1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '37 - the entity is passing through a period of a great deal of unsettlement - '36 - '38 - '39 - and after the middle of '39 should be a great deal of change for the entity, if there will be the exertion of self in analyzing its own personality, its own purpose, and its place and position.")

3. We have the records here of that entity called [1752].

4. In giving the interpretation of the records, these urges from astrological aspects as well as material sojourns are taken with the desire to make the experience a helpful one for the entity.

5. The virtues as well as the shortcomings are indicated, - and thus in applying self the virtues may be stressed and the shortcomings corrected. For remember, the will is the factor so lacking in execution in the experience of this entity. It has depended upon, the entity has looked to others to make decisions. While it has a mind of its own, and at times appears to use it to disturbing factors and influences for others, we find it is well for the entity to analyze itself, to study the manners of controlling self by self's own will. Any study of psychological subjects, any study of will factors, would be most helpful and beneficial to the entity.

6. Make or exercise self as to be more dominant, but with that dominance tempered with mercy and justice and love and faith and hope as ye have desired and do desire to be

1752-1 Page 2

expressed toward thyself and thy relationships.

7. For remember, there are immutable laws as respecting the mental and spiritual life. And these are they that live ON and ON. And in the material associations these are the basis of that manner in which the entity should act, should express itself. For it is in so doing, in sowing the seeds that are truth, that are life, that are eternal, that the source of happiness, peace and contentment arises.

8. And these are the basic principles, then - with what manner ye mete to others, it will be measured to you again; what ye sow, ye reap - in word, in thought, in material manifestations.

9. In the astrological aspects we find certain influences in a benevolent as well as an adverse aspect.

10. As in Venus - a loving disposition, requiring sentiment as well as love; yet finding adverse forces in the experience. This tends to make the entity build about itself one feeling to be manifested to others, and another suppressed within self often.

11. Exercise thine own will, and we will find even in such conditions greater harmony may be experienced.

12. We find Jupiter in a benevolent influence to Venus, but adverse in Mars. And Mars is the approaching influence, as it has been for the last two to three years, and will remain active for another eight to nine months; and even THEN, because of its influence, there will be the necessity to put much out of the mental growth - not by merely submerging same but by a right-about-face as it were in thy desires and purposes, in constructive forces.

13. Then, rather than demanding for self - think of others.

14. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities - tempered with Venus and Jupiter in its benevolent forces, we find that Mercury as judgment, tempered with Venus and Jupiter, may bring a great deal of beauty and harmony; not only in what may be called love of obligations or love of duties with its own flesh, or flesh of its flesh, or children, but in its associations and activities and in its experiences with others.

15. For to see, to experience, to know the growth of love, of patience, of mercy - that is a longing within the innate experience - brings a growth, a satisfaction that may not be obtained in any other manner.

16. But as has been indicated, it may be only founded on constructive or creative thinking - and not of self or self's aggrandizement - in ANY sense!

17. As to the appearances - we find these become as the emotional influences, but tempered, to be sure, with the

1752-1 Page 3

influences from the astrological sojourns - or the interims between the material manifestations. Here we find, while all may not be given here, these are they that influence or produce the contending forces, as well as the creative and the magnifying influences in the experience through this particular period of this sojourn:

18. Before this we find the entity was in the land of its present sojourn, during the early portions of that period known as '49 (forty-nine).

19. With its helpmeet and family associations, the entity journeyed towards the western land from what would now be known as the eastern shores - or portions of that now called Maryland.

20. We find that the entity went through the hardships of such a trek, and gave its activities because of the very love for companionship and the hopes as expressed by those activities.

21. And because of some of the hardships, feelings were gradually made in which there was the lack of self-expression; and the entity became rather a drug as it were to those with whom it had started out AS the helpful force - hence the entity became a stumbling-stone.

22. The name then was Marion Clenden.

23. As we find in the present from that experience, always when hardships have come, or those periods when something went awry, there was always someone to whom the entity would turn for its dependence, as it were - and not asserting itself.

24. Hence the need in the present to arouse to the latent forces and powers that are within self - not to be just efficient, but efficient FOR something; and not merely self-efficient but more INDEPENDENT of the influence from others.

25. Give rather than take - and GIVE and GIVE, rather than just remain quiet.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Persian, when there was the arousing of the peoples for the influences which were a part of that experience in the land when Sennacherib and the peoples were overcoming the Jewish forces.

27. There we find the entity was among those of the household then of the ruling forces - or of the ruler himself.

28. Hence we find those things of pomp, of power, of wealth, of all the activities that went with the period, were a part of the entity's experience.

29. The name then was Shedeli. In the experience the entity

1752-1 Page 4

gained, for the entity showed mercy to those who were under the entity in the periods when the helpmeet and those of the entity's people became rulers over those of the land.

30. And in the present it may be said that this was one of the greater virtues - the patience the entity has with those who are in a more menial position, or who are in the social status beneath the entity's position.

