1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are latent and exhibited in the present life as personalities of the present entity; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '34 - '33 - yes - years of anxiety; some changes - '30 - some disappointments - '12 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records of that entity now known as or called [1745].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, these are chosen with the desire to make the experience a helpful influence in the activities of the present entity.
5. Know that the entering of a manifested life is not chance, but through the will of the Father. For He hath not willed that any soul should perish, but hath with every temptation offered a channel, an opportunity - through the choice of the entity - to meet self.
6. Hence know that a life-experience is not for self-indulgence, self-gratification - but that ALL things shall be according to the will of the Creator in Whom ye live and move and have thy being!
7. All phases of thy bodily and mental and spiritual experiences, then, are to be considered in thy study and in thy application of thy abilities; meeting thyself, thy faults and thy virtues in such a manner as to make the experience a growth of thy soul.
8. So live then each day that some portion may add to thy
1745-1 Page 2
inner, thy better, thy soul self. Thus may ye gain strength, ye may gain knowledge - and virtue; in such measures that life with its experiences becomes more and more worth while, with more joy.
9. Though, as has been thy experience, great sorrows and great joys have been thy lot. Yet in it all ye may see the opportunity for the glorifying of the force and power that we worship as God.
10. In giving the influences that form or become a part of the attributes of this entity, this soul - we find that there is the within, there is the without - present in a manifested body, and absent from a material manifestation. Yet each phase is innate, in a consciousness that is its very own.
11. That absent from the material body is manifested in what we call astrological aspects, that become a phase of each and every soul - and are as signposts along the individual way.
12. For as is indicated by the very date, the hour, the place, the experience - all of these are a part of thy heritage, thy innate urge; that arises from, and produces influences in, the material experiences in the present.
13. As we find, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn - all have a part in the experience, or sojourns of the entity through those environs.
14. Thus, as an experience, they become a part of the entity's urge in the present.
15. As has been latent ever in the experience of this sojourn of the entity - the desire, the ability to be upon the stage - either as an actor, a speaker or an interpreter of lines, or an elocutionist or the like.
16. These may appear far afield from the daily activities of the entity in the present, yet these have been and are INNATE. And if there had been the application of self in these directions in the early experiences, successes might have been made - FROM the material angle - but the choice has been made in other fields of activity.
17. Use that then where thou ART, AS a channel, a means for the greater expression of service; in a way and manner in which all who may contact thee may feel rather the privilege of knowing, of dealing with, of being associated with, of contacting the entity as a manifested soul in the material plane.
18. And these offer just as great a stage upon which ye may show forth, in thy conversation, in thy daily activity, the GLORY of Him whom ye manifest in material plane for service and activity.
1745-1 Page 3
19. Remember ever that as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy maker.
20. For as He is part and parcel of thy everlasting experience, only that which is growth in a constructive sense and manner lives on. Changes come only in and for temporal things, but good lives on forever - in EVERY phase, in every form.
21. In Saturn we find the changes of every nature, in thought, in manner, in mien, in associations and in activities that have come about. Yet the entity from its very nature is very strong-willed; and oft when persuaded to do different from that which the inner promptings would direct the entity hates himself for it.
22. Then, look within self. Know in Whom as well as in what ye believe. Set an ideal; as to citizenship, as to parenthood, as to neighbor, as to MANNER of church service, as to manner of neighborly activity; as to thy spiritual, thy mental self. And then so live thine own life in those relationships that others would never question as to what thy ideal is.
23. Not then as a demanding but as a COMMANDING entity, soul, personality. And let thy personality be so imbued with the divine individuality of self that no question is ever asked as to whether ye walk and talk with thy God; nor as to who is thy Lord and Master.
24. For remember, what ye are, what ye do, speaks so loud that SELDOM is what ye say heard or heeded.
25. As to the appearances in the earth - these as we find, for the entity, are rather very few - according to many of thy associates. Thus ye see and experience emotionally things as being separate or far apart. But know that thy spiritual, thy mental and thy physical life are one. For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God, and there He has promised to meet thee.
