1. EC: Yes.
2. In continuing - it is well, with the natural inclination manifested and latent, that the entity analyze the sources of the information; as related to the study of Body, Mind, Soul; as to their operative forces in a material, manifested body.
3. Analyze the astrological aspects, the interims between earthly incarnations, as being the hereditary part of the entity from a mental standpoint.
4. The appearances or sojourns in the earth we would analyze as the emotional forces of the entity, or the basis from which the emotions arise. Rather than these becoming then for the entity that which supersedes, they become rather as a part of the environment of an entity.
5. Use these rather as the basis for the study of same.
6. For the entity is scientifically inclined. And the studies that are a part of the entity's experience in the present are well, if there will be added the electronic or electrotherapy as a part of the manner through which the entity may make manifest its urge to be a helpful influence in the experiences of those in the material plane - as related to their physical and mental selves.
7. Then, lose not sight of the spiritual attributes which act upon the emotional entity or self.
8. From the astrological viewpoint we find the Uranian and Venus as well as the Jupiterian influences all in a benevolent aspect.
9. Hence we find the little NICETIES as it were about the entity, that attract. Yet from those very same influences, the tendency to condemn others because of their lack of same may in the self destroy the beneficent influences these draw into the experience of the entity.
1743-2 Page 2
10. Beautiful things, things benevolent; things artistic; things temperamental; things that are extremes are a natural portion of the entity's experience. And these may be manifested or indicated in all characters of relationships the entity may have with others.
11. Those antagonistic forces in the astrological aspects are from Saturn and Mars. Hence the needs that the entity withhold self's expression at times when antagonistic influences would cause wrath, anger, madness or the like to becomes a paramount issue in its dealings or associations with others. This needs cultivation in the entity.
12. For the natural inclination of the Uranian, as well as the Jupiterian, is to give individual expression - which is well; but let not the personality be so overriding by such an expression or activity as to become a stumblingblock rather than the stepping-stone which it may be in the very experience.
13. There is the mechanical, the artistic; the natural scientific trend as related to physical bodies; and their relationships one to another, as well as the relationship of one portion of the body to another.
14. Then, study not only that as may be termed the pathological effect experienced through the very varied influences that are helpful or destructive in the experiences of a body - not only the anatomical structure; but also the mental, as well as the spiritual and their effects.
15. Then, inasmuch as the body is the anatomical or atomic structure whose vibration arises from those influences known as, or that give their expression through electrical forces of the various intensities or densities of activity, we find that these studies and applications also from the material angle should be a portion of the experience.
16. As to the appearances of the entity in the earth, and their effect upon the emotional forces - we find, as indicated, that these are as the environs. For these become a part of the pith as it were of the motivative influences to the entity in its dealings and relationships with its fellow man - which would have to do with rather the material experience in the present sojourn.
17. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land nigh unto the one of the present sojourn or nativity; especially in that part now called the Connecticut land.
18. There, during those activities following the American Revolutionary period, or during the reconstruction period, we find the entity's associations were such that it might have been called or termed the school teacher - or among
1743-2 Page 3
those that would direct the activities of the growing young people. The activities then were in the form or nature as might today be manifested in the Scout and the Y.M.C.A. fields - or having to do with health, physical education as well as relationships and kinships from those activities of the environs about the entities to be turned into those things that were a part of the experiences of each.
19. The name then was Abner Benson, and in the experience the entity gained.
20. For the love of the outdoors, the love of nature, the giving of expression of the abilities through natural sources rather than through those that are hidden or of a synthetic nature, become as the very native force of the entity in the present.
21. And to hold to such in its dealings with others in its activities may bring for the entity in the present the greater influences for good.
22. Hence as we find, in those environs such as in New Haven, or in the lands or cities adjoining, would be the better environs for the entity in its practise or application of itself, in its abilities to be of the greater benefit through its associations in the present experience.
23. Before that we find (that bears upon the entity's activities), the entity was in the land when the Master walked in the earth.
24. There we find, during the experience the entity was rather the child - and among those peoples or children present during the feeding of the five thousand.
