1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions he submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1757].
3. Now as we find, there are many disturbing factors as prevent the better or best normal physical reaction. These, however, we find arise from rather a specific disturbance that in its reaction through the system produces rather the complication; or a condition where at varied times the effect is to be seen specifically in many different functionings of the system.
4. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1757] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The blood supply indicates the deficiency in manners of its reaction, and this in the present disturbance or present state indicates the toxic forces arise as much or more from the condition through the colon - as combined with a disturbance in the liver itself.
6. These, then, are the SOURCES of the disturbance; as through the blood stream we find at times the showing of an impoverishment, and the lack of the vital forces for the resuscitations.
7. Thus we have periods when the body feels slow or sluggish, and the reactions to the extremities or the locomotories - the feeling as of it being impossible to go forward or on. At other periods we find the sluggishness of the circulatory forces even makes for a hard activity with the heart, and this makes for a feeling as through the chest, and even through the heart area; as a shortness of breath or the lack of the ability to breathe entirely deep into the lungs. At other periods we find that lack of the eliminations through the activities of the organs of
1757-1 Page 2
elimination, and a form of constipation that makes for the accumulation of poisons through the system.
8. This creates as we find, as indicated in the present, another form of disturbance through the blood supply.
9. In its combination this makes for periods when the incoordination, or the lack of COOPERATIVE forces between the cerebrospinal and the nervous system, produces conditions when the effect to the whole of the general system is for the body to become morose, or to see the dark side, or to begin to worry and feel depressed.
10. Yet at other periods a mental stimuli for an appreciation of the better things makes for a stimulation to the whole system to carry on for the greater activities in the mental and spiritual lines - even when the BODY under such elations may oft feel very much depressed.
11. This of course produces then disturbance in the organs as in relation to the upper and the lower hepatic circulation - that causes an over or underactivity with the kidneys - as at times with some disturbance through the glandular forces in same; and the whole of the system suffers in this way and manner; as in the headaches, as in congestions in portions of the face, the throat, and the inclination for clearing the throat and the like.
12. All of these become a part of the conditions.
13. As we find, in adding to that as may be the most helpful - and as just indicated may stimulate an activity that may bring to the system a change ENTIRELY for the physical forces:
14. First, we would have the high colonic irrigations. The first two should be given by one well versed in same, or well prepared for giving such; as it would not be best to remove the WHOLE of the disturbance through the first application; using in the last waters an antiseptic AND making for the full cleansing of the colon. The first two, given by a trained operator, would be given as close as one each week.
15. Afterwards, about every two weeks, the body may take the colonic irrigation HIMSELF; by using the colon tube with a Fountain Syringe. These are MOST necessary. When this is done by self, use the soda and salt solution in the first water; the proportion being a heaping teaspoonful of salt and a level teaspoonful of soda to each quart of water, - and using, of course, about a quart and a half or a GALLON if necessary to remove the poisons and the accumulation of toxic forces that are a part of the cause of the disturbance through the colon area. Have the water body-temperature; not above or below same.

16. The first two should be given by a trained operator, for there is sufficient of the phlegm and congestion and mucous that necessarily must be CAREFULLY taken from the body.
17. We would also begin taking a tonic internally for the body, as may be found in Codiron; two tablets each day, taken with the heavier meals taken - or morning and evening meal. These would be taken AS the meal is taken; two tablets at each period they are taken. Keep these up for at least a two-week period, leave off a week and then take again; and do this THROUGHOUT the period of cold or inclement weather. And we will find this will keep off cold and congestion, and the inclination for sluggishness.
18. It would be well for the body also to take, every other day, the vibrations from the violet ray; preferably not the bulb applicator but the rod which the body either holds in the hand or sets the foot on it, with the rod lying upon glass, see? If it is taken in this way, alternate; using once in the right hand, once in the left; once with the right foot, once with the left. Do this for a minute and a half. There is no great feeling with this, if it is turned on AFTER the body has grasped the applicator for the applying of same.
19. Occasionally we would have a GENERAL osteopathic adjustment to alleviate the inclinations for closeness of the segments along the cerebrospinal system, especially in those areas where there is the close association of the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal connections - the 4th lumbar, 9th dorsal, 3rd and 4th dorsal and throughout the cervical areas. This not necessarily more than once a week, and then only about four or five; and then left off for a month, and then another four or five taken.
20. But the irrigations and the Codiron and the electrical forces we would take regularly in the manner indicated.
21. In the matter of the diet - here, too, we will find this must coordinate with the applications being given. Not too great a quantity ever of white bread or white potatoes, or spaghetti with cheese or the like. These may be taken in moderation at times, but plenty of whole wheat cereals or Maltex or the like of mornings; also orange juice or citrus fruit juices if they agree with the body (but not on the same mornings that the cereals are taken). As to meats, never any fried - but rather broiled, boiled or the like. Fish, fowl and lamb especially should be the meats. Vegetables - some green vegetables, or a combination of same, with some meal each day; such as celery, lettuce, radish, spinach - but this raw, not cooked. Spinach cooked is not so well for this particular body.

22. Such activities as these will bring a change that will be most desirable.
23. Do that.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) What should be done for hemorrhoids? (A) This is another reason why precaution should be taken with the first of the colonic applications, see? But when there has been a cleansing, we will find a great IMPROVEMENT in this condition. With the hemorrhoid, where and when it causes disturbance, use the ointment known as Tim - with the applicator where it may be injected. When this is applied, lie down, - putting the feet much higher than the head for a few minutes. The third or fourth application should reduce these to almost nil.
26. (Q) Is there any cancerous condition? (A) Not as we find, of that of true cancerous nature. Do these things as we have indicated; and as we find we will make for much better condition.
27. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See separate sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Osteopath. I am having the Health Home Remedies Corp. send you a tube of Tim, with injector. GD.) ctor. GD.)
