon a spiritual basis. For without same there is no continuity or life.

37. And so live thine own life, and create in the experience and minds of others, that whereunto will develop something that may be carried on into eternity. For only good lives on.

38. Ready for questions.

39. (Q) What should the entity do now to reestablish himself in a business way? and where should this be attempted? (A) If the field of law is chosen, it should be with associations in Washington. If the field chosen is to be that for the writing, then it should be wherever the entity desires to make its environs and its surroundings - as those

1731-1 Page 5

that become the more agreeable in every manner.

40. (Q) Should the entity seek to work for someone else now or continue to plan for his own business? (A) Just as indicated, either in the governmental activities - which are in part the working for someone else; or as "upon its own" in the writing.

41. (Q) How can the entity best build toward this? (A) By the application of the latent and manifested abilities in those directions as we have outlined. Do that.

42. (Q) What should be the eventual goal of this entity in a business way? (A) As has been indicated, there are two ways. Choose thou. If it is the one in the field of law, it would be the representative of the law as related to government and people. If it is the other, in the field of writing, it would be to give hope and help and faith into the minds and hearts and experiences of others.