25. Hence we find that INNATE influence in the entity in the present as to its feelings towards diet, as well as towards those things with which, if the bodily materials and functions are supplied, others may be cared for in their own sphere or phase of man's experience.
26. There we find the entity growing up under an environ in which there were many disputations, owing to the persecutions that arose in the experiences of the entity's surroundings, in the early portion of its life in that sojourn.
27. Hence we find a diffusion of ideas in relationships to spiritual teachings, or those that are of ethical activities in the various characters of treatments or applications for either physical or spiritual helpful forces in the lives of its associates, its environs, or the peoples at the present time.
28. But know, that which is material must have first had its inception in the spiritual - and has grown according to MENTAL application respecting same to constructive forces in
1743-2 Page 4
the lives of individuals, things, conditions, or from whatever phase it may be judged.
29. Hence in the application of self, forget not the SOURCES of ALL power as may be manifested in the earth.
30. And as the purpose of each soul is to be a channel through which that as held as its ideal is to be made manifest, and that the glory of God be kept first and foremost - then so live, so act as to be consistent in thy thoughts, thy acts, thy expressions. Not only in word but in deed. For being true to self will not make thee false to any.
31. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian; though the entity was among those peoples from Atlantis - when there were the experiences of the segregating of those into groups and individuals to be trained or directed for specific activity.
32. The entity was among those very close to the one who headed the department of hospitalization (as would today be called), or the department of healing arts, or the application of the influences of nature into man himself.
33. And the study was then, as it should be now - that man is a part of that which was made - all that was made, and took upon himself a manifested part of same - through the mental expression that became crystallized in material forces.
34. Hence in the natural sources about man, added with the mental and the spiritual, there is that which will bring the correcting of man's relationship to his material environment.
35. This should be the very thought and study of the entity through this experience.
36. And in all practical application of same may the entity find the greater influences, greater outlet, greater activity - as to make the present experience a helpful influence.
37. For, as the entity gained throughout, his experiences in the present should be a constant development.
38. The name then was Hy-Poc-Rax-El.
39. As to the abilities of the entity, then, in the present:
40. First, as indicated, analyze thyself. Know thy ideals. And whether these be in the mental, in the spiritual, in the physical - not DEMAND but LIVE that thy relationships to others! For as ye sow, so will ye reap.
41. Ready for questions.
42. (Q) What life work or profession should I choose for the fullest expression of my highest gifts, capabilities and service to humanity?
1743-2 Page 5
(A) As indicated, the applying of self in its abilities to the healing arts.
43. (Q) Am I right in undertaking the study of chiropractic, and will I be successful in financing the entire course? (A) Would be successful. This is very well; but add electrotherapy!
44. (Q) Will I be able to gain a license to practice chiropractic when my course is finished? (A) If the other is added.
45. (Q) Why have I always had such an urge to work in astrology, and what part will it play in my life pattern? (A) This is very well, and is natural from those experiences and conditions which have been indicated - as have been a part of the life's work. This should be rather used (as it is) as signs - NOT as the thing itself!
46. (Q) Is my conviction that I have healing power through my hands justified by truth, or is my belief in it born of imagination? (A) No - it is a part of the whole experience of self.
47. (Q) How can this power of healing be increased, and best used in the service of humanity? (A) In recognizing, in idealizing its source - and not crystallizing it in self.
48. (Q) When, where and what was my association in other sojourns with the entity now known as [...] my present mother? (A) We do not find the two as intricate, but an association - one holding aloof from the other, and hence a variation. These had best be drawn by comparison, rather than from the one.
49. (Q) With [1472]? (A) This was an experience in which the entity looked toward that entity, Judy, as a teacher, a helper, an aid to the many - as a worshipfulness or worshipful experience in the Palestine sojourn. In the present it may be used in a helpful experience if held rather in its particular ATMOSPHERIC reaction upon the mental and spiritual self. Let thyself know in what, in WHOM ye believe. Then pattern thy life after thy Ideal. Not demanding, but COMMANDING thyself by activity as well as precept.
50. We are through for the present. Copy to Self
