Time of Reading 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, while there are improvements, these have not as yet reached the stage where there is not a great deal of disturbance. But to the present there have been rather those periods of the preparation, that there may be the more definite and specific corrections made that will relieve the great tension which has existed in the nervous system.

4. In making the applications for the corrective measures osteopathically - thus far these have been very well, and in keeping with the suggestions indicated.

5. Now, there should be more of the definite corrections, as well as keeping soft tissue pliant and in order; but definite corrections where lesions are indicated in the cerebrospinal system, especially through the vagus centers, - that is, the upper dorsal and cervical - that should bring a greater relief from the strains to the nervous system which are contributory to the severe headaches that occur at times. Also there should be the corrections in the lumbar, sacral and coccyx area, that will relieve the tensions through these areas.

6. We would continue the use, then, of all the other applications as we have indicated.

7. And we would add, personally (that is, giving it to self), just before retiring of evening, the vibrations from the Violet Ray (hand machine, bulb applicator); to the pit of the stomach first, you see - then to the 9th dorsal, then around the head, the neck, and across the upper portion of the body; that is, across the shoulder blades and neck. This will tend to relax the body, and should be taken just before retiring - for about three to four minutes.

8. Also the douches should be taken occasionally for the relieving of the tension through the coccyx area and through

the organs of the pelvis. These are to relieve tension through the areas, see?

9. If these are done, as we find, we will make for greater corrections now with the heart disturbance, the general nervous reactions - and make for better conditions with the body.

10. Refrain from sedatives in so much as is practical. When necessary, of course, these may be taken, but do not do so unless absolutely necessary.

11. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) What treatment can you suggest for an irritation of the cervix? (A) Those that have been indicated will make for better conditions throughout the whole of the body, including the cervix.

13. (Q) When may I expect relief from headaches, if treatments now being given are proper? (A) As indicated, we will now change many of the treatments as well as the manipulations in their effect, through the application of the electrical treatments for the nerve forces; and within the next two or three weeks we should find these conditions not only lightening but gradually disappearing entirely.

14. (Q) Is smoking detrimental to condition of heart and system at present time? (A) In excess is irritating, but as it has been used - or if it is used in moderation, as a sedative - not harmful.

15. (Q) What effect are treatments having on heart, if any? (A) As indicated, if those corrections are made throughout all the vagus centers - the upper dorsal and cervical areas, as well as in the lower portion the tension relieved from those subluxations and lesions there - we should find easier conditions for the heart's activity.

16. (Q) What is the condition of the heart at the present time, and can we look forward to any PERMANENT cure for that trouble? (A) As indicated, we are changing the effects to the system now, and there should be improvements. The applications heretofore, as indicated, have been as a preparation, you see, so that when corrections were made they would not be too great a shock to the soft tissue along the cerebrospinal system or in the sympathetic system.

17. (Q) What is cause of chest pains, and what treatment for curing same? (A) As indicated, use the Violet Ray across those areas. These are reflexes from nervous tensions.

18. We are through with this Reading.
