1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body and those conditions physical and mental that surround the body, [1819].
3. As we find, there are physical forces which disturb the better reactions throughout the physical body; and much of this is because of, or much of the mental attitude has a great deal to do with the reactions for the body.
4. As the entity and body is a very highly sensitive body, and creative in its physical attitudes, these attitudes - as indicated - cause a great deal of the reactions that find disturbance in the physical forces.
5. There should be as much constructive force, or greater constructive forces in the THINKING as in the activities that bring about creative force in the material activities.
6. These are the conditions physically as we find them with this body, [1819].
7. The inclinations for the lack of assimilations arise from disturbing conditions throughout the digestive system. Yet when there is the allowing of the body to become upset, or to become antagonistic, or to take very decided sides in this or that direction, these have as much to do with this indigestion, with this lack of assimilation, with the forming of gases and the poor eliminations; and thus reducing the strength and the vitality, causing the low blood supply to the body.
8. While there are physical things as we find that will aid and accomplish a great influence over these conditions, they are not ALTOGETHER material; though, to be sure, those conditions to be applied in the material way must be as consistently done as would be those activities to bring about or produce the completion of any activity in a

creative force for definite purposes.
9. As we find, then, in making the applications, there must be the consideration of diet as well as activities, as well as the administering of those influences that will be most beneficial to the body and blood building and supplying the elements.
10. But if there is the constant resistance kept as through the holding of resentments, the creating of activities in the finding of fault here and there, we will continue to have a reaction that will be a very nervous, a very disturbing physical as well as mental-material condition.
11. We would first, then, have at least three or four GENERAL osteopathic manipulations to attune the centers all along the cerebrospinal system to a PROPER coordination between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic system.
12. These will necessarily be GENERAL treatments, with specific reference to those areas in the cerebrospinal system from which the impulses are received for the emptying of the stomach into the jejunum, or the emptying of the pyloric portion of the stomach also.
13. In the diets - keep away from fried foods. A great deal of milk and milk products should be the basis of the diet, especially until the conditions are entirely removed.
14. Do not have those combinations of cheese and macaroni at the same time with potatoes or fried meats. And keep away from ALL fried foods as much as practical.
15. No combinations of quantities of sweets with highly seasoned foods. This also tends to make for a disturbance.
16. Whenever there is the inclination for a burning or fullness in the digestive system after eating, take from a quarter to half a teaspoonful of Alcaroid. First dissolve this in a small quantity of water, the fill the glass and drink; then fill the same glass and drink another full glass, that we may gain all the content of the digestive forces and influences for the general system. This would be taken about fifteen to twenty minutes after the meal whenever the fullness or burning occurs.
17. Keep the eliminations well active; not so much from cathartics as from the diet, as well as the activities. Have regular periods for the eliminations through the alimentary canal.
18. Occasionally, especially during those periods when the manipulations are being given, cleanse the colon with the use of high enemas. These will tend to make for better conditions in the body.
19. Take Codiron as a tonic; for pellets each day. Whether they are taken with the morning, noon or evening meals does
1819-1 Page 3
not matter, but have a regular time and take them then - do not change about. Take them DURING the time the meal is being taken. Take these for at least the rest of the period THROUGHOUT the early spring, or through the rest of the winter and early spring - or until about the tenth or fifteenth of April. This should have prevented then those periods of cold and congestion, provided the rest of the treatments or suggestions indicated are carried on.
20. The attitudes have much to do with the general physical conditions. Let the attitudes be more of a constructive nature; more of patience, more of brotherly love, more of "give and take."
21. Do not hold resentment. Do not get so mad at times when things are a little wrong. Remember that others have as much right to their opinions as self, but that there IS a level from which all may work together for good.
22. Smile always - and LIVE the smile!
23. Ready for questions.
24. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Osteopath. Codiron is manufactured by The Lawrence laboratories, Chicago, Ill. It sells for $1 a bottle of 60 tablets, $3 a bottle of 250 tablets. At your convenience we would appreciate a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information. This is valuable for our records.)
