Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1772]; this we have had before, you see.

3. As we find, there are many changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Some are towards improvement, or an arrestment of disturbing conditions. Others, in the general conditions of the body, are not so well in some directions.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1772] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. In the blood supply we find there are indications of toxic forces and an ARRESTED circulation. This is indicated in pressures upon the nerve centers through portions of the body, and is more of a neuritic reaction than rheumatic. For, while the toxic forces are from the lack of proper coordinations in the eliminating systems, these are not of that nature as commonly termed of the rheumatic nature.

6. But with the removal of the pressure, and stimulating of the circulation with the coordinating of the centers between cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve forces, the disturbance and causes will be removed; though these may at times appear again through that of over-indulgence in any nature, either in foods or exposure, or any character that tends - with the general activity of the system - to slow circulation. For, naturally, with the progress of activity, this becomes gradually slowed through the system as age proceeds or progresses in the general consciousness of the physical body.

7. In the nerve system - the centers or places upon which these pressures are indicated are more specifically from the areas along the lower limbs. Hence a pressure exists in the

1772-2 Page 2

lumbar and sacral axis; and this little heaviness that at times occurs across the small of the back, the conditions in the upper portion of the limbs, the knees, and especially in those areas where there was an injury to the nerve center close to the bone itself there is given some distress.

8. Then, as to the effects from the nerve system as related to the circulation through the organs of the sensory system, - we find that the eyes, the throat, the nose and the passages to the respiratory forces are at TIMES sympathetic to the condition, from the general toxic forces of the body.

9. However, as indicated heretofore, the specific conditions in the optics themselves show arrestment, and some improvement; by the stimulation to same through those high electrical forces indicated.

10. Now, in making the administrations for the corrections through the general forces - these, too, may be considered and may be aided in the reflexes and activities to this portion of the body.

11. In the organs of the body, as indicated, there has been a slowing of assimilation that naturally hinders those portions of the body in the distribution of that assimilated. The incoordination of the cerebrospinal and sympathetic impulses adds to this slowing of the activity of the organs, especially of the hepatic circulation. This in turn AFFECTS the circulation to the heart, the liver, the kidneys; though we do not find organic disturbance in either of these - rather a sympathetic reaction to general disturbances.

12. As we find, then, in making administrations that would be helpful towards producing better conditions through this body:

13. We would have the general hydrotherapy treatments; including, first, a general cabinet sweat, the sitz baths, the thorough rubdown and massage, with special reference in the massage to the lumbar and sacral axis. Also include the superficial activity over the limbs, the knees, the feet especially; also a coordinating with the deep massage - not so much adjustments as deep massage - to stimulate coordinating activity of the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve systems, as well as impulses of blood supply in these areas specifically.

14. The adjustments, if made, would be in the lumbar and sacral, the coordinating centers through the 9th, 8th and 7th dorsal, through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, and throughout the cervical areas. These would be more by massage than adjustments, however; though movements in the area from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervical - with the body

1772-2 Page 3

relaxed - will be most helpful.

15. After the cabinet sweat, and as the body is being rubbed down, use an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil; massaging what the body will absorb by the circulation, without the clogging of same, to assist in stimulating better superficial activity. These treatments would be taken about once a week, you see.

16. For these applications, WE would suggest such as Reilly.

17. If after the first and second such treatments there is still trouble with eliminations, WE would have a full colonic irrigation along with the general hydrotherapy. This would assist in removing poisons that in themselves produce pressures upon the general nerve system. It would also aid the activities of the whole hepatic circulation, - which includes liver, heart AND kidneys - to a nearer normalcy.

18. During the same period that the massages and hydrotherapy treatments are being given, we would also - at least once a week, preferably when ready to retire - use the Violet Ray (hand machine) double-eye applicator for a short period, a minute or less. Then follow this immediately with the single-eye applicator for the right eye especially, not more than half a minute. These will aid materially - with those activities through the massage - to eliminate those disturbances as produce reactions in the body in the present - for the conditions in the eye and the face. It is preferable that this treatment be used on the evening of the same day that the hydrotherapy applications have been made.

19. As to the diet - keep away from those things that are hard to digest; that is, red or rare meats of any nature, and too much of pastries or white breads. But have plenty of fruits, plenty of vegetables - raw AND cooked; and not EVER too much meats - and these principally either wild game, fish, fowl or lamb - any of these are well in moderation. Refrain from fried foods or quantities of fats. Never too much of any drinks with carbonated waters. These are detrimental to the better reactions of an already disturbed assimilation.

20. Do these, and as we find we will bring the better conditions for this body.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) In what condition is the liver? (A) As indicated, it is slow in its functioning; though not an organic disturbance, but a functional one. And the stimulation of those centers indicated, and the bodily circulation, should stimulate better eliminations and thus aid in the improvements of these reactions.

23. (Q) In what condition do you find the eyes? (A) As indicated, there is the arrestment of that disturbance; but as we find, there is not a great improvement - that is, in the vision; though with this combination of applications as we have now suggested, we should find improvement there also.

24. (Q) Will this preserve eyesight in the good eye? (A) It will preserve the eyesight.

25. (Q) What is the cause of the condition in the right eye? (A) Lack of the ELIMINATING of used energies, produced by pressures in the nerve system.

26. (Q) Has there been bad effects from the injury to the shin bone? (A) This becomes a contributory cause to those general conditions of the neuritic nature through the body. This has been taken into consideration with the applications here suggested - as to the movement especially of the feet, the limbs, and then in reference to same when the massages are given; and especially over these portions of the limb there would be the massaging thoroughly with the combination of the oils suggested, for the enlivening of the circulation of the skin itself, see?

27. (Q) Is exercise dangerous to the condition of the heart? (A) As indicated, this is not an organic heart condition, you see; but it is from a combination of things. Until there is the beginning of better eliminations, strenuous exercise would be dangerous; but as improvements come, a little general exercise would be beneficial. This would come, then, after some three or four such treatments are made to set up better eliminations. After the second or third of the hydrotherapy treatments, have at least one good colonic irrigation; and it may be necessary for another later - to remove the congestion or the mucous in portions of the colon. This will aid materially in reducing this pressure upon the circulation to the heart, liver and kidneys, and we will find all functioning much nearer to normal.

28. (Q) What about the trouble from stiff neck? (A) This has been specifically outlined in regard to the massage, as to the movement - gently - of the segments throughout the cervical or the neck area; that we may relieve this tension. But it is necessary to eliminate these poisons - by the sweats, the massages and all; else any such movements would be more detrimental than beneficial in their effects.

But do these things indicated, and we will bring better forces for this body.
