1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1770].
3. Now as we find, while conditions in the main are very good, there are influences and forces of which it would be well for the body to be aware, in the present; and in making those corrections for same bring about influences that may aid in correcting the forces that might bring greater disturbances if they are allowed to remain.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1770].
5. In considering the disturbing conditions, all phases of the experience, also the application for corrective measures, should be understood by the body.
6. The body is supersensitive to vibrations, whether they be of light, color or motion; all of which, of course, in essence are one, yet find their manifestations in varied degrees; which applied in the experience of an individual entity may at times, as in this individual at times, bring periods when too much of the one has made for an unbalancing in the physical reactions in other direction.
7. For as we find - as we view it - the body is body-physical, mind-physical and spiritual, and the mental or spiritual and soul self.
8. Hence we have attributes - in a material plane - for each of the phases of the experience in the body.
9. Thus we may find the mind through the emotions, as has in the experience of the entity brought such disturbing forces as to bring to the sensory forces that which produced and does at times produce physical disturbing conditions.
10. For the emotional self, using the physical forces of the body, rather than finding expressions in its activities,
1770-1 Page 2
brings about those things that may become as real in producing barriers for physical activities as in assimilation or digestion, as in the abilities to give expression to that which is felt, as in the influences which make for the ability of the entity to maintain or gain a common balance with influences about the body.
11. And these become then, into the physical reactions, just as detrimental as if the body were being disturbed by outside forces that make for an attachment to any influence of the physical functioning.
12. Hence we find these, then, as a physical description here of the bodily forces of this body, [1770]; we are speaking of:
13. In the blood supply - we find this in its vibratory influence or force alters quite easily. And at times we would find there would be the indications, by material expressions, the very great change in the pressures as would be called in the pulsation or the activity of the heart force itself. Yet no organic disturbance in it; though we find, as intimated, there are periods when there is the call upon the influence from the blood supply to carry the activities to the functioning of the mental stream through which the activity finds expression in the physical body, - as to cause a form of anemia. And yet anemia with a great change, as may be experienced in the blood pressure or supply, might be called from the physical reaction very, very disturbing. Yet little disturbance is experienced by the body save at times when there is a sudden change to the fagging as it were of the bodily forces in this physical condition.
14. These arise, as we give, primarily from the influences of the assimilating and the ability of distributing forces. Yet as these have functioned with centers from which the impulses of the sensory forces receive response, we find the body vivacious, giving expression to the need of individual and special activity, and yet it is using its strength and thus hindering some portions of the body; and thus they become organically not disturbed but functioning disturbed through the assimilating and the distributing of assimilated forces in the body.
15. Then, in the nerve forces - here we find, as has been oft given, there are those attributes of the physical and the mental, as well as the spiritual forces giving expression. There are those definite centers from which impulses arise; as the body has experienced and does experience through meditation, or prayer, or vibratory forces being aroused
1770-1 Page 3
from the centers of the bodily force as they connect with the sensory system as related to the cerebrospinal.
16. For, while within the physical body, all of these find a source and means of expression through same. If these are raised THROUGH the system, through periods when there is the lack of the proper activity within the physical body to supply, these may at times cause anxieties; and rather than bringing the peace as should be in the mental forces, it brings a fear because of the activities in the centers from which impulse may be sent out through the system.
17. Then, if there is the continuing in such, these become a detriment for the moment. Not that there is not that in spirituality that should be applied in the material and the mental to increase or release that as is necessary. But remember that each phase of this body, mind and soul is dependent upon its environs for activity.
18. And as we find manifested in the very life of Him who is the way, it is a part of that consciousness to which all aspire to attain, and in and through which all may receive that which is the harmony and peace and life and health, - and the manner of expression as was in HIS body. It bled, it suffered, it showed not only the water and the blood as would gush forth but showed to man how that in the material world he is subject to material laws, even though DIVINE in its essence, its abilities.
19. Hence each must be met in its own phase of experience, its own phase of activity. Consequently, we find that no matter in what form there may be applications to a body for a disease, they arise from the life-giving force which is ever the same; whether that of creating a normal balance, that of purifying any portion of a physical body, or the creating of such a united, concerted effort between the phases of the bodily emotions. So, whether it be suggestion, vibration, mechanical application or its own source of energy from the emotions of the body itself, or from the plant, animal, mineral or vegetable kingdom, it is the motivative force or power or life or God-force - if you choose - that is the healing, that brings harmony - as is experienced and known by the body - that keeps the physical forces of this body or any other in a normal balance as an individual unit.
20. Then, in the physical forces of this body as related to organic reactions, -
21. Brain forces we find good - their responses, their reflexes all are very good.
22. The influences through the sensory system are impaired, by those very activities as we have indicated.
1770-1 Page 4
23. Be mindful then that there are not those detrimental forces either for the hearing or the vision, the throat, the feeling, or the senses through which the application of such may become an awareness to the bodily forces of the system.
24. Through the bronchials, lungs and larynx - here we find we need to keep more of a balance between the potashes and the alkalines for the system itself; so that in the lacteal assimilation, which as indicated is so disturbed at times, we may find a more harmonious and a better impelling force to supply the energies of the bodily forces; whether the functioning of the organs, the functioning of the sources of supply of energies to the mental or through the nerve forces, or whether to the blood stream itself which carries the life impulse with same - these must receive their proper impelling force from that which is assimilated mentally or materially. But their functionings are through the attributes of its own system, and not through one another.
