1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name; and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records of that entity now known as or called [1821].

3. The shield is the calicle, with roses and a vine on either side, as a circle about same.

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire that the entity, applying same in the present experience, may come to a greater awareness of its relationships to Creative Forces, and how - in applying same - it may show forth and fill that purpose for which it entered this experience.

5. The choosing, then, is that in which there has been the temptation - yea, the activity that has brought confusion at times for the entity in the present experience.

6. Being an entity that has in the material planes applied itself in many varied phases of expression, there is a many-sided purpose oft. And the confusion of body, mind and soul as separate forces, with their attributes of each seeking expression, brings disturbing forces.

7. Hence we find little of the philosophies of life as expressed in orthodox relationships to many have been and are influences with this entity, except to bring disturbing periods.

8. To get the proper evaluation of each experience, or of activities in the relationships with others, has been and is a means or manner in which the entity may find self.

9. No activity other than in that of a directing capacity

1821-1 Page 2

will be satisfactory to the innate self.

10. Hence, then, as a lecturer, as a writer on subjects that are of special interest, that deal with relationships of individuals with inanimate things or feelings or expressions, and the effect same have upon the life of such, are those channels that may bring the greater awareness, as well as material and mental successes in the present experience.

11. Yet this requires that there be an ideal chosen by the entity, and the awareness of WHO is the author and finisher of such an ideal.

12. Then, from those influences of astrological aspects, by sojourn rather than merely by the position of the zodiacal signs or any planet or phase of the signs in this particular sphere, we find that these are rather an influence from the application the entity has made in that environ, according to the accrediting of such in the experience.

13. For as body, mind and soul are one in the physical experience of the entity, so is that which has been the thought, the purpose OF the indestructible influence or force within the ENTITY'S experience a part of the whole - as also the experiences that influence the application in the present sojourn.

14. As we find, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus are rather those that are in the benevolent aspects, with Saturn in the adverse.

15. Hence as we find, the high MENTAL influence and abilities - and yet these at times are confused by changes in the environ, and lack of proper evaluation of experiences or conditions from the very lack of ideal.

16. In Venus and Jupiter we find the abilities as leader, the abilities to find the unusual as well as the lovely; and the interest in art and artistic subjects; the abilities the entity might have - if they were manifested - as an interior decorator (as combined with the influences from material experiences, as will be seen); these might be raised to unusual powers and activities in the present.

17. Jupiter makes for the ennobling forces for the contacts with great numbers of people.

18. Uranus - as the extremist, which the entity becomes at times, allowing self to become morose, sad, over those things beautiful which are not possessed by self.

19. Love, in its greatest aspect, does not POSSESS! It IS! It is not then possessive - to be real.

20. As to the appearances in the earth, these - as we find indicated - are quite varied.

21. Before this the entity was in the land of the present

1821-1 Page 3

nativity, but among the peoples who were the natives of that land when discovered by the sojourners or dwellers in the land.

22. The entity was an Indian, an Oneidan; and in the experienced gained through the friendships created with those of that period who settled in the land.

23. In the present from that experienced we find the desire for knowledge, the desire for the ability of application; yet being afraid of being "cooped up." The desire to be free, out of doors and the like, arises from those innate forces that find expression in the emotions of this entity in the present.

24. To be housed or caged, then, is almost like clipping the wings of the entity in its giving its abilities, or in materially attaining its greatest influence and force through this experience.

25. Also in applying self in a field where there may be the lecturing or teaching, or writing, or a combination, would find the intuitive forces arising from that sojourn becoming more and more manifest.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the Promised Land, and especially in that portion about the sea where the Master loved so well to be.

27. The entity was young in years, yet one of those - as the entity is in the present - ofttimes too careful as to preparations; yet this became in that particular experience that from which the entity never got away during that sojourn.

28. For the entity was the lad FROM whom Andrew obtained the loaves and fishes to feed the five thousand.

29. Hence the entity is under that influence of increase, yet NOT too great a gainer in the experience from the lesson there. Easy come, easy go became too great an influence in that particular sojourn.

30. Yet if there is the turning to that surety as was proclaimed that day to the many, as was experienced by all the hearers that day, the entity will realize that there are the needs each day for each soul to choose aright; that there is today, as every day, set before thee good and evil, life and death - Choose thou!

31. Not in the choice of that which is so temporal as to blind self to the mental and spiritual needs. For unless the purpose, the ideal is founded in the spirituality, the increase and the growth - as ye experienced in seeing manifested to feed the HORDES that day - CANNOT, will not be a part of the experience!

32. Yet ye may vision how that the words, yea the very

1821-1 Page 4

feelings that ye may express may become as the loaves, fishes - yea, even as the manna in the wilderness that may sustain the physical, the mental and spiritual bodies of all.

33. For it, that purpose, is given power from on high.

34. Before that we find the entity was in the land of promise when there was the returning to the land from exile, in the rebuilding of the walls, in the rebuilding and reestablishing of the temple.

35. The entity acted then in the capacity of a workman who aided in the redecorating of the temple, and of the walls.

36. Hence innately and manifestedly we will find those abilities to choose in those directions, and in activities of such materially might great joy come to the entity in the present.

37. Yet the bigger and greater work lies in the activity of supplying the manners or such records that enable the many to apply themselves in such.

38. Hence becoming an instructor, a director through the power of speech AND writing, is the field of this entity; as it was in that experience as Eliab.

39. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were those activities in which there were the preparations of the many for their varied duties in establishing the political, the economic and the activities in which individuals gave themselves in directing the affairs of the peoples.

40. The entity was the recorder, Got-el-dia.

41. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

42. First, study self and its purposes, its ideals, and be sure that these are founded in that which is eternal.

43. Then be sure that it must be of the spiritual concept.

44. In the applying of self, then - as a lecturer, as a writer - in directing those who would study, those who would find themselves in their endeavor to become not merely a cog in the activity of a vicinity or city or county or state, but to make that place, that phase of their experiences a better place in which to sojourn; and that they are giving of themselves that the glory of the Father, as manifest in the Son, may be preached, practised, lived in the lives of all.

45. Ready for questions.

46. (Q) Why am I so delayed in making sufficient income from my work to exist and pay my just obligations, which I very much desire to do? (A) As we find, because of the bad choices that have been

1821-1 Page 5

indicated as having been made from time to time. Attempting, as it were, to fit the square peg in the round hole.

47. (Q) What have been the relationships between Mrs. [1770] and myself in past incarnations? (A) In the Palestine era and in the Egyptian. In the one as brother and sister; in the other as companions, helpmeets one with another.

48. (Q) Should this relationship continue? (A) There is much that may be as a help, as one to the other, in those activities in which the entity may excel - even in this experience.

49. (Q) Should I go on in the friendship for a certain family in Boston, with whom I spend much time, and can I help them further to find or know important truths or to find themselves? (A) This is very good - just so it does not become possessive.

50. (Q) I have never been satisfied with orthodox religions, as such. (A) As may be indicated from the experiences and the applications of self in the material sojourns - this should explain why. But it must be a personal experience. Then find self.
