Time of Reading 4:20 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, the body here is developing near normally. There needs be only those precautions which have been indicated, and the keeping of a well balanced diet.

4. We find that, now, the orange juice and grapefruit juice would be more preferable than too much of tomato juice. Or, if it is desired to use tomato juice, it will be found that the juice obtained from regular canned tomatoes is preferable to most of that prepared only as juices, see?

5. Then with these as a general outline, and those corrections and indications given, we would keep better conditions.

6. Occasionally, even with the age and the growth or development, we would have a thorough relaxation through osteopathic adjustments; not so much adjustments needed except occasionally, but that there may be a general stimulation through the manipulation for a normal, nominal equilibrium - especially through the lumbar and sacral, the 9th dorsal, the 6th and 7th dorsals, and the cervicals from the 5th to the base of the brain. These will be most helpful.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Does the tomato juice in 4 oz. quantities agree? (A) As indicated, take the juice from the regular canned tomatoes and NOT that which has been prepared. Also, as indicated, we would use a little less tomato juice and more of the orange juices - preferably.

9. (Q) Is there any way to eliminate spitting, which still continues slightly? (A) This is not an indication so much of disagreement of foods. While it is disagreeable at times, we find that as there is gradually more feeding there will be gradually less of this expulsion; and smaller quantities of feeding will

tend to make less spitting.

10. (Q) Is the red rash on his cheeks at times cause for alarm? (A) Only the indication of a little superacidity - and the need for a stimulation of the liver, and the diets corrected - or not so rich. This is why the mechanical (osteopathic) applications or adjustments would be beneficial occasionally - once or twice a month.

11. (Q) How can he be helped to learn to urinate regularly, or to keep his pants dry? (A) This is a natural consequence, and needs only to be considered as the growth and development comes about, by suggestion. The greater suggestion in controlling anything of this nature may be made by the parents as the body goes to sleep.

12. (Q) Should anything be done to prevent thumb sucking, since the roof of his mouth is being pushed out of shape? (A) This is not a harmful condition as yet, but this - too - can best be controlled by suggestion, in the manner indicated. However, this must not be done as mere rote, or as something just to be gotten through with - but very positively giving the very gentle suggestion as he sinks to sleep; not after he has gone to sleep for a long time, but as he is losing consciousness and there is the ability to control or suggest to the greater subconscious self, see?

13. (Q) Is there anything to add or to change in his diet? (A) Other than that as indicated, we find the things being used are very well.

14. (Q) Should more calcium be added to his diet, since he has only six teeth? (A) This as we find will be added better in more of the orange juice and more of the beef juices, or liver extract; and with the Calcios occasionally - very little, but a very little of this may be given on bread once or twice a week.

15. (Q) What effect will his new surroundings have on him? (A) This depends upon the suggestions as will be made. If it is to be kept in an optimistic manner, it all should prove MOST helpful.

16. (Q) Is there anything that can be done to improve them? (A) This would be like asking how to make the rose smell sweet! Rather this is a stimulation from those upon whom the body is dependent for such environs, to create more pleasant, more helpful surroundings.

17. (Q) Are there any special educational toys that can be gotten for him to make his outdoor periods more interesting? (A) There are many of these that may be gradually accumulated. They will be found in the better shops.

18. (Q) Any other suggestions for his parents at this time

1788-7 Page 3

to aid him in healthy and mentally strong development? (A) These as we find as indicated are those suggestions in a general way and manner, and - of course - the sources of supply are to be considered, as to the spiritual life and purposes within.