25. In the activities through the lungs and the larynx, and the heart forces - though as indicated there are those great changes as may be found, nor organic or even functional but rather a reflex from the impulses through same.
26. Through the digestive system and the activities of same impulses are needed for a better and more harmonious effect of the glandular system; so that all portions of the system may be kept in a more harmonious atmosphere of expression; and not of a dread or a fear of giving away under any strain.
27. For remember, even within each atomic force of a corpuscle, or the very HUMOR of the blood stream, is the pattern not only of the body but of the universe. And as these flow through the system, they need to keep their harmonious activity.
28. In the liver, pancreas, spleen and the activities of the ducts of the gall duct area, all of these at times show strain; though not an organic but at times a functional disturbance - more sympathetic than acute, though at times any of these may become acute. Hence the warnings, and as indicated the applications that may make for an attuning of same to the high mental abilities and the high FUNCTIONING of the bodily forces of this body to same.
29. Through the jejunum, colon and the organs of the pelvis - all of these we find are very well, save as hes been indicated, that the lower portion of the hepatic circulation becomes involved in the attempt to keep a normal equilibrium; tending to make for the carrying back into the system of uric forces at times that give distresses, or find
1770-1 Page 5
expression in the extremities of the body.
30. These are not sources of infection, but rather as that precautions should be had.
31. Then, in making applications for bringing better normal forces for the body:
32. We would use a tonic that would be, not all inclusive but carrying such forces - especially through the periods of change and periods of activity within the self - that may make for the better coordinating for every influence of the body; as may be had in Codiron. This we would take. The balance in iron, cod liver oil and the vitamins is such that to THIS body it will give the energizing forces and relieve these tensions.
33. There needs to be, however, the exercises, the breathing, the activities as related to the diet - not such as "Well, I can't do this," or "I can't do that," or can't do the other; but as the better forces of self require the needs of this or that activity from the vegetable kingdom, use them in those ways and manners as will give not only the supplying of the energies but to make - through the bodily forces - the necessary influence for the body to use same in such a way and manner as to give the supply of fuel necessary for all phases of expression in the material body.
34. The massage - following the hydrotherapy treatment occasionally - would be well; as the hot and cold spray or bath or rubdown. All of these become a part.
35. But add the Codiron; two pellets WITH the heavier meal of each day, for three to four weeks; leave off for a like period, and then take again - and especially through the next three months.
36. And we will find bettered conditions in every way with this body, [1770].
37. Ready for questions.
38. (Q) What caused the swelling and fever in the tooth and under the left eye? (A) A centralization and localization of the disturbing forces from the very lack of proper drainages set up through the system. And as indicated, with the stimulating to the assimilating forces of the body, and the activities of such as in the exercises with the hydrotherapy and massage, these may be set in their proper relationships again as one to another.
39. (Q) Is system hyper-acid? (A) As indicated, there is the necessity of keeping this in a more alkaline balance; tending towards a superacidity is the system, as may be indicated from at times there being carried back as in this local condition which arose, the
1770-1 Page 6
uric forces which are an excess, of course, of acids in the system.
40. (Q) Are there any particular foods I should not eat? (A) Rather particular combinations that the body should not eat. Do not take in the same meal such as white bread and white potatoes, or any spaghetti or macaroni or things of that kind during the same meal. For these carry the influences of those forces that become combative one to another with the digestive and assimilating forces. Do not use milk or cream IN coffee, tea or the like, for these also produce activities which become combative within the assimilating forces of the body. Do not take quantities of oils or greases. No fried foods ever.
41. (Q) Should eyes be tested? (A) Eyes should be tested, but AFTER at least three weeks treatments with the tonic as indicated and at least two or three of the massages and the therapy treatments.
42. (Q) Would any local treatments be of benefit to the eyes? (A) Those of the general nature are better than the local here. For as indicated, all of the sensory forces are affected, owing to the high - not nerve tensions but the high SENSITIVENESS of the body. Thus often it sees and hears and feels and smells too much many times, because of its feelings for others - unless it keeps a good normal balance. This naturally finds reflection or a physical reaction in the bodily forces through which such expressions find their response; that is, the hearing, seeing, tasting. All of these become highly sensitive, through the very high sensitivity - and yet if the body allows these to become WEARING upon the system, then it becomes nerve tension, you see.
43. (Q) Should I continue my Noyes Rhythm? (A) This is very well, as also the adding of color rhythm.
44. (Q) What treatment would be beneficial to sacro-iliac and coccyx nerve? (A) The hydrotherapy and the general massage. Do these things - and as we find, study - now - that as has been indicated for the bodily knowledge of self, as it applies to keeping harmonious balance through the system; and we will find the body responding much more easily. For if ANY form of treatment, any form of application or activity is merely ROTE, the body accepts it rather as a habit and NOT that of a helpful force.
45. (Q) Where would you suggest I go for the hydrotherapy treatments? (A) Reilly's is well.