26. Look then oft within, as to what is the motivating force and influence in thy associations, in thy questionings, in thy activities with thy fellow man.
27. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity or birth, during those periods when those who were very close to Napoleon, the leader, were settling in those portions of the land. The entity then was of French birth, being also a Corsican - and lived in the latter portion of the experience in that now known as a portion of Alabama.
28. The early training made for that which had prompted and did prompt the entity to be very severe, to be dictatorial, to be rather of those who could not serve other than that as
1745-1 Page 4
their highest ideals.
29. These brought troubles, materially - yet the abilities in which the entity exercised its activities made for much of that latent and hidden desire for the dramatic, or that of the nature to act, that of the nature to proclaim and declaim the principles that were and are latent within self.
30. Yet the entity was the farmer, the storekeeper in the latter portion of its experience in that Alabamian land.
31. The entity gained, the entity lost, the entity gained through the experience.
32. In making application of self in the present to that as gained through that sojourn, study to show thyself approved unto thy ideal, a workman never ashamed - rightly dividing the words of truth and keeping self unspotted from those censures or those activities in which thy conscience would condemn thee.
33. The name then was Jean Gherholdt.
34. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, when there were turmoils, when there were disputes among those who were in authority - both as to the political and religious factors or leaders.
35. The entity then was among those very close to that one called the Priest - for in those activities the entity was a body guard to the Priest, during the periods of ascension, the periods of being absent or being put away from the activities, and upon the return.
36. Hence we find again the entity acting in those capacities in which there became the necessary activities in which the entity was called upon to depict the attitudes and tones of another, or others - in their quieter moments, in their ravings, in their commandings and their demandings.
37. For the entity's activities then were such that it may fit itself into whatever activity may be chosen for the entity's experiences in the present.
38. Find grace and favor among thy fellow man that ye deal with day by day, but NOT at the expense of thy own convictions!
39. The name then was Den-Lido.
40. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, when there were the first periods of attempting to use the Creative Forces for the separating of the influences in the activities that had come about, by the thought forms, and the activities of the Creative Forces of the Law of One.
41. There the entity misapplied self, and then attempting to regain its position became as one that was rejected of his own and feared by those who were in disfavor with his own.
42. In the experience the entity lost, yet the keeping hold
1745-1 Page 5
of the ideal becomes the more necessary in the present.
43. Let thy yeas be yea, thy nays nay. But rejoice in the opportunity to be a LIVING example in the way in which ye may show others to that way which leads to life everlasting!
44. For as Life is the manifestation of God, the Father, so the use of thyself in same is what ye think of, and what ye do with, Him.
45. Ready for questions.
46. (Q) Considering mental and emotional urges and feeling of being out of line in my present work, would you advise a change? (A) Rather would we advise that the position, the place be used as a means where there may be given the entity the greater activities in the same fields of service; AS a supervisor of such activities, see? Rather then the laborer in, the advisor with those that labor. These as we find would mean that of progress in every manner, to the entity.
47. (Q) Just what should I do in this line to obtain such a position? (A) As has been pointed out. Find favor, yes. Act in those ways as indicated, yes; that there may be greater confidence put in the judgements, the advice and counsel of the entity in those lines in which thy labors are directed.
48. (Q) Please give me the true local time of my PHYSICAL birth. (A) At two-ten (2:10) A. M.
49. (Q) Have I ever been associated in a former incarnation with my sister, [1100] or her husband [470]? (A) In the Egyptian with them both.
50. (Q) If it is possible, I would like some information of persons in this incarnation with whom I was associated in former incarnations. (A) These had best be drawn by their parallels, rather than picking individuals - save as to such a paralleling.
51. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Mrs. [1100] " " Ass'n file " Ass'n file
