1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1810]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there is quite a variation in the conditions which exist in the present and those that caused the upsets through the physical forces of the body. Yet tendencies and inclinations, as we find, are still existent in the physical forces of the body.
4. Thus, in giving the helpful influences in the present, there must be taken into consideration the acute conditions arising from an unbalancing of the digestive forces of the body, and the effects these have produced upon the functioning of the organs in the system.
5. We find that in the present there is the inclination for the lack of production of the lactic fluids in the digestive system. And this produces a form of acidity. Or, from the lack of the ability for having the proper balance in these lacteal activities, undigested fermentations arise which produce - through the duodenum, and portions of the pylorus - the tendencies toward the exaggerating feelings. Or, the body becomes aware of there being pressure in portions of the area about the beginnings of the jejunum, through the alimentary canal, or throughout the jejunum, and especially in those areas of the gall duct.
6. With the activity here, we find that the secretions - that are a part of the activity or active functioning of pancreas and spleen, as related to the liver secretions that supply portions of the fluids for assimilation - then cause an upsetting, or a tendency towards irritation in the gall duct area.
7. The first series of disturbances that became acute arose from an excess of oils or fats that were not assimilated by

the flow of the juices or secretions from the gall duct area.
8. Hence, not only were there those feelings of irritation but they extended through the right shoulder and to the pit of the stomach, and to those activities in the lower portion of the abdomen.
9. These things we have merely given as a descriptive force to indicate that disturbance to be met in the present, for there to be bettered conditions through this body.
10. In the present, then:
11. Once a week we would have the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments to relieve those tensions in areas along the cerebrospinal system from which the organs of assimilation, and the activity of the circulation through the liver and gall duct area, receive the greater impulse for activity.
12. In making the adjustments or osteopathic applications, stimulate especially - with the body lying prone upon face - those areas in the lower as well as the upper dorsals; and coordinate those relaxings given with those areas through the lumbar-sacral as well as the upper cervical centers.
13. Then, periodically, for two or three days each week, we would take just after each meal three to five drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin in a little water.
14. On the third day, at the evening meal, take TEN drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin AND a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth stirred together in half a glass of water.
15. Then leave off for a week, or six or seven days. Then repeat the whole procedure, you see.
16. Be mindful that especially following the taking of the Bismuth there are the full eliminations, the next day, from the alimentary canal. This would be a good day to take the osteopathic treatment, you see, and then an enema that evening.
17. Then, with the general precautions as to diet, as to general activity, the manner of keeping in a constructive way of thinking, we should bring better conditions for this body.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Do you find that Dr. Dallas Lynn of Durham could give the osteopathic treatments satisfactorily? (A) He can; and he will, if you explain what is wanted. And as we find, with that as will be FOUND upon examination, he will give them correctly.
20. (Q) Any suggestions regarding diet for the body? (A) Read that as we have indicated.
21. We are through with this Reading.
