This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of November, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [1747], new Associate Member of the Ass''n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mrs. [1100].

Time of Reading 10:35 to 10:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief for this body. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1747].
3. Now as we find, there may be said to be MANY disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body that are as aggravating conditions without apparently a general breaking down of any.
4. Yet there is a continued feeling of the lack of vitality or of the strength or urge to carry on; never feeling full of life and vitality, except occasionally.
5. These are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1747].
6. As indicated, we find in the blood supply the lack of eliminations of certain influences or forces through same; as well as those influences carried within same that cause settlings at times in the muscular forces of the body.
7. This ordinarily is considered as something arising from some source of infection. In this body we find it is rather the lack of a balance in the chemical reactions of the glandular force of the body.
8. Thus if there were added those influences in such measures and manners that there might be a stimulation to the renewed activity of the whole of the system as related to glandular activity, the coordination of same also, we might bring the full, normal reactions to this body; alleviating those tendencies for the tired, achy feeling, the stiffness which arises in portions of the body, especially through the hips and the lower limbs at times.
9. Also we would alleviate this achy feeling along the bone and the muscular forces as attach the tendon and the muscular area, the little nausea which occurs at times of a morning; much of a fullness in the throat, disturbance with the mucous membranes in throat and nasal passages, a

weakness at times and a feeling within the eyes, and the upset digestion which at times arises.
10. All of these as we find are reflexes from this innate or deeper disturbance, and that has not localized as yet. This is owing to the better stimulation which has been given through the manipulative measures, and the ability of the system through same to better distribute the tendencies for the body breaking down.
11. We would then begin with these:

While we would not leave off those applications which have been made, we would take at least twice a week - during these periods that these are being made - the manipulative forces osteopathically given WITH special reference to coordinating the eliminating forces as relate to the stimuli of the draining forces from the upper portion of the body, - or upper dorsal through the cervical area; stimulating the lumbar axis, coordinating same with the 9th dorsal plexus.
13. Also we would begin with taking Atomidine internally; one minim in half a glass of water every morning before the meal for five days. Then leave off for three days. Then begin again; THIS time taking two minims each morning for ten days. Leave off then for five days.
14. And during that five-day period we would take a dosage each morning of a combination of Chloride of Gold Solution and Bromide of Soda Solution. Prepare the two solutions in THIS manner, and keep them separate until ready for the dosage to be taken:
15. The Chloride of Gold Solution would be made in the proportions of one grain to one ounce of Distilled Water.
16. The Bromide of Soda Solution would be made in the proportions of two grains to one ounce of Distilled Water.
17. When the dosage is to be taken, take one minim of the Chloride of Gold Solution (measured by dropper; not just guessed at) and two minims of the Bromide of Soda Solution stirred together in half a glass of water BEFORE the morning meal. Do this for five days. Leave it off for three days. Then take it for ten days - but the same amount each morning, you see; one minim of the Gold solution and two minims of the Soda Solution.
18. Then after five to ten days, if there is not the better reaction in the system, the whole procedure would be necessary to be repeated; beginning with the Atomidine and going through the whole procedure as indicated.
19. But when the first round of taking the Gold is begun, we would also begin with Codiron; two tablets or pellets each day, one with the morning meal, one with the evening meal. Keep these throughout the winter months; that is, the

Codiron properties, see? not the others.
20. In taking the manipulations or corrections for the distribution and activity of those things taken internally as we have indicated, to act with the glandular system - we would stimulate - as indicated - those specific areas for activity.
21. These would be taken for about three weeks, left off for two weeks, and then another series taken of about the same period. No matter if these HAVE been taken, take them during the periods of the properties given internally - for the CORRECTING of the system is to be accomplished; and we will bring near to normal forces for this body.
22. In the matter of the diet - beware of fried foods. Do not mix cereals and citrus fruit juices at the same meal, or take both at the same meal, see? Do not eat too much white bread at the same meal with potatoes or macaroni; or better that no two of these be eaten at the same meal. No fried foods.
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) How long should this course of treatment be kept up? (A) As indicated, it may be necessary to be repeated. But it should not be necessary to be repeated more than the once; or the two rounds or series, see?
