Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1797] at his home near ..., Mass. In an effort to understand better the information he has previously received, and because he is anxious to learn just what purpose he should fulfillin this material existence, and also because he wishes to lead a truly useful life employing his talents and abilities to their best advantage, this entity presents a list of questions, which you will answer, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1797]; the desires, the intents and purposes of the entity; the conditions which exist in the experience in the present; together with the information which has been indicated as to channels through which the entity may better manifest, - thus fulfilling those purposes for which the entity entered this present experience.

3. In answering, or giving expression to the questions, the desires and conditions, it might be well to give from here the premise from which all of these are to be judged, or analyzed; that, in determining the manner of activity, the entity might be more in line with choosing the best activity to pursue.

4. First - the entity finds self a body, a mind, a soul; in a three-dimensional world. In the physical or material we see, the more often, the manifestations of the mental and the material successes, failures, or confusions in the experience of individuals. Life - as manifested in this three-dimensional plane - is a combination not only of the present experiences, the present problems, the present urges (as has been indicated for the entity), but of ALL the experiences; and the awareness of same is only manifested through that phase or portion of the mental self as it seeks to know its source of activity - or the spiritual or soul self.

5. The spiritual or soul self is the eternal. Hence the

1797-3 Page 2

mental is both of material and of spiritual, or divine origin.

6. Hence, the individual who aided man in setting forth laws, rules or regulations - or who is known as the lawgiver - gave expression to that which, if it is wholly understood in the consciousness of an individual, puts before him all the problems and yet the answers to same, day by day.

7. Then, as he gave, it is not who will descend from heaven to bring you a message, or who will come from over the seas or from without to make you aware; but lo, the whole answer is within thy own consciousness. For, as ye become aware of this, in thy relationships, there is the realization within self of that spiritual awareness which may enable self to DO that which is ever the constructive exercising of the will in materiality; for: Today there is set before thee good and evil, life and death; choose thou.

8. That factor of the spiritual self, or of the soul (the will), then enables the individual to cooperate with that spirit, that truth, that fact which has ever been set before man - "If ye will be my son, I will be thy God - If ye call, I will hear - Behold, I stand at the door and knock; I will enter, if ye ask."

9. Then, these are not mere sayings! They are FACTS, truths, life itself! but the individual is not made aware of same through the material things nor material-mindedness; rather through spiritual-mindedness, as to purposes and activities of the soul in its lessons, its tenets that it has carried through its expressions in the earth.

10. Then, in that which has been given through this channel as to the activities of this entity in the earth, there has been pointed out to the entity those urges which are innate, and in which the entity may find the greater harmony, greater fulfilling of purposes and desires as they are brought to material expression in its associations and activities with its fellow men.

11. These, as has been pointed out, are in association or affiliation with things or conditions having to do with the products of the earth, the soil - or those that indicate their willingness, or activity, or desire, to be the producers of those things which take hold upon the storehouse of nature.

12. Not that these are the ONLY sources, nor the only means or manners. For, in whatsoever field of service the entity chooses to give expressions of its abilities, these same principles as indicated may be applied. But, those activities IN SUCH FIELDS AS INDICATED would find the least resistances - once the entity has found or established self

1797-3 Page 3

in those directions.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) For what purpose, or for what particular work, did I enter this present material existence? (A) This has just been answered in that indicated. Not that there is already a line set out. There IS the line in which there will be found least resistance, once established upon that line; and that is in association or connection with things or conditions dealing with the products of the soil. As to whether this is to be the establishing of farms, or through government associations, or in other directions, is to be the choice of self. For, as the entity has seen (and with a little analysis and study of same it will be seen the more), there has gradually come the awakening within the consciousness of those in charge of the rules, the regulations or problems of man's existence in the earth, that there must be more and more a return of man to the closer relations or associations with the products which supply life and sustenance to man in all walks of life. Then, whether the exercising of such associations is to be in conjunction with the government, or with organizations or groups that would enable individuals to finance themselves in such a proposition or such outlets, is to be a choice of self. But it is in this field, in this direction, that greater harmony, a greater feeling of complying with that which is creative in the lives of those with whom the entity may come in contact day by day, may be experienced by the entity.

15. (Q) In what particular department or division of this work should I devote my efforts to find my greatest usefulness? (A) As just indicated, in that of aiding or assisting others; or it may be in ANY field as would pertain to the handling and the distribution of such products.

16. (Q) I am considering the possibility of joining with others, in the business of advising corporations on financial needs, arranging for reorganization when necessary and advising on other corporate matters. Would this work offer a truly useful life for me, and would I be successful in helping corporations on such matters? (A) This work offers a truly useful life, but - as has just been indicated - it is not as close in keeping with that which offers the greater opportunities and abilities of the entity, as would be that in connection with the soil, or the

1797-3 Page 4

development, or organizations or activities that would deal with PRODUCTS of the soil.