31. This is well, if it is not allowed to become a stumbling-stone rather than a virtuous condition or position for the exertion of self in GIVING counsel as well as taking, and the associations in every form. Be sufficiently democratic, but be the DIRECTING force in thine own household, thine own group, thine OWN activities!

32. Before that we find the entity was in the land when there was the passing of the peoples known as the Hebrews through the wilderness.

33. There we find the entity was among the daughters of Midian, and acquainted with and in sympathy with those activities of those peoples in many ways.

34. Yet with the destructive forces that came about through wars (as is manifested in the adverse forces of Mars), we find that wrath, anger in the minds of others has driven the entity oft to do and be in the present - as through THOSE experiences - that which it of itself chose not, because of the FEAR as created by the wrath of many forms in the experiences of those with whom the entity was thrown.

35. The name then was Abijah.

36. In the present experience, again we find the abilities in many directions, the abilities of comprehension, the activities in which knowledge may easily become a part of the entity's experience. The application is not always so easy. But if the entity will turn to those forces and influences from which all power arises - knowing the SOURCES of that ye believe, as WELL as in what ye believe, - then ye may be enabled to enact and to carry ON in a way and manner that will become more self-assertive - not as with selfish motives, but for the good of the PURPOSE for which the entity seeks expression and manifestation in and throughout this experience.

37. Before that, then, we find the entity was also in the Egyptian land; during those periods when there was the building up of those periods just prior to the banishment of the Priest.

38. We find the entity was among those of the household of the counselors, who were chosen for the young King; being acquainted and associated with those activities of every nature which befell the daughters of the counselors.

1752-1 Page 5

39. With the turmoils, the entity found self - with those of its family - upon the sides of those causing or producing Rebellions.

40. With the Return of the Priest, and the building up in those periods of expansion, we find the entity rising to that to which it may even accomplish in its present experience - through self-assertion, by the purifying of motives and purposes to those intents and desires in Creative Forces.

41. Hence we find the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain and how, are dependent upon the application of self to its concept of truth, life, light - yea, and to immortality.

42. For the flesh is often weak, with all - as with the entity; but the Spirit is alive, and giveth life and strength to the motivative forces that may bring to pass, into the experience of those who apply self, that which brings joy, peace and contentment above all.

43. Then, look at self; and as to what is thy purpose, what is thy desire. Are they to fulfillthat whereunto ye have been given the opportunity in this material manifestation, and to be to the glory of the Creative Forces? or are they to satisfy self, and for self to become negative? Is this the way of life?

44. Rather be self-exertive in those things which are creative - music, in art, in literature, in the home, in the creating of that in the lives of those dependent upon thee for direction which will be such an example, such a precept that they, ALL whom ye may meet day by day, may call thee blessed!

45. In Him is the strength to carry on - in self-dependence alone, weakness; but self WITH the abilities, the power in truth and light, may carry forward.

46. Ready for questions.

47. (Q) What have been the past associations with my present husband? Explain these urges and advise me regarding my relations with him for our mutual mental and spiritual development? (A) These have been more than one. In the experience before this, the associations were close; and thy husband was disappointed in thy activities, as has been or may be expressed in the present; not because of the same kind of material faults or virtues, but the same sources. In the Persian experience the entity, the self benefited, - and made for those forces in which there were helpful experiences.

1752-1 Page 6

As to the manner of expression in the present, now - unless there is a united purpose, unless there is a condition in which trust and hope and understanding are expressed, these may not make for the best. But hold fast! Let not the blame, nor the setting of same, be charged against thee in any sense.

48. (Q) What have been my past associations with my present children? Explain the urges and tell me what I can do for their mental and spiritual development in this life. (A) These have been more than one also. They may BEST be drawn from a comparison, rather than from that in which the activities might be given from self alone.

49. (Q) Are there any particular studies that you would advise for me at this time? (A) Anything that pertains to the development of WILL-POWER within self. That of New Thought, that of EVERY nature where there is the ability to manifest. The study of those things in which ye may MANIFEST the SPIRITUAL truths through thy mental and thy physical self.

50. (Q) Are my business affairs in competent hands? (A) In the present. There are activities in which questionings may arise, but as has been indicated, the KNOWLEDGE of EVERY nature is thine. Exert thine own self.

51. (Q) Have you any advice to give me concerning a decision I, with others, made two months ago? (A) Very well. Hold to that thou hast chosen as the PURPOSE for same.

52. (Q) How can I be of the greatest help at this time to my father? (A) Close attendance in giving those who wait upon him the greater purpose - not materially but spiritually and mentally - for administering those things that may aid the most.

53. (Q) May any information regarding him be given that would be helpful now? (A) Not as we find in thyself, save as indicated. Be POSITIVE with those that minister.

54. (Q) What have been my past associations with [1602]? (A) These have been well. These have been very close. Ye have depended one upon another. The Persian and the Egyptian, these we find were the closer associations. Keep that as indicated. Let the strength of self not be wavered by advice of the many; but turn to the within, knowing that the POWER lieth there!

1752-1 Page 7

For when ye enter into the holy of holies, in thine own self, there ye may find STRENGTH that is beyond compare of man's physical abilities.
