1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. Now as we find, the conditions are somewhat different from those we have had here before. Some show improvements through the activity of the system; others are rather under a strain and stress.
4. These disturbances arise, as we find, from too great a concentrated form of vitamins. Though these conditions are rather inclined to come and go - we find there is the feeling of repression that arises from this slowing of the circulation through the whole of the system. There is the expression more, of course, through the areas where there is the purifying or the oxidization of the blood force - or the taking in of oxygen.
5. The excess of the forces or vital energies in the effluvium of the system, not being assimilated at times, produces this heaviness, this feeling of a fullness and choking through the lung, and the area especially right above or in the center above the sternum - or the central breast bone; as it causes, or has caused, a dilation of the trachea proper.
6. As to the activities through the rest of the system, - there is the inclination in the farther extremities for a heaviness and a numbness, and at times the reflexes very much on the order of a neuritic reaction - though it is not so much neuritis proper as it is the slowing of the circulation through those portions of the system.
7. As we find, then:
8. We would have at least three or four good, deep manipulations osteopathically; with special reference to stimulating the central nerve system - as from the 3rd and 4th cervical areas to the 9th dorsal. These especially should be stimulated, with the action of better drainages

set through the vegetative nerve force.
9. Also each evening we would use the Violet Ray (hand machine, bulb applicator), especially on the lumbar centers, and the sacral, and along the limbs; and the brachial center, and over the shoulders, neck, arms and hands. Give this directly to the body itself (next to the skin, you see), and for about three to five minutes - during that period covering the whole of the areas indicated, each portion having its division of the treatment according to the time set.
10. Then, as to the diet:
11. During these periods when there is the tendency for cold and congestion, and those activities in which there are sudden changes with the body-temperature - we would use more of those vitamins as will be found in ADIRON - these would be the more beneficial. Take these with the meals; one tablet at the morning meal, one at the evening meal, and two at the noon meal, see?
12. Also keep a great deal of Vitamin B-1, especially. This as we find may be obtained in the Knox Gelatine or in steel cut oats (cooked a long time). These are the principal sources from which this may be obtained, in a manner that would assimilate better with this body - of the other vitamins as found in ADIRON are taken in the manner indicated (as the A, B, G and D, and some C).
13. Do these, and we will find the better conditions, better resistance, better strength built up for the body.
14. To be sure, keep the eliminations in good order. An aid to this would be found in the use of a food prepared in this manner: 1 cup Black Figs, chopped or ground very fine, 1 cup Dates (not seeded),* 1/2 cup Yellow Corn Meal (not too finely ground). Cook this for twenty minutes in sufficient water 2 or 3 cups) for it to be the consistency of mush, or cook until the meal is thoroughly cooked in same. Eat a tablespoonful of this mixture of an evening, not all at once but let it be taken slowly so as to be well assimilated as it is taken. This will be most helpful for the body. * [I think the reference to Dates "not seeded" means that you should use the big dates that have not been packed, and take the seeds out yourself just before preparing them. GD.]
15. Ready for questions.
16. The Violet Ray used each evening when ready to retire will make better rest, and better circulation.

17. Don't take more of the concentrated vitamins, in the manner as has been taken heretofore, or that caused much of this disturbance.
18. (Q) Has this caused the pounding of the heart so much of late? (A) As indicated - all of these effects arise from same.
19. (Q) What has caused again the touch of old congestion in chest and upper part of back. (A) As given. Do these things as we have outlined, and we will have better conditions for the body, [1779].
20. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Dr. Dobbins.) Dobbins.)