17. (Q) I have been considering the possibility of buying farms, rehabilitating them, putting them in production on a small scale and then selling them to those interested in such properties. Is this a work which I should undertake, and would it be a work in which I would be truly useful? (A) This is a VERY good work; yet, as may be indicated and surmised, it would require a great deal of capital, a great deal of knowledge of the products of the various vicinities or communities, and the needs, and the distribution of such products. However, it is very close to those forms of activity as we have suggested; and if the choice is made in these directions for the activities, these may prove to be most successful operations. But it will necessitate a great deal of study upon the productions of same in the various vicinities, communities, and throughout the land. And it should NOT be an organization or activity in one local vicinity, but should be so varied that in the various communities there should be the production of that FROM the soil in each vicinity to make for the constant flow of same not only to the markets but to outlets that may be established with such an organization for the continuous use or distribution of such products, in a most helpful manner to a great many individuals.

18. (Q) I have considered two lines of endeavor which may have been indicated from information previously received, that is: (a) the work of an investment counselor or (b) the work of a farm cooperative. Are either of these activities those in which I may be most useful, and if so in which may I use my abilities to the best advantage for others? (A) In either of these the abilities may be used for aiding others. Remember the premise from which we have been reasoning, or from which judgement or analysis may be drawn. As we find, and as indicated, that which will have more to do with the products of the soil will eventually prove the MOST congenial, the easier, and with less disturbing factors. However, as an investment counselor, if considered in the FIELDS as we have indicated, the abilities may be used VERY well. PREFERABLY, we would advise that which would have to do with products of the soil. As indicated, this may be done by cooperative manners, or by the study of that which the government has done and is undertaking in the re-settlement, the re-establishing, the rehabilitating of many of just such products throughout the land. Such studies may be used as a means for gaining the knowledge necessary, or this may be used as a channel through which

1797-3 Page 5

the studies of such might enable the forming later of individual or private corporations to do just the same thing! But as outlined, as indicated, there should be those that would cover the vegetable market, or those vegetable products of either southwest Texas, or Florida, the peach growers of Georgia, the melons of Georgia, and such conditions or products peculiar to Louisiana, the Carolinas, also other portions of the land, where there is still a continuous flow of all such products to a central market that might be indicated or established by just such corporations. See, it would be - first - the understanding of how it might be accomplished - that is, the lands, the workers upon same - a cooperative organization; and the supplying, then centering in New York, Philadelphia or the like, to which ALL such would be sent for a central distribution of same, see? That is, the cooperative force throughout. It is to meet the needs not only of all classes or masses, but it is the manner in which the government and individual or private corporations or activities may be engaged for a successful operation. And don't forget - you may sow the seed; God alone gives the increase. You may sow the seed in thy mental association - God alone must give the increase. You may sow the seed in an organization for cooperation in distribution - God alone may keep these in the way. Take God with you, then, into all thy activities!

19. (Q) To whom should I go for advice and help in starting, or in preparing myself to start, this work? (A) As has been indicated, the preparation for same may best be had by the study of, or association with, government projects that have been undertaken, are being undertaken, are IN OPERATION throughout the land! These exist in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and especially in the South where there has been so little of the educating of the groups that they have become a part of the large landowners. It isn't that the entity should own land and then bleed the people, as many a community or county - or even state - has!

20. (Q) Should my wife and I continue to operate our farm on a subsistence basis only, or should we endeavor to produce certain products for profit? (A) This may be taken as an example. But, as indicated, there are certain products here, in this vicinity, that may be used, or that may supply the needs of certain demands. For, in the consideration of the whole, it will be found

1797-3 Page 6

that products grown in individual localities are best suited to the needs of individuals living or dwelling within those same localities. Not that there are not to be supplies that are interchangeable - but this may be used as an EXAMPLE of just that as we have outlined for the entity.

21. (Q) What products, or animals, should we specialize in raising on our farm? (A) As indicated, make a study of these - through information that may be gained from the government, or through association with the government that has made a study of just what is especially adaptable for growth in certain communities, certain kinds of land, certain animals, and certain other things. All of these would be studies that would be as a part of the training for the greater work.

22. (Q) In what way might we best use our farm and its products for the use of others? (A) As just indicated.

23. (Q) Please give such advice as will help me to find the work thru which I may fulfill most completely the purpose for which I entered, so that I may lead a truly useful life. (A) If the abilities are analyzed from that first premise from which we have been reasoning, it will be seen that in any field of service the entity may lead a useful life; but if there is the analyzing of self, self's desires, self's purposes, self's abilities, it will be seen that the field as indicated offers the greater opportunities, and not just that which is appealing for the moment. Then, study thyself - and it will be seen that the line has been laid out.

24. (Q) Is there any particular department or division of this work in which I might find my greatest usefulness? (A) This has ALL been indicated here.
