Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Texas.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1745].

3. Now as we find, while there are disturbing conditions that are very aggravating, these may be eliminated if there is the proper course and activity regarding same.

4. But without these corrections, we may find more serious disturbances arising. For these as we find are of the nature that the vitality is being reduced, and there is the production of those disturbances that with this vital force reduced so may become of a constitutional nature - such as to be a disorder hard to deal with.

5. These are conditions as we find them with this body, [1745].

6. In giving the disturbances, there would be a little variation from the ordinary form. For we have two distinct conditions, and these as we find at times work one against the other, and at other times cause an overtaxing such that one becomes complemented, or is part of the other disturbance.

7. First, from the condition which existed in some time back, there has been an unbalancing in the pelvic axis; so that with long standing or any great activity in which there is lifting, pushing or the like as a part of the exercise, the body becomes greatly unbalanced through the pelvic, sacral and ileac plexus area.

8. This produces a great deal of disturbance to the nervous system in the form of exhaustion, as well as production of irritation that causes a great deal of acidity by the very nature of the poor eliminations at times through the system.

9. Then we have a disturbance from an old cold or throat disturbance, and there is such an engorgement in the back portion of the nasal passages that the antrums become

1745-2 Page 2

disturbed - but these are more in the nature of the back portion of the nasal passages, producing a growth that is a part of the adenoid condition or portion of same.

10. This with continued irritation produces a condition in the thorax, and through the stomach itself, by the poisons, as to weaken as well as become a part of the disturbance through the tiring OUT of the body - from those subluxations in the lumbar axis.

11. These, of course, disturb the circulation, producing a form of anemia; with a tendency for an acid reaction.

12. With continued conditions of the kind, we may produce disturbance in the digestive organs that would become, through natural forces of the superacidity, lacerations, ulcerations or disturbances of the nature.

13. These are the conditions as we find them with this body.

14. As we find, in removing these disturbances two specific reactions should be a part of the activity for same.

15. First there should be a sufficient number of the osteopathic adjustments in the lumbar and sacral area to produce a normal balance in the pelvic position, and thus making for both limbs being of near the same length; as well as coordinating the rest of the system with these corrections, which naturally cause, along all of the centers - as in the 9th dorsal, 4th and 5th dorsal, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th cervical - strains at one time or another.

16. The particular adjustments in the upper dorsal and the cervicals should be for better eliminations and drainage for the whole of the system, THROUGH the alimentary canal.

17. This should require not more than sixteen such adjustments. Best that they be taken in periods; that is, half of them taken at one period, two every week until eight are taken; then rest a week and have eight more taken, see?

18. In the meantime begin immediately with the use of an inhalant as would be prepared in this manner:

19. To 4 ounces of Grain Alcohol (only grain alcohol), in an 8 ounce container, preferably a dark bottle, with two openings prepared through the large cork in same, in which there may be the tubes through which the fumes may be inhaled (neither of the vents extending into the solution, you see, but in the space above same) - add - IN THE ORDER NAMED: Oil of Eucalyptus...............20 minims, Fusion or a Saturated Solution of Benzosol.........15 minims,* Compound Tincture of Benzoin....10 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp............5 minims, Tolu in Solution................30 minims.

1745-2 Page 3

When this is to be used, at least twice each day, oftener if there is the opportunity, shake the solution well before either of the corks would be removed from the inlets into the space above the solution. After shaking, open both. Inhale deep into the nostril, then deep into the lung. Then inhale again in either side of the nostril, then again into the throat. It would not be as a spray, you see, nor the properties sprayed into the throat or nasal passages direct, - but only the fumes from same would be inhaled. * [GD's note: See 318-5 on 9/14/26, inhalant in croup cup for baby, substituting 1 minim Pure Creosote for 10 minims Benzosol.]

20. Then with the diet - be mindful that there are no fried foods.

21. And we would take Codiron twice each day; two pellets at the meal time, for a tonic and for building up the system.

22. Do not take great quantities of cheese and macaroni with potatoes and white bread; no two of these at the same meal, you see, and very little at any time.

23. Keep plenty of fruits and vegetables, and beware of the fried foods, as indicated.

24. Do these and we will bring nearer to normal conditions, correcting these disturbances, giving the physical body better reaction and relieving the general mental strain.

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) Is there an obstruction of my nasal air passage? (A) Rather as indicated, in the bulbular end there is the tendency for this to become a growth. Hence the use of those properties as indicated in the inhalant, to reduce this condition. This being taken as a cleanser, of course, necessitates that there be kept better eliminations; which may be improved by the use of fruit and raw vegetables and the like in the diet; and the corrections as would be taken at the same period.

27. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Mrs. [1100] " " Ass'n file (See separate sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Osteopath, and Druggist. As you will no doubt have trouble in securing the Benzosol, we are having the Health Home Remedies Corp. of Norfolk to send you some.) some.)
